June 10, 2019 5.0 We initially decided to go with Cake because of the OKR functionality that it has. I was skeptical with what they could offer in addition but was pleasantly surprised! The team at CakeHR are so helpful and amazing and we couldn't be happier that we made the investment to go with them! Pros Love that it is so easy to use, it integrates with outlook and slack, there is an app for your phone, and there are employee and manager self serve portals. Cons Nothing so far! Everything has worked well. Being a start up, we have to design processes from scratch and the recipes and workflows have made it easy to get things up and running quickly. August 16, 2017 5.0 Pros I like the ease of use and the range of information that is supplied in the reports. The fact that the employee can customise when they will receive their questionnaire is also very helpful. Cons I think that the software can be used by employees as a venting room. Often negative comments are made for the sake of making a negative comment, and once we reply to assess where we can help, the employee hides and does not engage further. I think there should be more encouragement within the answers to suggest solutions to resolve issues rather than just vent about them. It allows keeping together not only the HR/organisational things but accounting and reimbursement as well. Cons Some features can be added: e.g. to sort out the documents, search within the documents uploaded. Onboarding and offboarding tools do not offer many options, but as a tool are very useful. Chief Financial Officer Internet Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "A nice and easy to use product" December 25, 2017 4.0 Pros \-Super easy to use -Nice features -Good integration options with external tools -Great options (example, use of Assets and can track who is using what) -Customizable to a required level Cons \-Reporting could be better (team wise leave utilization reports for example) with a lot more options -For teams based in multiple locations, the calendar could not be set differently (for example in the Middle East where the weekend is Fri / Sat where as in an Asian Country it would be Sat / Sun. -The options of directory, org charts and teams could be shown when you keep the cursor on "Company" for quick access rather than having to go in to "Company" first (an additional click!) We're all about making your business and employees more efficient so having features such as Asset Management really do help even if you never knew you needed it! We're about to release an employee scheduling tool that will allow you and your employees to view the correct weekend days and working days throughout the company. Literally got setup in a few minutes and our team were submitting their holiday requests in no time. Super simple stuff and gives us exactly what we need to stay organised. Pros There's no one feature that stands out, I think the whole package deserves credit. It just works and works well. Cons I'd like to see a better mobile optimised version of the site. However, the process of authorising leave on a mobile via the email alerts works a treat. We have since moved to another product. Pros I really liked the lean interface, which was easy to navigate and perform the operations you had to. I used it from an employee perspective, mostly to schedule my time off. April 20, 2018 4.0 Pros We liked the ability to create many time off policies, the granular control of assigning different time off policies for different employees and who can approve whose time off. Cons Documents management could be way better. For starters, we would like the ability to rename files and not have their entire file names listed out. It would be great to be able to sort them into folders. And for employees to be notified of any file uploads. It really ought to behave more like a proper bulletin board and not be an afterthought.
