We started out by trying to build this simple survey in SurveyMonkey, but kept running into issues where they required us to buy more expensive plans. SoGoSurvey on the other hand had all those features available in the free and trial level, and then we found out about their discounted pricing for education, non-profits, etc. All the features, easy to use interface and meaningful pricing sealed the deal. Cons We're just getting started with the software, and so far, no issues. It was quick, simple, clean lined which we have found customers to be more responsive to. I would recommend if you need something easy, simple, and fast! Pros I liked that it was simple and customizable. We needed something that was clean line, easy to use, to survey our guest at our new location. This software accomplished just that. We were able to have multiple ages easily access this and use it. Cons I wish that you could add more to the overall design of the software and the surveys. For the project we needed this for, we need super simple and it accomplished that. I think if I would use it in future I would like to see it spruced up some. There are certainly question types I would like to see but don't have access to, but apart from that, it is easy to use and does exactly what I need, so I would recommend it to any non-profit or those looking to create surveys. Our company had been struggling to design a thorough survey and SoGo solved our problem. There was always a quick and clear response to any question asked. The platform is extremely user friendly, customizable, and offers great functions for data collection and analysis. We were very impressed with the ease and ability to track survey respondents and results once live. The multi-language tools made it really convenient to gather information in several languages while still having all the data compiled in one place. Pros It is very user friendly and easy to set up. There is a wide variety of question types you can choose from when creating a survey. Cons There are a few glitches that I have experienced periodically. But I think the pros of the software outweighs the cons for my organization. Used the software for: ### "Perfect for Academic Research and Correlation Studies" January 31, 2017 5.0 I am currently working on a research project using SoGoSurvey. I am working on my Masters in Music Education and my research involves studying the early music experiences of people and whether this has an impact on their music experience as adults. My research involves correIlation survey data and I have found SoGoSurvey to be perfect to design my study to allow for this type of research and analysis. I have tried several other platforms and have not been satisfied with them - either the price point is way too high or it's free but there are not enough features for what I need. I love that with SoGo you can just drag and drop the type of question, reorder them, and edit them at any time. They had every option I needed to design my survey and more. I'm using a combination of single answer, multiple answer, open-ended, and rated survey questions and I have loved how easy it has been to design these. You can do it really quickly and I am also impressed with how professional the interface is. I think it is a really good survey tool that I would recommend to my fellow friends. I will use it for my bachelor thesis to investigate ways on how to cooperate as an organization most effectively. Pros I really liked the user-friendly interface and the feature to export your data, when you are done with your survey. What is also a plus, is that even the basic version includes the features such as question logic and many other question types to make the survey custom to your needs. No other survey tool offers this much in their free version, as SoGoSurvey does. You can do unlimited questions and create unlimited surveys. I am happy to become part of this community. Cons Actually there are no improvement points for SoGoSurvey. An explanation to what is meant with 200 respondents/year for the basic version would be nice. I do semi-monthly surveys to a panel and was able to continue the schedule without interruption. Pros The price and the ability to view all questions at once (scrolling) . Also the display question options. . Cons No way to temporarily suspend "Must answer" options when previewing the survey. Some respondents have had trouble seeing the survey on Android devices. Other cost efficient solutions, like Google Forms, offer less functionalities and require survey participants to follow external links. User Experience is much better with embedded surveys. Cons Activating a student account could be smoother.
