December 1, 2025 5.0 My overall experience has been completely positive & this is very up to date & efficient software. It is also extremely user friendly & easy to navigate online or in the app. My 80 year old mom uses my charts online on a regular basis as well & she normally gets frustrated & gives up easily when learning new technically things. Pros I love having all my medical information in one place & the fact that it is always up to date. I appreciate not having to wait for results from tests to hear from my PCPP or another medical provider such as urgent care visits. I like the idea of being able to view my protected health information myself rather than the possibility of my personal medical results being relayed to me over the phone by someone whom I've possibly never even met. I'm also able to confirm, cancel & schedule appoints via my charts online which saves me a lot of phone calls & wait times trying to speak to a scheduler. Cons I do sometimes worry about someone else being to access my protected health information in the event there is a security breech of some kind. However so far I have felt this is a safe space to receive my medical information confidentially as there's been no issues & everything is password protected. Review Source JR Jacqueline R. I'm sorry to see that it seems to be wide spread Medical staff keeps trying to force you into it despite the fact that it's not patient friendly My Chart staff could care less about patient experience Pros In theory having an on line system for patients to be able to review their medical information is a good idea but My Chart leaves a lot to be desired in regard to patient experience Cons As a patient I feel that this system has been dumbed down and isn't patient friendly. I recently had 24 tests done and to see them I have to open 24 separate pages and scroll down the page to see the results. There is no way for me to mark the tests that I want to speak to my doctor about or to easily return to and review. The My Chart staff isn't very helpful and they are condescending. It's easy to switch back and forth, keep track of billing, and make sure that all of my doctors are on the same page. I also get test results as soon as they are available and I'm able to have a more active hand in my medical reality. Pros I can keep all of my appointments (and the appointments of my kids) all in one place. Everything about my medical situation is then kept in MyChart so all of my doctors know what is happening. But if I am away or in a certain city for awhile and need help, my records have spoken for themselves. I am a patient and can get info to others fast or even downbload, print, show my own electronic chart records which facilitate the process much faster. Pros Good EHR transmission and communication tool for me when traveling or needing info to be sent in advance or on the spot with my chiropractic health in this particular app usage. Cons I like more integrated systems that aren't specialist specific. I also like the "appointment" option it reminds you of the upcoming visit. I can easily connect and schedule appointments with my PCP. Cons It would be nice to read the actual scanned copy of the lab results. Overall, I think it could use some updating. Because prioritizing medical care feels like a chore already, it would be nice to have access to a program that was a breeze and more aesthetically pleasing. Pros I like that I don't have to call each time I need access to my medical info or to communicate with my doctor. Handy tool for a world where everything is online. Cons It just feels a little dated. Not always easy to find exactly what I am looking for. Dropdown menus feel a little strange when using them.
