Since then, SoGoSurvey has completely revamped its user interface to become even more user friendly and all of its great customizable survey options remain. SO glad we found SoGoSurvey! Pros More user friendly than it used to be 4 years ago, tons of question types, questions are more customizable than your typical survey platform. Cons From time to time the interface runs slow and I still have not heard back from customer service on applying the nonprofit discount to a more expensive package even though we've been a customer for 4 years... Also, it is very convenient and you could easily create an account and easy to create your very own survey. I have also heard a lot about this software and they were all positive comments about it.  Cons I haven't completely tried everything on this software. However, if there is one aspect that I dislike on this software would be the free-trial. I will try using it more often and conduct a survey so I could tell which aspect do I like the most and which aspect do I dislike. As well, I needed a tool that will not lose its formatting no matter what device it is used on. So I settled on SoGoSurvey after comparing it to other survey programs. I had a bit of a bumpy start setting up my survey but the customer service was phenomenal. I loved both the online assistance and even more the ability to set up a one-on-one appointment. That feature alone warrants the five star rating. That I'm aware of, my respondents did not difficulty using the tool - another important aspect of this software because data usage is very expensive in my research site. Pros I like the ability to build in a skip pattern that actually works. If a respondent's response should skip a section, they will not see that section. Cons Respondents' answers are not saved as they complete the survey. One respondent told me something happened as she was answering the survey and she lost all her responses. She had to start all over. This can be frustrating to the respondent which may lead to diminished robustness of responses. Review Source ALW Anne Lea W. After some research online I found SoGo survey. SoGoSurvey had some great reviews so thought I would give it a try. The free account to be honest had much more functionality than Survey Monkey, which I had used before. It has a generous question quota, a lot of functionality and analysis tools included in one. Results can be exported to excel easily, data can be analysed quickly as well as efficiently. To make it even better they offer free upgrades for students, which is truly helpful. http://www.sogosurvey.com/ Cons I am overall super happy with the software and only sad I did not find it earlier. The software functioned smoothly throughout the three months with real-time data uploading and easy supervising at the back stage from our office. It saved us a sum of expense and the trouble to engage a professional market research company. If we have the chance to do research again, we will definitely use this software. Pros I was able to pull out data whenever I want, in a neat format, and it takes only a min; I shared survey link to other teams and it worked well for all of us and all the field auditors; I had the choice to customise my survey page, linkage, and adding my logo/brand, which is a great value to the money paid Cons If I remembered correct, when I was looking at the subscription options, there wasn't choice with short periods such as one month. I really hope this limitation should be per month. The ui is also good all the needed tool is on the right side and one click only. Cons The only draw back is 200 responds per month. There are plenty survey services out there so I do not think this will be my go to. Pros I used this for my college course in database marketing and it was really cool to easily gather data and find out what your looking for. Cons The only con is that you have to pay for it. Now I'm retired and consulting with nonprofits on a volunteer basis. I needed to create board self-assessment surveys and went back to SurveyMonkey but the cost was too much for what I needed to do so I did some research and decided to try SoGoSurvey. I'm am so glad I did. Everything about my experience was better than working with SurveyMonkey. I was able to create exactly what I needed in very little time and the administration and reporting of the results are what really won me over. I always seemed to need to manually manipulate the results with SurveyMonkey but was able to create great reports with very little effort. The couple times I had questions regarding how to create a complex question I was able to get help almost instantly. I love SoGoSurvey and wouldn't switch back. Pros Ease of design, administration and especially reporting. Cons I had trouble changing the color scheme when I copied a survey but I'm sure there is a quick fix if I'd taken the time to ask for help. The reasons I would suggest SoGoSurvey as a online survey tool of choice is because of its simplicity, good support and great product. They offer many packages to choose from including a free version. The SoGoSurvey online survey tool allows you to setup ranking, matrix, rating and many more complex questions. It includes routing capabilities, easily changing the theme of your survey as well as setting up mailing lists that I used recently with real ease. It also have great reporting capabilities to monitor your survey quota for example, with graphical representations. Another important factor is their assistance with helping students achieve their research goals i.e. they actually will consider giving you a full pro licence; meaning your restrictions on question types, reporting tools and mailing capabilities etc. are less restricted than many other free versions on the market. Also they wanted to have the poll to be instant. After some searching we found this link and software. It was an easy task after that. Went right through and we got our results in not time. Super happy for team Cons A bar chart or a pie chart of the poll results were not available when the team did the survey. Perhaps the team was not technically correct. I tried another package first but it was clunky to use. Pros This is an easy product to get started using. I created my first sample survey in 15 minutes! Used the software for: ### "Great Initial Trial of SoGoSurvey" October 31, 2016 5.0 I recently completed an initial trial of SoGoSurvey and have been very impressed by the features available, particularly in both the Pro and Enterprise Plans. SoGoSurvey is one of the only platforms I have been able to find that provides the capability to easily pre-populate a survey before sending it out to participants, which is important for us to ensure that we avoid duplication of work for our participants. We also are excited about the question types available, as well as the ease with which we can export results in a variety of formats. Surveys can be printed before and after completion and it is easy to save and continue at any time. I have been very impressed by the responsiveness of the team at SoGoSurvey and their willingness to provide support even during the trial period. January 8, 2016 5.0 I am currently writing my dissertation and opted to design my own questionnaire, used Survey Monkey initially but didn't get enough respondents to start analysing my data and because I am a bit low on cash, I decided to research on good free survey tools and came across SoGoSurvey (http://www.sogosurvey.com/) The free version performed beyond my wildest expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's got more features on the free version compared to the others in the market and the icing on the cake is the opportunity to upgrade to the full version if you are student, which I am so thrilled about. The interface is so simple and user friendly, this helped me in designing my questionnaire in no time and trust me I am not technically savvy. I would recommend this survey tool to all researchers and I would like to mention that their email support is fantastic. I actually received response within 24hrs. SoGoSurvey is SoGood!!! I found it anticipated a lot of the most basic needs for information upload and quick editing or creation of survey questions of a wide variety of types. Its user-interface is customizable and instantly mobile-ready, making it easy to apply in academic settings where you want students to give instant feedback via their mobile devices. The complex question types (mulit-question grid-style) still don't work smoothly on mobile devices, but probably never could due to size constraints. Customer service was responsive. The Plus plan is nicely featured with everything you need, plus a few things you wouldn't have thought to need. It is very worth upgrading to SoGoSurvey from the flabby, clunky, and sloppy data output of Google Forms. March 31, 2017 5.0 I am a marketing company that regularly reaches out to my end users to collect data in order to get the pulse on who's paying attention to us and what they want. After looking through various providers for survey services, I found SoGo to be the best value for the price. I needed something that was flexible, offered a full line of question collection types and a good way to analyze the data. SoGo has the features in it's class. I was using survey monkey and it just didn't fit our basic needs without having to go into a higher level of service. SoGo puts allows anyone to get a good return on their data at the entry but offers many additional features for those who need them in higher tiers. Their customer support is very quick,responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly... this is the best feature in today's online service provider space.
