Pros This tool covers almost all kinds of features that are provided by it's competitors. It has to different views that have recently been updated in the new release and the newer version looks much smarter. The design of the dashboard along with the metrics is really easy to understand and the user interface is also pretty smooth. Its really simple to create surveys, distribute them and generate reports. I am really impressed with the reports section as it helps our company visualize our data in different formats. Providing customizations with different reports simply adds to the pros. In case of any issues faced on the platform, the support system is the fastest and can help in solving our problems in less than no time! The survey platform this excellent, the tools are very well laid out and simple to use. You can save your questions in answer banks so you can use them time and again. There is a VERY useful reminder email function too. Oh and not to mention the awesome analysis tools. You can get your results in charts and put in a PowerPoint in just a few clicks. Pros The analytics dashboard is very informative and gives a lot of insight into the performance of your survey campaign. This is a practical feature that is somewhat lacking in other similar services. February 20, 2018 5.0 Sogo Survey is a very good program that I have not found almost mistakes, it has benefited me a lot in my work area, since I have been able to provide better elaborated surveys and better explicit results, this has helped the innovations of our services. Pros What I like most about Sogo Survey is the way in which the graphs are implemented at the time of completing the questionnaire. A circular graph is shown where each person's responses are specified by percentages from positive to negative. This has greatly facilitated the understanding of their features and functions. Cons Sogo Surveys has an application for mobile phones, clearly for this app you can not perform surveys, but you can see statistics and percentages of surveys previously completed, the problem is that the percentages are totally different from those shown in the Sogo website. It went quite well. By assigning values to certain questions, it made it easy for us to tabulate the sessions people attended and how many credit hours they should receive and we were able to use the data to perform a merge with a Certificate of Completion and to file with the regulating body for the CEU credit. Pros The ability to store questions in the system for future use. This allows me to save time on similar future programs by quickly grabbing questions from the repository and inserting them where I need them. Cons Several functions in the software that I believe should be included in the standard package are only available as part of a premium package which is frustrating to the user. Especially when the user only needs access to a couple of those premium functions making it cost prohibitive to upgrade and frustrating to remain at the lower level. In addition, it would be nice to have more control over how questions/responses are laid out on the screen. In some cases when you design a survey you need to group several items closer to show they are related. It was really great experience to work with SoGoSorvey when I needed to create a survey with pictures for patients with psychosis for evaluating and understanding their preferences in outdoor environments. Also, before sharing your survey there is an opportunity to test it first. I think it is a really useful option. I am very satisfied with SoGoSurvey. Cons When you start working with SoGoSurvey you need to spent some time to learn the interface before starting but I think it applies to every new software. I asked for support 3 times. I got some support by call and remote demonstration. The support assistant made it very quickly, so I couldn't really follow the explanations to do it again on my own. I think that it was not really pedagogical. The support assistant also led me to a "tutorial" but this was not always a consistent to my questions... So I had to experience by myself all the options and see how it worked on my own. At the end I succeeded this way -- the upgrade subscription : I asked for help to explain to me how I had to proceed. This was well explained by e-mail and I managed to do it in due time. Pros Once we know the different options for desiginng a survey, it's really easy to use. I could then realize tailor-made and detailed surveys. They were very appreciated by the customer. Sogolytics is easy to use, has many customization options, looks professional, and most importantly for me, offers a student license. Pros The sheer number of features was probably the most important. Every question type I needed was present and there were many more that I've never even heard of.Additionally, the method for making a survey is easy and intuitive. I had almost no trouble when using Sogolytics.Lastly, the professional look of the survey is an added bonus. For my studies I really only used google forms, which was definitely an obstacle when I wanted my survey to be taken seriously. (That's not a problem with Google forms of course, there's just a certain response people give when they use it) Cons I really have no cons thus far, however, this might be because I haven't used it for very long. Pros As a company, we do a lot of employee engagement survey's and customer surveys and SoGo is a great product that allows us to conduct them. We liked that there is a free demo and how it has an extremely user-friendly UI that is simple to navigate. I also appreciated that the software has reminders and updates to check for responses. The products tools are laid out well, easy for respondents to reply, and the reports were great! overall a wonderful and useful experience! Cons Our only problem with this survey software is when creating the survey's from scratch is a bit more challenging then it is when using a preset template, but that was expected. They offer many options of question formatting (if you upgrade from free) so I was able to format my survey questions exactly as I had intended to. They offer a plethora of ways to send out the survey, including ways to see who accessed the survey from which social media/email/etc link. Overall, my survey looked very professional and results were easy to view and export. Cons They increased their prices over the summer which was unfortunate. However, due to their recent transition to an annual payment term, I decided to look for another option. I'm currently writing my thesis and I will only be using this kind of service for a set amount of time (possibly 4-6 months only). That is how I found SoGoSurvey. I read through the features and monthly cost, I was impressed and decided to subscribe to the site. Next is customer service. I am subscribed to several sites online (i.e. Amazon, Origin, Steam, etc.), and I have to say SoGoSurvey is the best I've ever experienced. I had a problem with loading the site previously and sent a ticket. Within minutes I get a response with complete instructions and support on how to resolve the issue. The only complaints I can think of at the moment are probably the UI, and some missing features. I was kinda disappointed that skip-logic feature for Plus members was limited to 7 questions only - had to make a workaround for it. It would also be nice to have a multiple list with ranking option type of question. As for the UI, its good but I think it could be better. Overall, I am satisfied with SoGoSurvey and I'll be more than happy to recommend it to my researcher friends or even at work. Saved me a lot of time . I like a lot the export feature for Excell. Pros This tool helped me a lot doing my dissertation's research. It allowed me to collect the required data in a simple and practical way. The product is in general very easy and simple to use compared to other products in the market. The integration into my study process was smooth and fast-forward. I highly recommend it. Cons The things i liked the least aren't critical in my opinion. Namely, the limitation of the number and ordering of the questions. Other than that, there were little bugs in the software which didn't impact much the use of it.
