Pointerpro has been so user friendly and it's been great to have one platform for all of our survey and assessment needs!

Pros

Pointerpro is great for all of the features it provides--way more than other survey-like platforms we've used.

Cons

Only hiccup we've had is around the ability to leave a question at neutral without having to click the slider--some people have had a bit of trouble understanding at first. Simple and easy to manage, though!

Overall, my experience with Pointerpro has been very positive. It’s a robust tool for anyone using personality‑based assessments (DISC‑style, Big Five‑style, or custom models) who wants branded, automated reports without heavy technical support. For our programs, it has streamlined assessment delivery and feedback, improved consistency, and enhanced how participants perceive the value of the insights they receive.

Pros

I liked that Pointerpro makes it easy to create branded personality‑style surveys and automatically generate personalised feedback reports without manual scoring. The platform is flexible enough to support complex scoring logic behind personality‑type outcomes, and the reports look professional and feel like a natural extension of our own programs. It has saved us significant time while still delivering a high‑quality participant experience.

Cons

The main downside is the learning curve: it takes a bit of time to fully understand how to structure the scoring and outcomes to get exactly the personality‑style results you want. The interface is functional but can feel a little dense at first, so new users might need a short period of experimentation before feeling completely confident in building and testing their surveys.

Our experience with Pointerpro has been consistently positive from both a product and support perspective. The platform is easy to use and enables us to deliver high-quality surveys with a polished user experience. On top of that, the customer support has been excellent - responsive, solutions-focused, and genuinely supportive whenever we’ve had questions or needed guidance.

Pros

We love the Pointerpro user interface. The surveys look professional, are easy to build with a variety of question types, and are very intuitive for respondents. Our clients frequently comment on how smooth and user-friendly the experience is.

Cons

There’s nothing we dislike. We’ve been a long-term Pointerpro customer and have been consistently happy with the product. The platform meets our needs well, and the team has always made us feel supported.

I was alot happier with the support this year. Product is complicated or could potentially just be what we require in our project.

Pros

I have very little knowlege of your product. I have inherited the project and the process/project requirements has been set and continued for the last 4 years. I do not know I how to use and if it can benifit me and the organisation more. Condisering the cost, I would like to create other use cases for the product and services

Cons

This year, the collaberation between PP team and us was better and smother. Timlines were managed better with depper explanations as to what changes were being faced and how they were being resolved.

Generally good overall experience with assistance from their team. We really would have liked the ability to print off the results in plain format (not in the more expensive report format).

Pros

We used for personality assessments which we developed as well as a tool to help people improve their listening skills, which we did for relcap.academy. It is easy to pick up and use though you do get training which was helpful.

Cons

Our only major issue with it our package did not allow users to print off their results. To have that facility would have cost a lot more.

In general, Pointerpro is a great tool that provides the survey and reporting capabilities that other tools do not.

Pros

Really love the onboarding/orientation program when signing up and configuring the account. \[sensitive content hidden\] was an attentive and extremely knowledgeable account representative, and the support team was great in helping us through some of the tougher challenges in setting up exactly as required. The translation function is also super easy to use!

Cons

The report designer tool has a little bit of a learning curve and feels a little primitive. While the tool does have the ability to modify beyond the basic parameters, it requires advanced technical skill and custom CSS. There are also limited aggregate/group variables available.

Pointerpro has significantly streamlined our processes with its simplicity and speed. The ability to work collaboratively within our department is a major plus. However, enhancing template reusability would further boost efficiency and reduce manual effort. Today we created an inactive campaign which we duplicated

Pros

Its powerful software that allowed me build the exact project i had in mind, which i could not find anywhere else

Cons

It was quite technical and the learning curve a bit steep but the onboarding team was incredibly helpful.

A powerful and dependable survey platform with standout flexibility. It lets us deliver clear results to customers without forcing an all-or-nothing approach to sharing data. Reporting is one of the best parts of the tool, and it supports a wide range of survey use cases. We plan to keep using it.

Pros

Pointerpro is extremely flexible for survey design and distribution. The dashboard and sharing controls are a big strength, because you can tailor what each customer sees and keep reporting focused on the right insights. Reporting quality is high, and the platform works well for both engagement surveys and other research projects. ReportR is a great add-on for creating professional reports quickly.

Cons

The depth of configuration means there is a lot you can do, so new users may need a bit of time to explore all the features. Once you’ve got your templates in place, it’s straightforward.

Pros

Pros: +Flexibility of both their online assessment/survey tool & the personalized PDF report builder. +Onboarding includes multiple sessions with an onboarding expert to help you get your first assessment built.

Cons

Cons: -Using some advanced features required a significant learning curve and/or lots of trial & error. -Payment feature doesn't natively support re-attempts after a customer payment attempt fails, though you can build a workaround using multiple conditional survey questions with a payment prompt. -Use of HTML coding in the PDF report builder would occasionally results in different spacing across sections despite using the same HTML code. -Maximum graphic size is fairly small which required me to split up graphics in some instances in order to appear to be a single high-resolution image. -Font options included many Google standard fonts, though having more font options would have been helpful to better align with my brand.
