We handled food, toys and household goods. Pros The user level ease of data entry is as good as it can get, mostly step by step process flow. Good control over the over all stock management Cons The desk top interface can be more user freindly. Often difficult to get around. A good level of practise is required to master. The birth of PALMS WMS in our organisation has been followed by: - Significant Inventory Improvement : PALMS is excellent in transaction management; highly efficient and effective in inbound, outbound, put away, order picking, shipping, cycle counts, etc. PALMS has helped us keep track of every product from purchase to the final user, updating the status and state of the material at every point, and able to easily manage returns from final user back to our warehouse. - 100% Order Fulfilment : I have the experience of PALMS as being flexible, allowing material flow as per user needs and updating every business unit accordingly. - Material Management : With PALMS, we are now able to tell exactly where the material is, what state (damaged, sold, ordered, etc), what storage facility, what quantity, which expiry age, and a lot more. - Easy Usage : PALMS being very user friendly and intuitive has significantly helped the integration of new staffs/users, thereby reducing training cost and time. Need to focus on permanent actions on repetitive issues. System is good and palms team should motivate customer to use all the available features. There should be frequent interactions with customer to explain the available features which may be customer is not using. This will help customer to improve the operations and then they will have more confidence on Palms. Pros Application is good for warehouse management. Has quite all required features. Customer support is active and gives quick response. Cons Customer support is responsive but I think they are working on immediate resolution only. Detailed analysis of problem with permanent corrective actions is missing which needs to be improved. Also, software to be little more user friendly. Pros The functionality and user friendliness, the backend support team. Cons There are few features which we shared with PALMS development team, and got it deployed. Reason for choosing PALMS Cause my experience of work with teams from Bangalore South India (HMS Software Company "Insta Health Solutions Pvt. Ltd." now owned by PRACTO, the way they gave the training and attention to any issues we face). Only one hour difference no day and night / big time difference issue. With India moving from the conventional 'Godown System' to mature 'Warehouse Environment' , PALMS is a must have for those wanting to move with the times. I found it very organized and clean software to work on. Pros Effective & easy to use, not the prettiest interface but flexible and quite accurate.
