It performed all of the needed features for Property Management software. I liked the flow of the user interface and the ease of entering all of my transactions. However there were constant sync issues between PG and QuickBooks. It ultimately led to me having to replace it because I wasn't able to have multiple employees work in the file without creating discrepancies in which could never be solved. Pros The customer service! The customer support for the software was amazing. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] really went above and beyond to help out any way she could. Cons The constant sync issues with Quickbooks. Switched from [Rentec Direct](https://www.capterra.com/p/120753/Rentec-Direct/) The main reason I decided to switch from RentecDirect to Property Genie was originally because of Contingency Fund management. It was advertised and sold to us a cloud based program. "Cloud-based" to PG meant installing the program on my server, then using a dropbox system for files. The program also had to be installed and configured on each computer that needed access. That, to me, is NOT cloud based. I configured my computer as they instructed which resulted in many issues with the drop box system I already use in my organization. PG is a great product with many solid features. Customer Support was pretty good. However training was not a "package." There was no sequential training plan offered -- it was up to me to decide what I needed. Pros Lots of detailed features that will help any property manager. Cons Software was not cloud based as promised. Training was not a "package."
