This is emtrains bread and butter. There are rarely any issues experienced by employees. Pros Emtrain is consistent in providing employee training courses that can be distributed in plans or bundles and associated with due dates. They also have decent reporting within the UI of the application. User file uploads are easy enough. Cons Emtrain has a small support staff, which can be good or bad, depending on the issue or concern you might be contacting them on. In some cases we've had great success in getting assistance quickly but in others where inquiries were more complex the resolution time was delayed. I don't think we used it enough to get the full value of the platform. There were changes and cost increases coming and we knew this would no longer suit our needs. They’ve upgraded their content library significantly, and higher number of minimum seats (200) but we don’t need that and never really did. We’re ending our relationship there b/c we only used it for the one Harassment Course that was on their platform Pros It did offer many courses and great features for notifications and assigning courses to learners. There are detailed reporting options for checking learner progress. Cons I did not like the system of acquiring licenses for the courses we needed on the platform. It was a pricier way vs the alternatives we ultimately ended up using. They send content through a SCORM file and you can upload into your LMS. They had decent customer service and they allowed us to be compliant in our training needs! Pros Emtrain makes it easy to check off the compliance box for harassment training. It tracks things simply and there are very few bells and whistles which make it simple to track and use. Cons The training videos are not super engaging and are very outdated. There is little interactive experiences throughout the training which means employees may put it on in the background and tune out. The situations are fairly engaging and Cons They updated to a completely new platform and it has been an absolute disaster. Their onboarding process was left entirely to the admins with one email and no customer support. We also lost about 70 licenses in the migration that Emtrain refused to help recoup. Aside from the terrible migration, the new platform is even harder to use than the old one. There ux/ui is not intuitive and hard to use as an admin.
