Pros Creately has some decent templates to begin an org chart or mind map, although some more work could be put into the template selection. From the template, the edits are really easy and intuitive. Cons If you want to start from scratch (e.g. no template), the software is a little tricky for a novice to make something that looks professional. The template selection could be augmented to help provide more bases to start from. Mapping out respondent homes for our project census no longer had to be done with freehand and papers. Creately solved that for me. I am able to create the most complex diagrams and flow charts to represent complicated workflow systems and team structures.Our PowerPoint presentations and newsletters have also seen a whole lot of visual improvements thanks to Creately. Pros Creately offers me so much freedom to explore my ideas. From the extensive collection of diagram types they offer, I always manage to find just the right fit each time. Even better is that it also allows me to easily create my own shapes and format them to my taste with the quick toolbar. My PowerPoint presentations are much more richer, I no longer have to do hand paper sketches to draw free form community maps anymore. Cons Sometimes, I have a hard time getting my shapes and lines to connect just right. And text editing could be improved to make it way more efficient than it currently is. It's always been a struggle to find a software or platform that allows you collaborative work without getting the format of the document all messes up; Creately allows me and my students to create as many documents as needed, it also allows us to work on one same document without any issue. The price we pay is totally worth it (an inexpensive), I will continue using Creately and hopefully I can get some of my coworkers to try it as well; I know they will love Creately! Pros I love how Creately allows me and my students to create documents while working all at the same time. Also, it has an infinite amount of templates and canvases you can work on, editing and adding information. Amazingly it also has a video conference tool that allows me to present the work while still working on it collaboratively, and honestly the best part of it is the price, it's only $6 per month and that allows you work on unlimited documents as a team, saving all your files in the cloud or downloading them in different formats. Cons Nothing, Creately has everything I need for collaborative work, my students love creating flow charts and mind maps using Creately and honestly I do too. I wouldn't change a thing. Mostly we drew flow charts, Entity diagrams, Class diagrams and Mind maps. Easy tool with great support to export your documents in JPEG, PNG or PDF formats. Sharing feature provided our team to collaborate in a single diagram in real time and can able to comment on each shapes. Cons They should improve their mobile support. Pros \- User Friendly interface to select the type of diagram you wanted and the ease of use (Drag & Drop). - Not too much on the pocket - Auto Save option which makes you focus only on the business diagram - Amazing customer support Cons The latest update (moving away from flash to cloud based solution) has some hiccups. Very rarely the application throws run time error and I need to relaunch it. While this is slightly irritating, the auto save option helps to recover my diagrams as is. April 28, 2022 3.0 Pros This is one of the best application for designing Gannt and Orgnization charts to build. We can call our teammates to app and they can also contribute and comment on the designs. Cons Zoom In and Zoom out don't work sometimes. Anyway, it's the more convenient tool in terms of price. Pros The chance to use it from Google Drive was amazing to me, because I could group all my deliverables on just one place to be shared with my clients. Cons It has several usability issues related of how it connects with Google Drive. Creately it's not able to open a new document on the platform and saved it in Google Drive. That was very umcomfortable.
