October 13, 2014 5.0 I was a little bit skeptical about using the service at first because my package volume varies. However, I went through a demo on the phone and I was blown away with how easy it was to use, how fast everything ran and how well it integrated with multiple e-commerce platforms. It's really easy to print a bunch of shipping labels at once and the system automatically updates the tracking info and sends emails to your customers with tracking numbers. Plus, I saved the equivalent of my first month of fees in less than a week! Some packing labels you print won't yield a discount - first class domestic is a prime example of this. But you'll save a ton in priority mail packages and international shipping. I saved $8 on a package the other day!! During my first month, I saved over ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. And as my volume grows, that number will only increase. Buying postage at ShippingEasy is way easier than stamps.com. I love, love, love ShippingEasy and I will be here for a looong time! Here's a quick TIP: buy your postage using a credit card that gives you cash back. It's like free money! You absolutely cannot lose with this program. Pros The support staff was support driven and sales oriented. He listens, accepts faults moves past them and offers solutions. To answer the question, the software's primary "pro" is it's ability to save time in shipping as well as data flow between my software and itself. The added features like mass email is outstanding... This pretty much cemented my account with shippingeasy. This just simplifies my life and saves my company money. I love it and that's rare for me to say about.... Software. Cons Moving from the orders page to the shipments page is odd. When I create a shipment on and individual order, I should be able to immediately setup my label to printed. Your plug-in for wordpress/woocommerce did not initially work on my server. I was served the error: Warning: in\_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/.../.../.../class-wc-shippingeasy-integration.php on line 21 I fixed this error myself by commenting out the line and reported it to customer support in an effort to help you guys out... No luck, I was brushed off.. And that was even after pointing out that I am my own webhost and willing to modify my Apache/PHP environment to match your requirements. So, I am running your software with my fix in it... So that's a "Con"... You guys should be a little bit more open with people. Pros My two partner and I have been using ShippingEasy for quiet a while now for our online store and it has been of great service so far. Manage orders, shipping label, tracking and everything else you can think of is all in one place. The application itself is very easy to you, as we got the hang of it within a few hours of researching the different features. Cons Can't think of many cons at this time, fortunately. Since switching to shippingeasy the entire process has streamlined and in addition to fixing the above mentioned problems shippingeasy also has great reports on items shipped. Pros Simple to use, can see multiple shipping options with a couple clicks, Stores customer package sizes/weights for super easy repetitive shipping Cons Limits your shipping insurance options.... and their insurance partner which is always the default option makes claims hard and will threaten you with termination if you actually put in multiple claims close together. Customer service has always been available. Just today I had an issue that was completely frustrating and causing my shipping business to come to a stop. I used to have to manually generate a shipping label, cutting and pasting into paypal ship now, the order #, the customer address, I had to manually calculate the weight...it was tedious, I actually cringed when I got new orders, not good if you are running a business. A friend said I could purchase shipping software to do that, but none of the apps could be customized to automatically send a shipping label to a customer for them to use to SHIP TO ME. Then I tried ShippingEasy, oh my gosh they had a work around for me! Now, with a few clicks my customers receive a shipping label, it has their order # on it, AND it sends them an email! All with a couple clicks! So happy! Now I am happy to get as many orders as I can. Cons I have no complaints. This software does what it is supposed to do, make my life easier. This has been a life saver and likely added years back to my life. The idea of how I was managing my inventory before ShippingEasy makes me want to invent a time machine so I could have started using them from the beginning. Cons Sometimes getting everything to work with a new sales channel and sync with existing inventory can be a little tricky, but once it's it setup, it's smooth sailing. Pros ShippingEasy is a go-to platform if you want to reduce the headache of going on different shipping portals for various orders. It integrates labels, tracking and selecting shipping carrier on one simple page and cuts time and effort in navigating different sites. I can't say enough good things about the people at ShippingEasy. A perfect 10 and the software is great too. They support DHL Ecommerce which allows me to ship my 4 oz packages anywhere in the world for just $5.40 avg. It's nice to be able to say Free Shipping Anywhere in the World. Excellent support. Highly recommended. Pros Shipping Easy is a great shipping tool. Easy to install and set up. Easy to use and functionally rich. When I had a problem I could easily get a live, native English speaking guru on the phone and resolve issues easily. There was very little I did not like about shipping easy. And I got shipping discounts too as they pass on volume discounts. Highly recommend. Cons I had issues from time to time with Connect Easy, their direct to printer label printing program. I had to make three calls to figure out items such as mapping fields??? Manual upload of CSV files??? I'm able to manually edit my orders now (I have less than 10). Will I have to go through this every time I have special requests? Pros The ability to custom create labels and boxes is amazing. I also like the ability to cancel and refund the funds for editing or cancelling labels immediately. The full list of features is deep and can make my shipping tasks easier, once I am able to delve further into the list of features. Which leads me to the next topic: Cons Shipping Easy is burdensome and difficult to navigate. The features are extremely technical and require a crash course to navigate. I do realize the shipping world is chock filled with options from different carriers, but Shipping Easy does its customers no favors by also overwhelming the client with SO MANY OPTIONS. Luckily, I am very proficient in systems navigation, yet I felt myself becoming frustrated by the sheer complexity of Shipping Easy's software. My CSRs calm, collected, the gentle and soothing voice was essential in keeping me centered, focused and after an extensive amount of time on the phone, we were able to fix the issue! Thank you for your outstanding interpersonal customer service skills, your empathy, and steadfast and even keel temperament in dealing with frustrated clients and helping us cross the finish line. Pros Simple layout makes it easy to use. Flexible with useful options. Information can easily be edited and corrected between original input and final payment - this especially useful when formatting address details for international shipments. Always MUCH easier to input and operate than the websites at USPS and Canada Post Cons Only slight nuisance factor is the layout when entering a name and then having to insert the email address before the mailing address- so two "copy & paste" motions are needed at input. One efficiency suggestion would be for the zip code/postal code to be entered first and using software such as "address doctor" to confirm and verify the standard street address. We don't currently use any of the integrations; however, I know they are quite a few. We currently use the Quick Ship all day every day. It takes seconds to process a shipment and print a label. Adding funds to your account is instant. We have even had to ask for a refund on un-used labels. And the refunds are process relatively quickly with no issues. We looked into many different platforms and I am happy we chose this one. Cons I don't have a single con. I have easily contacted Shipping Easy with any issues. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Director of Operations Retail Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "A Great Tool to Manage All Shipping Needs (Especially for Online Sellers)" April 5, 2019 5.0 We sell a lot of products online, and this allows us to order and print shipping labels in large batches, instead of individually (which is what eBay's software would make you do if you didn't ave access to an outside shipping platform like this). Due to this, shipping for many items can be completed in just a click or two, and then all the labels print out automatically. I don't know what I would do without it. Pros I was able to link my commercial FedEx and UPS accounts with it, so I could easily access my discounted shipping rates within the program. Additionally, it also transferred my discounted USPS rates from eBay, so I had access to those as well. Was very user-friendly in terms of designing and editing shipping label format and layout, which allowed me to customize my shipping labels (and packing invoices) to my liking. Also, it automatically uploaded my tracking info to eBay, so I didn't have to do that manually. Cons I don't have much in the way of cons, honestly. I wish it were cheaper (or free), of course. But, for what it offers, it's absolutely worth it. I have had one or two occasions where it showed a batch of shipping labels as printed, when they hadn't, but it's rare and hasn't caused any problems. Overall, I'm satisfied. Cons I would love to be able to track sales data for each product. That is the only feature missing that I used to have when I tracked my inventory through StitchLabs. Now the only way for me to see sales data for a product is to look it up on all 3 of my storefronts. Only a platform change with another product caused us to leave. Sad to go! Pros Integration with our platform was a snap. The whole program is easy to use. Our most tech-challenged employee was able to use the program after a few quick lessons. Bonus! Cons Had to upgrade to get the multiple package feature, but that's OK. It's not set up to ship Dangerous Goods or International, but most software isn't. We just happen to sell a lot of perfume!
