### "Pros and Cons in my point of view"

December 11, 2024

4.0

My experience has been just ok not that great. There are my good thing but also there are some features which effects my experience badly.

Pros

At top I love how organized and neat Canvas is which really makes my work easy also I love how I can collaborate with my co-workers and share files. I can see any update in real time which helps me to stay up to date.

Cons

I dislike most is that there is no undo button available there which slows down my working speed due to retyping and I faced so difficulty while using on mobile also there is no option of auto save which is a big off.

October 23, 2024

I have used Canvas since 2019 when I enrolled in a BSW program at FGCU. Am now using Canvas in my MSW at UWYO.

Pros

I like the dashboard set up with all upcoming tasks right as I login. I also like the grading set up.

Cons

I wish forming groups was more intuitive.

It’s a great app honestly, it’s very convenient for what it’s used for

Pros

It’s easy to access classes, grades, assignments and announcements

There wasn’t much wrong with it. Maybe the updated canvas would do sometimes early in the evening when I needed it most

### "Canvas Review"

October 10, 2024

5.0

I used Canvas during my school. Even though I recently graduated, Canvas was really helpful application to keep me studying hard by reviewing material (lecture notes, HW answer sheets, and practice exams) and tracking all test scores. My instructor usually used Canvas to organize and manage the classes, I believe it was effective for both the instructors and students.

Pros

Easily recognizable for each class. I especially like this app because it is good to use on both on the phone and iPad. The interface is stable and intuitive. This easy access to class study material makes better productivity and easy to handle the class schedule and material ANYWHERE with an internet connection.

Cons

My overall experience with CANVAS has been fantastic!

### "Canvas Review"

September 23, 2024

5.0

It was overall a good experience as a student. I cannot speak on the professor/teaching side. I believe my peers all agreed when the switch was made at my college. The system was much cleaner than Moodle.

Pros

Canvas made college very easy. It helps separate different courses I was taking, reach out to professors/classmates, see grades along with assignments. My college had switched over to Canvas from Moodle and the layout on Canvas was much better.

Cons

I did not like the only test taking format. It was very east to skip over a question in the moment and plan to go back to the question. Due to the quiz being only, you would have to go pack "pages" to find the question skipped over. This would sometimes result in questions not being answered at the end of the quiz/test. I think they should add a side bar that highlights skipped over questions. This is only a problem if you plan to skip around during a quiz/test like I would.

My University had made the switch. I did not have a say in this.
