After exploring SurveyAnyplace, our surveys became more complex, providing more value to us. Pros Survey Anyplace is the perfect survey solution, has more features than Survey Monkey or Typeform combined, the user interface is very easy to understand and navigate and help is always available in multiple forms. The possibility of downloading a custom PDF report for our respondents after taking a questionnaire is a gem that you can't find anywhere else in the survey software/assessment software space. Cons I haven't had any particular problems with the product yet, unlike with buggy competitors, survey anyplace seems to have their product well maintained. There was literally nothing that was positive except their promises. Cons Programming competence Customer service Quality of product Cooperative attitude What went wrong?? It would be much easier to say what went right because the list would be virtually nil while the list of what went wrong would be a dissertation. Thanks to Pointerpro and their incompetence in both software programming and customer service, our company took a significant hit reputation-wise and subsequently financially. Over the last 3 years, Pointerpro consistently produced software that did not function as it was supposed to and promised and consistently denied responsibility or accountability. Our firm is a small one or we would have taken them to court and sued them for their incompetence and damages. It is beyond my comprehension how others who have rated them could have had a positive experience unless their programming was so simple and straightforward that a second year college student could have done it. We have customers who have dropped us and their comments were basically this: "As long as you are working with Pointerpro, we will not do business with you despite the quality of your products". Our product is something that is done online and requires functional programming. I would strongly encourage anyone who has anything beyond a simple software solution to go elsewhere. In my view, it is the top tool in the market for (a) building great online questionnaires. surveys, tools, and then (b) producing fantastic customized PDF output. Technically: I love the look (and overall UI) of what Pointerpro creates and I love how well it works across devices. Support: All the staff at Pointerpro are just delightful. So professional and so helpful. Solid tool run by professional people. The kind of company I like to have on my side. Cons It's a complex tool, but that said, it has be really: building decent, multi-branch surveys with scoring systems behind them \*is\* a complex endeavour! If you start off by accepting that it'll take you a while to get up the learning curve, you'll be fine. One improvement I would welcome would be better page-break control (within the output PDF) when inserting customised output from surveys. We really would have liked the ability to print off the results in plain format (not in the more expensive report format). Pros We used for personality assessments which we developed as well as a tool to help people improve their listening skills, which we did for relcap.academy. It is easy to pick up and use though you do get training which was helpful. Cons Our only major issue with it our package did not allow users to print off their results. They provide the features we are looking for at a fraction of the price. I just don't feel like rebuilding the survey again at least for a couple of months. Pros Survey Anyplace was able to provide what we were looking for. We were able to develop an online quiz for my clients users to take and find out their results. Cons The cost is very expensive. There are other services out there with my cheaper rates. You charge so much additional for a generated PDF being sent to the user. I've had to upgrade my account 3 times because you have such low monthly submission rates. It should be the same cost no matter how many submissions. You should charge more for the users that have more than 1-2 survey. Pros The main reason we used this software was to automate survey responses in a PDF for the user to download or email. There are not many solutions on the market that can do this all in one. Cons I think the help pages need updating, they're not very clear when you are new to Survey Anyplace as they describe how to do things but do not show you step-by-step. Not being able to customise the front cover image of a PDF template is a bit annoying and unless you're a CSS wizard, the PDF responses can look very plain. December 5, 2018 5.0 I found Survey Anyplace user-friendly, creative and even funny, easy to share and wildly helpful processing my received data. 10+ for Survey Anyplace! Pros So I've used a number of survey programs to extract opinions and information from friends and organizations to which I belong. Truth be told I've never had a problem with any of them. None of them, however, have ever made me actually do a happy dance like Survey Anyplace has done. (Twice. I've done a happy dance twice. #literally) The thing I love most about happy dance isn't the interface that one creates to build a survey. Though, trust me. It's ideal and easy. I'm pretty good with computers but I'm not one of you super-smart Millennials that knows everything about everything and then some. I know enough. I count on ease of use to manifest with every program or app I try. Ease of use with Survey Anyplace goes to 11! As an entrepreneur, one who is starting my own company, it's the feedback and what I'm able to do with it from a reporting standpoint that makes Survey Anyplace the hands-down winner in my book. There are more date filters than one would ever need...and I needed a bunch. You can send PDF's off Survey Anyplace. I was able to show my investor that my path was exactly where we wanted to be. I was even able to loop her into the integration of information by looping her in through a variety of apps she used on a daily basis. You won't get better reporting anywhere else. Period. Whether it's collaboration or ingenuity you're looking for. Survey Anyplace is your best bet. Take it from me. Cons I had trouble adding a few pictures I needed feedback on at first. In particular, the relaunch of this function is very intuitive to use. In addition, an extremely large amount is possible, especially through the use of variables. The great depth of functionality combined with the simplicity of the application convince me a lot.In addition, the support is quick to respond and has always been able to help me very well. In connection with this, the "library" of tips and tricks is also really helpful. If you search a bit here, you will find good guides on all topics that instruct you on how to do what. Cons What bothers me is that the website often hangs or takes a long time to load, which is most likely not due to my PC or internet connection. Reason for choosing Pointerpro PointerPro was able to completely fulfil our requirements regarding the report function, which was not the case with other providers. It was particularly important for us that the platform with which we build our tool offers the possibility of linking several data series within a diagram in the report or analysis function.In addition, conformity with EU directives, especially the GDPR, is important for us and our customers, which PointerPro was able to offer us, other providers not quite so sure. Response to my feedback so far? Pay more. Very disappointed. Pros Beautiful end result - but I have not managed to achieve it yet. Cons I've spent over $3000 and not managed to get a single survey out. It does not do 360 as advertised, not without spending $2000 more. Setting up questions is relatively easy but everything else - including simply collecting responses - is fairly complex. Producing a full report is VERY complex. Overnight response rate is very frustrating when you are trying to get the product up and running. I've complained about this, and was told my only option is to spend more money. Reason for choosing Pointerpro the end reports look fantastic. I regret trusting the marketing as much as I did and I regret my decision.
