Customised Version of the web based Service Desk / CRM

Comments: Sunbird Perfumes has been using the customised version of the web based service / CRM developed by PFIM for the last 5 years.

With more than 20 000 contacts on our database with whom we have to communicate regularly, this used to be a daunting task. PFIM gave us the flexibility to send individual real time automated messages via email / sms from the web interface. This user friendly communication has alleviated a lot of time consuming alternative methods of communicating with our Distributors. Communications records are kept on each individual profile and can be accessed by any staff member at any time ensuring accurate follow up communication. From a management perspective I would like to see an improved reporting system on the communications log. Currently this not accessible via the web interface.

As a multi level direct selling company it has been of the utmost importance that we can give our Distributors accurate, on time and transparent information. Real time processing of invoices, calculations of group sales etc., give our Distributors an accurate view of their individual business statuses. Without the customised version. this would have been impossible.

An additional advantage of using the web interface is that off site processing is also possible. Recently Sunbird was doing a recruitment drive in East London and we were able to register, invoice and communicate with new Distributors on date of recruitment. A challenge face by many direct selling companies is the retention of our Distributors. Giving a Distributor a pleasant, accurate and speedy first time experience with a company certainly helps. Being able to communicate immediately with a new Distributor using the sms automated messages enhances this experience.

1. Built and designed around our industry (air-conditioning) and applicable to all other business sectors
2. Modular System
Cons:
1. Reporting should be more structured
2. Would like to design my own reports reflecting the data I want and need (easily)

Thank you Cornel Coastal Airconditioning have been using PFIM as both an ERP and CMMS system for 11 years. The organisation is currently rolling out the PFIM Mobile Application for Technicians to 16 of their teams. The operations managers, store man and other employees also make use of the system on a daily basis. The requirement for a user definable reporting interface is a requirement that we intend to address going forward. It has been great working with Coastal and their teams over the years and we look forward to many great years together.
