Pros The software is reasonably simple to use and, as we are a volunteer group, it is free! Cons It is not clear on the first page where to click in order to get into the booking process. Great for planning tasks to be completed and assigning these. Cons Currently limited to one hundred email contacts. Pros OGA is a not-for-profit sporting association. It uses TidyHQ for communications to and from its 35 -40 members, storing documents and recording financial data. TidyHQ provides these basic functions in a cost-effective way. Cons TidyHQ seems a bit clunky in the ease of forming email groups. It is frustrating having a monthly limit on emails when it considers each recipient of a group email to be in the counting of the monthly usage. Review Source CW Cooper W. Our organization is a 49-piece musical ensemble, and our business requires that we be able to share mp3 files with other members. The current size limit requires us to send emails outside of TidyHQ, which is contrary to the purpose of using the site in the first place. PLEASE increase the attachment allowance to a size that is useful! 10MB in this day and age is pretty much useless except for sending text files and PDF's, and that information is more easily sent in the body of an email anyway. We increased attachments to 25Mb on the paid plans but that's as far as we can push it and falls into line with Gmail etc. I'd then point to our Storage solution or even Dropbox to just post links to the MP3's. The treasurers information can be easily seen along with member details and club meeting minutes. Cons We have run a few events with non members paying an entry fee. Webmaster Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Good to have a club management and web site all in a single package" May 11, 2018 5.0 Our club can go there to find out what is happening, as with any reputable web page, and the site also handles club administration, membership data, and finances too. Pros It does both categories well -- manages club dues, membership statuses, club finances (handled by our Treasurer), and club "web presence" tasks like promotion, information, events (handled by our Webmaster). Reasonably good tools accessible from the Dashboard. Cons Only one Page per Menu Item -- wish we had ability of a user to select a particular page via drowdown menu or something like that. Significant learning curve for some functions, but once learned it makes sense. Not well suited for storing a photo gallery with more than a small number of photos, as all links have to be selected individually per title/thumbnail, which takes forever (but we store our photos on Flickr and link them from the web page). Cons Email is a bit difficult to use. It can get a bit annoying that we have to enter a contact before sending someone an email. Also - the ability to customise webpages is quite limited. Pros It's well-built and being actively developed. Existing features are clearly thought out and very useful. Document storage is basic but serviceable. Online selling is a bonus! The option to use a custom domain name for URL and email is impressive. Cons Documents can't be renamed once uploaded (you have to rename locally and upload again). Reason for choosing TidyHQ TidyHQ was most aligned to our requirements and a clear choice. iMIS was ridiculously expensive and Wild Apricot seemed to be geared more at membership management. Appreciate the professional look for my clients when they book! Cons The website is glitchy and hard to select the box I want to write in when I set up events . Can be difficult to re arrange ticket order , change details of ticket or select the right people to send too. Something in the page is tricky to get it to click where and when I need it to. We once had forum functionality but folks stopped using it as Facebook and LinkedIn became more prevalent. People are using our Pages App as an intranet or Wiki which you might find useful?
