Both our use of the Pointerpro platform and our interactions with the staff that support the system have been extremely positive. I’d recommend the system for anyone looking to professionalise their questionnaires or reports.

Pros

Pointerpro has allowed us to streamline and automate our questionnaires and report generation, saving significant amounts of admin time. This has resulted in us being able to scale our offering in ways that would have previously been impossible.

Cons

As a relatively early adopter of some of the new elements of the platform, such as aggregated reports, there have been some teething issues. However, the team have been very responsive in helping to work around problems in the short term, and releasing updates that fix problems in the longer term.

### "Incompetence of Pointerpro"

Nothing. There was literally nothing that was positive except their promises.

Cons

Programming competence Customer service Quality of product Cooperative attitude What went wrong?? It would be much easier to say what went right because the list would be virtually nil while the list of what went wrong would be a dissertation. Thanks to Pointerpro and their incompetence in both software programming and customer service, our company took a significant hit reputation-wise and subsequently financially. Over the last 3 years, Pointerpro consistently produced software that did not function as it was supposed to and promised and consistently denied responsibility or accountability. Our firm is a small one or we would have taken them to court and sued them for their incompetence and damages. It is beyond my comprehension how others who have rated them could have had a positive experience unless their programming was so simple and straightforward that a second year college student could have done it. We have customers who have dropped us and their comments were basically this: "As long as you are working with Pointerpro, we will not do business with you despite the quality of your products". Our product is something that is done online and requires functional programming. I would strongly encourage anyone who has anything beyond a simple software solution to go elsewhere.

Pros

We have been thoroughly impressed with pointer pros platform and nimble features. We reviewed several other well-known platforms and none could deliver both with robust, calculating abilities and options for creating aesthetic reports. It was the aesthetic options that very much separated pointer pro from the rest. In addition, we were very impressed with pointer pros on boarding process and support of our ideas, helping create a pathway for our success which was crucial.

Cons

Some customer service representatives in the chat lines are either ignorant or lazy. At times, we have been told answers that have been incorrect. This does not apply to \[sensitive content hidden\] who have been really helpful.

### "Diagnostic assessments - experience with Pointerpro"

Generally good overall experience with assistance from their team. We really would have liked the ability to print off the results in plain format (not in the more expensive report format).

Pros

We used for personality assessments which we developed as well as a tool to help people improve their listening skills, which we did for relcap.academy. It is easy to pick up and use though you do get training which was helpful.

Cons

Our only major issue with it our package did not allow users to print off their results. To have that facility would have cost a lot more.

Pros

Just to mention a few, Flexibility of questionnaire and layout, Integration options, Reporting, Delivering of assessments....... I can go on and on..........We started using this software five years ago and never looked back. It is by far the most user-friendly software, and if I ever need help with something, there is always someone to help.

Cons

Overall, I am delighted with Pointerpro. If I am to pick something, it would be the ability to have a timer built within the questionnaire eliminating the need to build stand-alone modules for our timed assessments within the assessment suites.

Overall Poynter pro has been perfect for her needs, and we see a long-term partnership with them moving forward.

Pros

We used pointer pro to stand up an assessment that helps identify the capacity of individuals to make good decisions and avoid falling into despair. The ease-of-use and speed that we were able to get a beta version of our assessment up and running was awesome.

Cons

There are some latency issues with flipping between tabs and screens, and some of the functionality is still in development with respect to testing the assessment and the reporting. It’s not able to test or import responses to tests the report functionality. Some of the editing features are a little cumbersome for example, when setting up custom formulas if you want to re-order them, you have to re-create them.

We first bought Pointerpro during the lockdowns to make our form/survey processes more suited to remote work. It's been a treat to use since then and has given us a better way to keep an eye on different metrics based on our submissions. It's a very handy tool to have for several of our departments

Pros

I love how easy Pointerpro is to set up and integrate with your current systems. We were able to set up 10-15 forms in under two weeks, and we easily connected it to our other tools thanks to its native integrations

Cons

I'd have liked the e-sign features to be a bit more expanded on. A lot of our forms require a signature at the bottom but currently, the e-sign feature doesn't go past a basic sign widget

### "Finally... a very good product with great service"

Very good. Helpful, and I intend to continue to use it.

Pros

Fantastic customer service, right from sales through to support. Integrated functions, good range of templates. Lots of online guides and responsive service people (once they wake up in Belgium, which isn't amazing if you have a question in the morning in Asia timezones), but that aside, so nice to find a product that looks professional, is powerful enough, and is oriented towards users taking control of the whole report for themselves.

Cons

Certain fields are tied together, so cannot be customised separately. Very limited numbers of fonts / font sizes / positioning of fields and text on the page / low res for inserted graphics. Confusing (ie not easy to follow for dummies like me) coding for changing certain functions. Feels like these are 'works in progress' ie they will change this stuff over time...at least I really hope so bc the foundation of the product is v good.

Pros

It can build sliding scale assessments. This means you can have questions that people rate themselves then PointerPro adds up the scores. It can also give outcomes depending on the scores.

Cons

It is a bit overwhelming on th backend to do this. It takes a while to get a feel for the settings that have to be in place for the assessments to work properly. Some of the naming of particular features that are required are somewhat hard to interpret and required testing to find out what they did.

Reason for choosing Pointerpro

It is the only survey software that can set up sliding scale assessment surveys.

Survey Anyplace is far superior to our previous platform. It's faster & an overall better UX which is huge.

Pros

Ease of use. Speed between the questions. Selection of question types. Formatting flexibility. It supports photo uploads; our previous platform did not.

Cons

Tech support is not offered 24/7. Yet, they are quite responsive. It's usually something that isn't urgent. If you reorder questions, you need to redo your skip logic. The phone number field does not meet the North American Standard so it's a little kludge. We've had a few issues with photo uploads.

The quality of the reports generated after each evaluation, now the reports contain detailed and accurate information that has allowed me to easily analyze the results and make informed decisions for my business.

Pros

Wow! I can't believe how easy my job has become thanks to this platform, but what I like the most is its ability to generate custom reports after each evaluation. Previously, you had to spend hours manually reviewing and analyzing test results, but now it's all done automatically.

Cons

The fact that the platform doesn't offer as many design customization options is overwhelming at first but I would also like to have the option to further customize the appearance of my reviews to better fit my brand.

Cons

I wish there were more comparative data options.

Before PointerPro, we had the expertise to build training self-assessments, but not the technology, and always had to go through custom development. Thanks to PointerPro, we can now build these assessments ourselves and control them entirely.

Pros

It was easy to implement and get started, and I was able to get what I wanted pretty quickly.The report builder is really great, as well as the results dashboard. The customization options can be tricky but once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are huge.Customer service and support is top-notch!

Cons

The survey builder has a couple things that could be improved, not in terms of functionalities, but in terms of UX. Same with the report builder. The support centre could have a more furnished "Advanced" library for users who really want to get the best out of the customization options.
