### "Canvas Is The Best!"

March 19, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have enjoyed using Canvas! I have interacted with the platform as instructor, TA, and student and each experience has been good.

Pros

Canvas is a user friendly platform for both instructors and students. It has a wide variety of ways to present and engage with educational materials, and is easy to transfer courses from year to year or even instructor to instructor.

Cons

Canvas is a bit of a heavy lift to get set up at first. Configuring the class modules and adapting for different educational needs (grad vs. undergrad; online vs. in-person) can be time consuming.

### "Canvas - The Versatility LMS"

November 17, 2025

5.0

Overall, within the education field, canvas was a huge improvement from previous albums that I've used. Their versatility, the tracking, and the ability to organize your courses were simplified and very easy to do. It didn't feel clunky, it was very clean, and the user end had a positive experience and as a creator, I also shared that experience as well.

Pros

Canvas is an extremely versatile LMS because of its capabilities to host and create different files. What I like most about canvas is the ability to create pages that allowed you to link items from various resources. As long as that link stays stable, the user would be able to open and access that link. I also liked canvases capability to track several things about my users which include log in time, how long they were logged in, and if there were any required items to complete for assignments to complete, it would be able to track their progress and score which was essential for record keeping.

Cons

The main thing that I liked least about canvas was the creation of pages because it did require knowledge of coding in order to make the page appear and look the way you wanted it to. Thankfully I do have experience with coding so I was able to set up the page to look and function as I wanted it to. However, for some of my colleagues, they did have a harder time with that because of their lack of knowledge of coding and they were unable to achieve the kind of look that they wanted to do.

### "Reliable and Well-Organized Tool"

June 13, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with Canvas was positive. The platform is easy to use, well-organized, and helpful for managing tasks efficiently. While a few features could be more intuitive, it generally provides a smooth and reliable experience.

Pros

What I liked most about Canvas was its clean and user-friendly interface. It makes navigation simple, whether accessing assignments, announcements, or communication tools. I also appreciated how organized everything is, which saves time and improves productivity.

Cons

What I liked least about Canvas was that some features felt slightly slow or unintuitive at times, especially when navigating between multiple sections. Notifications can also become overwhelming if not customized properly.

### "User interface has space for improvement"

February 9, 2026

3.0

I see most schools use tit, unfortunately it seems outdated and again biggest issue is it's poor user interface.

Pros

Used it for school, one stop shop, all calls content was there, power points, tests, quiz, exams, eventual grading

Cons

User interface is quirly and hard to follow, seems to to be standardized, not sure if it was a problem by each Professor or simply the platform itself. Documents not always easy to find, uploading assignments was always an issue, had to submit emails to Professors as backups to ensure we'd be graded.

### "Canvas: What works and what doesn’t "

May 14, 2026

5.0

The overall teacher experience with Canvas is usually a mix of strong organization and real efficiency, balanced with a learning curve and some occasional frustration.

Pros

As a teacher, what stands out most about canvas is that everything is in one place. I can create assignments, create my announcement’s, and it has built in communication for my students.

Cons

What I like least about Canvas is that there is a learning curve at first. The interface isn’t always intuitive. Simple tasks may take too many clicks.

### "Canvas is Amazing!"

November 7, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Canvas has been amazing! I truly don't have any complaints for Canvas. The system automatically grades assignments (unless the instructor changes the settings for manual grading). All my messages to my instructors get sent and I never had an email be sent back through Canvas.

Pros

The main aspect I enjoy about Canvas is the ease of understanding the system. It took me an average of thirty-minutes to understand the layout of the system. I enjoy that I can email my instructors from the software instead of opening another tab for the email website. Plus, each course has its own link so the classes are nicely organized.

Cons

I can't think of a single aspect that I don't like about Canvas. My institution used a different platform (forgot the name) but it is MUCH easier to navigate Canvas. The other platform that was used in the past, had too many updates which would lock people out of the system.

### "A Reliable and Organized LMS for the Classroom"

February 19, 2026

4.0

We use Canvas as our primary learning management system. It has been a very strong platform for both teachers and students.

Pros

Canvas allows classroom content to be extremely organized. Assignments, announcements, quizzes, and grades can all be housed in one place, which helps streamline communication and keeps students on track. The ability to schedule content and structure courses into clear modules has made it much easier to manage pacing throughout the semester.

Cons

I have ran into issues with quizzes transferring from one course to another, especially from one school year to another. It turned out our quizzes were somehow housed on a different server than everything else. This issue took almost 3 years to resolve.

### "Canvas Works Like Magic!"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Canvas is an excellent Learning management system, user-friendly and Use it heavily in designing courses and integrating different learning tools. Our faculty like it very much.

Pros

Canvas is a learning management system that is user-friendly with a graphic interface easy to navigate. It can seamlessly integrate different types of learning and has multiple templates that help new users to design assignments, quizzes, and discussion questions.

Cons

The Canvas gradebook tool can be a bit complex and intimidating for new instructors. The HTML feature of Canvas is not robust enough for the designer who wants tobe more creative.

### "Canvas: The Premier LMS for Exceptional Support"

April 4, 2025

5.0

Overall, we have found Canvas to be the premier LMS. Our students seamlessly transition from high school into the higher ed space having had Canvas experience. We are very happy with the customer support that we receive.

Pros

We have been using Canvas at our K-12 district for more than a decade. We have grown with the company as it has expanded into the K-12 market space and love that we have been able to reap the benefits of being an early adopter.

Cons

Right now I would say that we are struggling the most with the conversion from the classic assessment "Quizzes" to the New Quiz online assessment feature.

### "You're the Art on your Canvas."

November 12, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Canvas has been great. Being a Student I use it almost every day. For me it has been a good experience. I would recommend all colleges/universities to use it.

Pros

What I like most about Canvas is it's ability to show and keep my schoolwork in one place and pick up where I left off. I as a student I use Canvas a lot and need it for my college work. It is really easy to use. It's really easy to navigate between courses and keeping them managed into one place.

Cons

I have had some issues with Canvas such as glitches, and bugs. However, I have never needed to use Customer Service for my needs. I believe it is still better than some of the other software's out there.

### "Cancas review"

May 8, 2026

5.0

Pros

What I liked most about Canvas was how easy it made managing classes, assignments, and deadlines in one place. The dashboard provided a clear overview of upcoming tasks, announcements, and course materials, which helped me stay organized throughout the semester. I also appreciated being able to track my progress through grades, feedback, and completed assignments directly from professors. The mobile accessibility and notifications were useful for staying updated on submissions and schedule changes. In addition, the integration of discussion boards, quizzes, and learning resources created a smooth and convenient learning experience that supported both in-person and online coursework effectively.

Cons

especially when multiple classes use different layouts and module structures. Notifications and assignment deadlines can also be easy to miss if professors do not organize the course consistently.

### "Very good platform for online learning and course management"

May 1, 2026

5.0

Very strong learning platform. Good for schools, universities and training organizations. Easy enough for students and useful for teachers to manage courses online.

Pros

What I liked most is the clean interface and good course organization. Lessons, assignments, files, grades and messages are in same place. It helps students stay organized and teachers save time.

Cons

Notifications can be too much if many courses are active. Also some settings depend on school configuration, so user experience can change from one institution to another.

### "Great for Students!"

May 7, 2026

4.0

Overall, Canvas gets the job done and makes school life way easier once you get the hang of it. It keeps everything in one place, helps you stay on track, and cuts down on the chaos of juggling classes. Even with a few quirks here and there, it’s still a solid tool that makes managing schoolwork feel a lot smoother.

Pros

Canvas is super handy for keeping all your school stuff in one spot. It’s easy to check what’s due, peek at your grades, and see announcements without digging through a million tabs. The layout is pretty clean, the mobile app works well, and it just makes staying organized feel a lot less stressful overall.

Cons

Sometimes Canvas can feel a little clunky, especially when different teachers set things up in totally different ways. Notifications don’t always show up when you need them, and a few features load slower than you’d expect. Submitting assignments with multiple files can get confusing, and the interface isn’t always the most beginner‑friendly.

### "Seamless Teaching Experience with Canvas"

March 19, 2025

5.0

There is only one word to describe my overall experience with Canvas: Excellent. No more Excel sheets to track grades, no more complaints about missing announcements, seamless cloud synchronization, and a centralized learning system.

Pros

As someone actively involved in teaching, I really appreciate the clean interface and ease of use of Canvas. Whether it's organizing course materials, setting up assignments or quizzes, or making announcements, everything is streamlined and efficient. Additional features like cloud synchronization, discussion boards, and video embedding are incredibly helpful from both the instructor's and students' perspectives. One of the most lifesaver features of CANVAS is SpeedGrader. It allows me to quickly review submissions, leave comments, and provide detailed feedback, making the entire grading process hassle-free and efficient.

Cons

A common frustration with Canvas is its notification system. While it does notify students in the announcement section, the notification is small and easy to miss. Another minor inconvenience is that although SpeedGrader is a lifesaver, it tends to lag when handling larger class sizes. These are the only minor inconveniences that I least like about Canvas.

### "Useable but Chaotic"

July 27, 2026

3.0

The more time that passes, I don't see this issue being resolved. They keep adding features when they should probably scale some back. There's also no auto-checking built-in feature, so people who type in a due date that doesn't match the assigned due date of a task get no warning pop-up.

Pros

It's commonplace among universities, so students who transfer universities do not have a huge learning curve. It also has a lot of features from teachers to choose from.

Cons

Canvas' pros of having many features often turns out to be a negative because users are not given any instruction on how to best deploy those features. Many teachers' pages are chaotic and very dissimilar to one another, which confuses students.
