We already have thousands of customers through the country, but we are looking to add to our base. We have been actively involved in the dry cleaning industry for over 20 years by building our feature rich Point-of-Sale, also known as the Smart System. We also have our barcoded conveyor system, and automated assembly systems available, which merges software and hardware.

"iDryclean Versatility"

Overall: We use this system in all of our stores. Has been the backbone of our Drycleaning, Laundry, Alterations, Leathers, Shoe Repair and Commercial Accounts. As I mentioned before, it is very easy to learn and understand and very forgiving.

Pros: It is very easy to teach new employees and also very easy to navigate through the system. It is decently priced system without breaking your bank.

Cons: Nothing I can think of, but, the culprit is not the software, but, as the system uses Windows Updates, anytime there is a Windows Update, the Invoice Printer goes crazy. The simple remedy is to delete the Invoice Printer from the Active Printers Menu and restart the system and it will automatically install the printer. So, not a major inconvenience, but, your employees need to know this. That's all.

Reasons for Choosing SmartManager System: The Database and Architecture are easy to understand and the system recovery can be done by myself instead of having CompassMax folks on the phone for hours to get the system running. I had a computer crash due to its age and we were back up and running within an hour after swapping the hard drive and reinstalling the software.

"Excellent program and even better customer service!"

Overall: We've been using SmartManager for over 10 years and have had zero issues. We most recently had a hard drive failure on our computer and SmartManager customer support was quick to provide recommendations, support, and solutions all in the same day. Within minutes of calling GBS, they had support resources ready to go and on standby. Since our old PC had Windows XP, there were driver issues moving to a Windows 11 machine. GBS took the time to test and troubleshoot for several hours so that we could salvage as much hardware as possible to minimize costs. We needed to purchase a new printer as the older model was no longer compatible with Windows 11. GBS’s tech support made themselves available after hours to help us install and configure the printer to have minimal downtime. Later on, we had other issues non-related to the software and GBS came through with stellar support working and troubleshooting on the weekend! That is amazing customer service. They even provided recommendations, walked us through how to troubleshoot on our own. Their product is great, but their customer service and support is OUTSTANDING. Will highly recommend. Cannot say enough great things about this company and their product.

Pros: The ease of use, speed, and straight forward menus make this a perfect software for our team. You don't need to be computer savy to be proficient in using this effectively. The menus are well laid out and located in an easy to find manner. We can quickly train new members in less than 30 mins.

Cons: No cons, really a great software solution!

"BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECH SUPPORT"

Overall: HELLO GOOD MORNING, MY NAME IS LIZETH I AM THE MANAGER OF A CLEANERS IN CA, I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW JUST TO EXPRESS HOW I AM FEELING NOW AFTER A 3 YEARS OF USING THIS GBS SMART DRY CLEANERS SYSTEM V2005 I CALLED TECH SUPPORT AND THE PERSON WHO HELPED ME SAID THAT HE IS THE MANAGER NAME AUSTIN. 01-04-2016 AT 9:30AM IN CALIFORNIA. THE ONLY THING THAT I ASKED WAS TO HELP ME CONFIGURED MY AUTOMATIC SALES REPORT TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND HE SAID THAT BECAUSE IT'S AFTER 1 YEAR OF USE HE CAN NOT HELP ME. HE IS BUSY WITH OTHERS ACCOUNTS AND IF THEY ARE GOING TO HELP ME THEIR COMPANY WILL CHARGE ME ONE TIME USE THEIR TECH SERVICE $ 285.00. FIRST THE PROGRAM HAS ISSUES ON THE CORRELATIVE INVOICE NUMBERS AND FOR A REASON OR OTHER 3 OR SOMETIMES 4 INVOICE NUMBERS DOES'NT APPEAR. I THINK THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR INVENTORY. PLEASE COMPANIES THAT ARE THINKING TO BUY A SYSTEM FROM GBS COMPANY THINK TWICE. FIRST ASKED FROM THE BEGINNING ABOUT THE TECH SUPPORT AND FOR HOW LONG THEY CAN HELP YOU. AND BE SURE THAT THE PROGRAM RUNS PERFECT. YOU ARE BY YOURSELF WITH THIS PRODUCT.

"It increases customers confidence drastically."

Overall: Consistency

Pros: I have been using this system since 2001. In the past, we used to do manual inventory control and management. We currently have 3 systems set up. The Smart System really makes management for my business a breeze. I cannot imagine going back to the old way we were running things. They are always ready to support me if the need arises, which is not often by the way. Their support is superb and will take the time to support our business to business relationship. They offered me split payments and financing, so payment was not an issue for me. Support is available during standard business hours, 9AM-5PM, Monday through Friday. Support will attempt to answer any and all questions regarding the dry-cleaning industry, in general, or as it applies to your immediate needs.

"Great product and great support"

Overall: I have been using this software last 20 years. Smart dry cleaners POS system works out for me perfect. It has all the marketing and management features and also 100% interface with my automated sorting system with heatseal barcode tags. I have been so happy with Smart POS!

Pros: Full of features! Gear to full automation! Tech support knows what they are talking about and they have been a great help every time I called!

"Great system! It is very easy to use and perfect sales/marketing reports. "

Overall: I think Smart system has too many features that I don't use much.... I think because of some other users in different states with different policies or something.

Pros: Smart POS system has many features that help my business to grow. GBS tech team is always pleasant to work with. Brad is one of my favorite tech support. They are very all nice and very helpful when I call them.
