June 2, 2016 5.0 Get a receipt and take a photo, then the software does OCR and completes the expense as best it can. It usually does this very well. Currency conversions are handled well, and reconciliation with CC statements is a time saver. Expenses can also be added by forwarding emails, and this is also very good. The only con for me as approver is that for every receipt I receive an email. Will be nice if an employee can collect his receipts and then send it as 1 email with all receipts included.. This way I don't lose any receipts again, and I don't have to type all of my expenses in an excel sheet. I love the fact that you can go online or on the app (although I can't add my multiple destinations in one day on the app but I'm sure it will come-r even better a partnership with Waze so Xpenditure would automatically add the kms to my expenses?). There could be some room for improvement on making it even easier to use, but it is the best I've found to date for sure for everyone in my business or line of work. Pros It centralizes all of your expenses easily and quickly Cons I would like to see it simplified to make it even easier for the user to scan their receipts and easily account for it. Operations Used the software for: ### "User friendly and time saver" September 17, 2013 4.0 Xpenditure really understands the pain of expense management, but it also takes away this pain by a streamlined proces of digitizing receipts with smartphone apps and reporting towards my accountant without any difficulties. Would like to see more features like pie charts or fix extracting data to upload faster. Pros Generating reports are a breeze Cons Pie charts would be a nice feature to add to see what a person is spending per category. It would be easier to read. When taking a picture and uploading multiple receipts it takes forever to extract data. Wish you can generate multiple projects for 1 report. Cons There are still glitches in the system and changes happening to fix them. I like that there are changes being made based on customer feedback, however you get adjusted to one way of doing things and then abruptly there's an update. Pros Ease of use Cons The gst component is based on the total invoice amount but at times, the invoice has some items that are not gst inclusive.
