TidyHQ allows us to achieve this. Pros I didn't set up our group's TidyHQ page but I believe it's either free or relatively inexpensive in terms of cost so this is a plus in itself. The layout is clean and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles that make it look complicated. It allows our non-profit group to share events and maintain members' records. Cons I noticed that there are a lot of duplicate emails of members. I'm not sure if the system has a function to encourage or help the cleaning up of duplicate records. Review Source DH Duncan H. Pros Fantastic database setup for different member categories. Easy to set up events and organize tickets Easy access for committee members and peace of mind that info is not sitting on 1 computer. We can also invoice our sponsors and its all in one place Cons Not always easy to maneuver around the system and have found it difficult to produce a website live with our domain as I don't understand it all. Don't understand the reports yet either. Reason for choosing TidyHQ It was promoted by our local council who was using the system for their sporting facility and they gave it a great review. Pros The software is easy to use - we have multiple administrators that don't have much problem creating and editing events. We rarely encounter problems faced by the user too. Additionally, it helps us keep track of data and contact our members easily. Cons They raised their prices substantially since last year. I have raised the question about their transaction fees, because they also seem somewhat inconsistent, and they failed to provide me a concrete answer to why this is. Review Source DG Derek G. All the budgets and reports are made up for me. Its great to just read from this app when in a meeting. It shows who still owes money and also who we owe aswell which is a timesaver for me. I could not do it without thq. Cons Not much. Honestly, there isn't alot that I can fault with this system. It has saved me alot of hours of adding and compiling. Our members love finally being able to pay via credit card. Our committee loves we can see each members status at the click of a button, and the online meetings. Pros It has streamlined our membership and bring our finances into the digital world. I love how we can bulk send invoices for term fees to a select group. Cons There really isn't anything I don't like except that I cannot put members in the members section, because our members pay in cash or by bank transfer to our account and not through the TidyClub payment system. You can manually add Members through the 'Add Membership' section where you can mark them as having paid via Cash, Cheque, Bank Transfer etc. (no fees are incurred either). May 12, 2018 4.0 Pros It provides a great interface with memberss, making it so much easier to organise and sell tickets for functions. It also keeps track of memberships well and interfaces with the bank almost seamlessly. Cons I think it was to do with how we set it up but it was possible to change transactions without all the consequent reporting and financial requirements being met, and producing a meaningless "balance". May 11, 2018 4.0 Easier management of merchandise and membership sales. Easy and useful website. Pros It is very easy to have multiple people manage things at the same time, and easy to track changes and monitor what other people are doing. Cons Price is steep. We were very confident with moving to a paid plan until the price increase and eventually we decided not to, although we recognise that our use of the platform is limited by this.
