### "They Are Awesome!"

Going from all paper based to computer and online registration was great, and using MyRec for that transition was awesome! They have a wonderful staff that is always there to help when you need it. Even if they aren't familiar with your particular problem they will utilize the other staff members to find your solution. Great program, great staff!

### "Still Learning the Software"

I am still learning what the software is capable of, that helps with our facility and program management. I wish the Index and Help Information was easier to use. Perhaps cross-referencing topics to make them easier to find.

Pros

The software makes facility rentals and management pretty seamless. It also works well with online program registration. Having an online registration system works well for our users who can access it anytime.

Cons

The site needs to be mobile friendly! We get complaints on how the information appears on their cell phone compared to a computer. Most people use their cell phone and not a computer.

### "Myrec met my expectations and more!"

Myrec has grown as technology has grown. We've been a customer with Myrec since 2007 and have seen tremendous growth in the company which is reflective of the improvements made to the product. I can't say enough about the Myrec team. Each and everyone is attentive, courteous, helpful and most importantly knowledgeable. They make me feel like I am their only customer.

Pros

The software is easy to use and easy to learn. Customer Service is second to none. Any and all questions and issues are addressed immediately.

Cons

The change in how sponsors are displayed. We need to be able to acknowledge those who support our works with donations and sponsorships without the website visitor searching for them or having to scroll through them.

### "No more accepting cash"

Pros

Our recreation program registration were always held inhouse and we dealt with a lot of cash transactions. Every year the auditors beat us up for that, so we needed to find a better way to include accepting credit cards. The online registration process helps us tremendously. I used to use excel for rosters, schedules and tracking facilities, this makes the process easier.

Cons

There is nothing not to like, but when there is something that needs to be tweaked, MyRec will help fix the issue.

The customer service of MyRec is the best! In the beginning we expected the extra support but the CONTINUED support is so appreciated. The staff is so pleasant and always avail themselves. They offer help in a pleasant way and are never condescending. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] were especially helpful during the initial set-up and launching of the program but ALL staff member have helped out many times!

Pros

The best feature of the software is the ability to print out current rosters, attendance sheets, etc. The program allows for up-to-the-minute accurate information.

Cons

The point of sales aspect could be improved upon. (I would like to break down the lists of jersey purchases by teams). The email blasts are good however it would be extremely beneficial to be able to go into an activity roster and email specific participants, not ONLY the entire activity. I would love to have more fonts available please!!

Overall experience. We are happy that we switched to this software and company. Previously we were with a software company for over 20 years and do not regret the switch.

Pros

My Rec has simplified the registration process as well as processing customers registrations. The ease of the credit card function has been much easier then a previous competitor. Customers as well as office staff have said the ease of on-line registration is much easier to navigate and staff are able to help customers over the phone easier then previous used software. Personally I like the ease of updating what the customer sees on line. Customer support is great and listens to request and trouble shoots within hours of contacting them.

Cons

The only con that I see to date is managing users. We would like to be able to have a few more options for staff access on a limited basis. This was suggested to them and they have been respective and looking into to as a possible solution.

The folks at myrec.com are so helpful, understanding, and patient in getting things started. Our entire City has included all rental venues including the new dog park to the myrec.com account which makes reporting, tracking, and disseminating information to city council a simple process.

Pros

Appearance and ease of use for the customer. We were able to select a beautiful and personal visual effect (and I am not easy). The overall abilities for this site in relationship to ability to rent facilities, see availability and pay for venues. Opening a dog park with on line registrations, payments, and uploading immunizations made the process a breeze!

Cons

Learning new software in general to me can be problematic at times but help is a phone call away with the myrec.com folks.

The appearance of the site, during the demo process, I was able to create a personal account in less than 2 minutes. Had a whole team log on with the myrec.com folks via a phone call and all were amazed at the abilities and reporting system.

Love this system. It can do many things and the customer service is great no matter how many questions you have they always get back to you. It's great that it is internet based too and I can even have reliability on my iphone and it works the same as a computer or desktop.

Pros

This software was pretty easy to learn how to use and very adaptable.

Cons

In being honest, I hate change and did not want to switch, and putting the programming in was somewhat hard to learn and took a bit of time to get used to.

Having been a MyRecDept.com customer for over 15 years, I have always found the MyRec team to be very responsive to any issues I ever encountered. I really appreciate that now the software is so fully functional that they call us to check in and make sure things are going ok and that we are taking advantage of any new features that they have recently added.

Pros

I really appreciate that MyRecDept.com continuously improves the product, adding new features and streamlining functionality all the time. The MyRecDept.com software gives our organization everything we need for a fraction of the price that we would pay to use some of the more "well known" recreation admin software company's products. Why pay more for fancy bells and whistles that you will never use?

Starting off was slow for me - but I found it easier each day I used it. Again - EXCELLENT Costumer Support.

Ease of use Reporting features gives you what you need The daily dashboard is a great tool! The tabs are clear and allows for seem less navigation in and out of areas.

Cons

I wish that there was an ability to in facilities allow for more facilities to be selected to make reservations.

I have been using MyRec since its development. We made the change from RecWare, now ProActive. RecWare was a good software, however the platform was much too large for the size of department at the time. MyRec was new, and its developmental stages. The initial product was simply online brochure, with roster capability. The software was much simpler to learn and use, as it still is today. The support staff is very knowledgeable and professional.

Pros

My favorite part of this software is the ability to establish programs and get information out to users is fast,easy, and effective. In addition to this feature the Point of Sale (POS) system makes taking in revenue a breeze.

Cons

The outside user struggles with the cart and add on items. These additions can be by passed so users think they have added them and have not. This area often times has to be explained to people using the site several times making it not very user friendly. I would love to see these issues with the system fixed.

The product is fairly easy to use and provides the information to our "customers" in an organized fashion. It has great visual appeal. When we were looking at software all thee sited we liked were MyRec.

Overall, it is positive.

Pros

Overall, ease of use. The customer service is near excellent. It is not as user-friendly (on the public) side as I would like.

Cons

I think it needs additional upgrades to the ease of use on the public side. Additionally, I think that there need to be more options in regards to the reports (admin) and ability to create forms that are seamless and not so long.

We would like to see improvements on the look of the Home Page. It seems outdated. The photo pool is "clunky" and you have to really dig around for uploaded photos.

My experience with myrec has overall been a great one. The staff is knowledgeable, very responsive and easy to work with. We plan to add field rentals to our product list this coming fiscal year for more efficient field downpayment collection and ease of scheduling.

Pros

One of the most impactful features is the ability to blast out texts and emails to our customers. I was not working here when the software was implemented, but having the myrec staff support has been invaluable in addressing our growing needs.

Cons

Not that I can think of right now. My co-worker will have more to say on this.

Pros

the software is easy to use from the Management side. wonderful record keeping, program listings, tickets sales, and rentals. Our staff, which changes from time to time, catches on very quickly to the way the system "thinks".

Cons

The rental section does not have an easy to use fees structure if you rent by the half day or full day. It does have a per hour rate, but we rent three pavilions for half day or full day with resident and non resident fees. And, each pavilion is a different size, resulting in different fee for each.
