Pros: I love how clear the pricing structure is and the value you get for your dollar. Compared to many of the other ATS systems we reviewed, you get the greatest numbers of features for what you're paying for. We appreciate that it posts to 17 job boards, you have unlimited posts and users, and how intuitive the interface is!

Cons: Like any new software, there is a learning curve. However, the Jazz HR team is very helpful overcoming any obstacle.

Pros: What I like most about JazzHR is that it is simple to use and feature-packed. I can use it myself or invite clients to join a hiring team and use it with me. It have access to lots of free job boards as well as paid postings on all of the most popular paid boards. It works as a publisher, an ATS, an automation platform, a CRM, and more. The best part is that it is extremely affordable for all that it provides.

Cons: What I like least about JazzHR is that, because I already have a full-featured automation platform, several of its services are redundant. However, I have found that I can give my clients who do not have their own automation and can't afford to pay for mine, access to these features for a minimal price.

Overall: I was able to post job ads to multiple paid and free job boards, track applicants, notify hiring team members, and further collaborate with my clients regarding their recruiting needs.

Pros: It has the feature for referral tracking, as well as organized workflows and integration to Aurico and Salesforce.

Cons: Can't merge two candidate profiles and is not mobile friendly. Workflows are not that too organized and career website where the job postings aren't that pleasing to look at.

Overall: Made our recruiting tasks more efficient and organized!

Pros: Very clean and practical in use. Havent come across a lot of problems while using the software and it works like a charm

Cons: I havent come across a lot of serious problems while using the software but sometimes it freezes for a bit, but never for too long

A good HR and onboarding resource for small companies without a dedicated HR manager role.

Pros: This software is affordable and well matched for small to medium sized companies. It provides a great HR knowledge base and resource for those companies without a dedicated HR manager.

Cons: Jazz did not meet our integration needs. While it provides sound HR conductivity it falls short on the onboarding process. Document management is not highly utilized in this software which is often an important business need.

Comments: Great value

Pros: Cost/Value. Very affordable. Includes unlimited users. It' very easy to use. Great Support. Interacts very well will all job ad sites, etc.

Cons: Unable to import directly from excel. Requires one record at a time from prior ATS. New records generate with ease.

JazzHR is good for small business who are looking to boost their teams. Helps recruiting processes.

Pros: Saves us time and is an easy streamlining resource to have. Makes looking at resumes easier and places them in an organized fashion.

Cons: Needs to be more training programs for first time users. It has a lot of options that are hard to learn along with the frequent system updates.

Pros: Very easy to use and reasonably priced. You have the ability to create cutomized features for job postings on various no cost platforms with the ability to track applicant sources.

Cons: You have to update each job posting daily and since we are a global search firm it would be very helpful to be able to update a number of the same job postings all at one time.

Comments: A superb hr hiring tool.

Pros: The jazzhr program was a definite time saving and streamlined resource to have. Navigation is the biggest asset to be able to get to resumes and respond in a organized fashion.

Cons: I would like to see more training programs tailored to different options as the system is updated and be notified of changes.

Comments: Great application and open platform to navigate.

Pros: This is a definite all in one software for hiring managers. It keeps everything you need for applicants in one place and they really strive to help you set up and troubleshoot.

Cons: I couldn¿t list a con, as long as they continue to provide the same customer service and updating webinars.

Comments: JazzHR is a great product and for the price point you cannot beat it!

Pros: For the money, you cannot beat JazzHR. Its an affordable option and has solves a lot of our recruiting admin needs. We love being able to send mass emails to candidates and sort them by the different jobs we have

Cons: We have two separate locations that we recruit for and we could not integrate the two together. We had to create two separate accounts so we constantly are logging off and back in under the different accounts.

Jazz has been wonderful!!

Pros: Post to 10 free job boards!! And can upgrade if needed. They make the application process seamless and integrate with our website.

Cons: Add on features add on costs, it seems like no upgrades with current versions. I have nothing else negative to say.

Pros: We got very qualified candidates through JazzHR. Their sales team was so helpful and literally read through our job posting including what questions we were asking like three times to make sure it was optimized! The user interface is very intuitive.

Cons: The organization of the interview templates can be frustrating - you can't easily delete interview templates that have been used.

Pros: i like that you can send messages and tag people who are admins to discuss candidates
being able to vote up or down a candidate has been really helpful when including hiring managers in the hiring process

Cons: searches are difficult as it doesn't always go back to the search page when you click on a candidate sometimes it will make me restart the search all over again

Very easy to use and understand - both from the manager point of view and Admin point of view

Pros: The program is very easy to use. The application is user friendly, efficient, great layout, and easy to download/print candidate resumes.

Cons: The only con I can think of is I wish there was a better way to quickly blend or mesh candidates who apply for multiple open positions.

Customer service personnel was very professional and wanted to get to the bottom of the issue as much as I did. Thank you

Pros: It is easy to use so far I am a new user. However I like the simplicity and one click approach to the software.

Cons: nothing yet, as long as you continue to employee knowledge customer service personnel. I'm not sure if Indeed and Zip and other job boards are negotiated rates.

Pros: Complete customization for different workflows in hiring. Tagging others in notes. Customizable reporting. Sync's with google calendar. Very easy to use. I like that you can rate candidates and prioritize recruiting.

Cons: I wish there was a way to better sort duplicates, excited for the Zip Release for increased user functionality. I would like a way to better create a unified call list versus each specific job. It would also be great if you could better sort potential duplicate candidates versus manually searching and adjusting it.

Overall: Having 1 system for recruiting and simplifying the hiring process.

Pros: I'm very impressed with JazzHR. So far it has been able to handle everything I need and then some. This provides the best integration with Indeed and has the most integration with existing job boards.

Cons: I would like more visual dashboard with charts and graphs. I would also like to be able to Advertise my entire job board using custom sources rather than having to do it job by job. I would also like the option to create multiple companies as I currently recruiting for two different brands.

Quick initial reply and consistent updates with the issue I experienced!

Pros: It's got a user friendly interface and makes it easy to manage workflows and candidates for a great recruiting experience.

Cons: I manage accounts for a few different clients, and the fact that you can't move candidates easily from one account to the other is a bit frustrating.

Pros: It's a very easy and friendly software to use. At begging I was worried how complex would be to train 30 Hiring Managers, but JazzHR also has an Onboarding Assistant with a Hiring Manager Training.

Cons: Users management and internal communication through the software. We should have more freedom to set up privileges per user.

Overall: Time-saving, Tracking applicants, Tracking Interview Experiences, and Reports that help us to make decisions. I can wait for you guys have a Survey tool for Employers!

Pros: -The program is easy to use and easy to learn
-Many of the features are intuitive, like being able to drag and drop the ordering of questions in the applications
-Good integration with job boards

Cons: I feel like there are a lot of missing features that the program should have:
-Be able to hide jobs (we have a lot of old jobs that we still want to keep, but we don't need to see them constantly)
- Be able to select a default view (for example, always have it show Open Jobs when I go to the site rather than having to select that view
-Be able to pull PPC report by yourself, rather than having to contact support every time you want it
-Be able to set high priority jobs so they pop up to the top of your list
-Allow the search tool to search for similar names (example: searching "Melnaie" would also show "Melanie")
-Have a way to combine metrics for multiple postings (for example, we will often post a position several times before it is filled. It would be great to select multiple postings and then have it combine total applicants, total screened, total interviewed, etc. for purposes of reporting)

Jazz has been very flexible to our frequently fluctuating positions and job markets.

Pros: -Customer Services is fantastic. I have not had a negative experience with any of their reps (over phone, email, chat, voicemail follow up, etc.). They hire great people who are doing a marvelous job.
-The ability to edit the functionality of the system to what we need is perfect for our fast moving and growing company's hiring needs.
-Very good pricing.

Cons: -Some functionality still needs to be worked on to allow for better reporting, edit ability of workflows, changes to interview structures/questions, etc..

Pros: I like that it is easy to navigate and easy to use. I love that it posts to so many websites at once. Also, the fact that everything is in one place and you can see the step they are at.

Pros: Ease of use, ability to capture all information under the applicant, ability to discuss applicant with hiring manager by tagging them in the conversation are some of the pros with this software. Visually, it shows you at a glance where the candidate is at in the pipeline. Setting up your templates and workflow to customize your company's needs was easy to do. The bulk action feature is also a plus when sending out correspondence to applicants. Customer support is always helpful.

Overall: Ease of tracking applicants from application to hire, bulk action features saves time when sending out correspondence; set up and customizing the system to meet your company's needs was easy to do. JAZZ is always taking customer feedback and improving the system based on that feedback.

Jazz HR has brought many positive attributes to our company.

Pros: The ability to save time, accessibility to different candidates, and how the program keeps everything organized.

Cons: The duplicate candidates. Wish there was a way to keep the same candidate from applying for the same job at the same company. This takes time to have to merge their files.

Overall: The organization of the candidates makes them very accessible. This saves time looking for a candidate.

Pros: How you can organize, rate, communicate with candidates on a daily basis. I love adding candidates to other jobs, my watchlist, and even different job categories.

Cons: Searching for candidates using keys words. It doesn't pull up what is needed. Also you have to use the candidates full spelling of their first and/or last name otherwise it can't find anyone.

Overall: Communication and organization of candidates.

Pros: One doesn't need a tutorial on how to use the tools on the dashboard. It is quite easy to use with a friendly User Interface.

Cons: The templates are too empty. I don't want to have to think too hard on what to fill in. They should create templates for us to choose from or modify alittle to suit the purpose in order to save time.
Afterall, the whole drift is to save time to allow one focus on something else.

Overall: Quite alot but will list a few.
It allowed me monitor how many applications I had for the job posted.
The Analytics is quite OK

Pros: Easy to understand and use. Candidate's names could be easily sorted out, and offered from a bulk amount of candidates

Cons: Documents upload shows error sometimes. Resume upload is not possible hence we can't proceed the offer due to document upload error, hence work is left pending.

Overall: its user friendly software.

Cons: What I like the least about this software is Not being able to automatically send an email with an attachment.

Pros: We have had this product for around 4 months and so far we love it. The ease of use in posting jobs and promoting them onto the job boards is extremely simple. I have found that it is very easy to communicate with my hiring managers on the progression of the candidates. For what we are using this program for, it does what we need it to do.

Cons: If I am required to say a con, I don't like that I am limited to how much I can copy and paste into a job posting. Other than that, so far, we really like this product!

Overall: Too many to list.

The tool has exceeded all of our expectations. The customer service is extraordinary.

Pros: The fact that 17 job boards are included in our package. It's so great that the tool is so useful and don't have dozens of things I need to pay more for. It's great to pay one price and basically get everything I need to be successful.

Cons: I wish the reporting tools and search engine were a little more dynamic. For example when I type several letters of a persons name the search engine doesn't always find candidates unless I spell the entire name. The reporting tools are a bit limited, but that's okay. I can download to a csv and then do the data manipulation I need in Excel.

Pros: The price is good for a mediocre ATS that does the basics well at keeping candidates and jobs organized. The email templates are fully functional. Candidate profiles are pretty well organized, except across jobs. Job cloning and posting process is pretty smooth.
It operates fast and rarely has technical issues. They have made some improvements based upon our suggestions, but it took a long time and was like pulling teeth to see any progress.

Cons: Candidate notes/comments/discussion cannot be seen across different jobs or even instances of jobs.
Customer and candidate support costs extra to interact via phone, otherwise only internet form submission is required to resolve issues.
Overpromised and underdelivered features, functionality, and continuous development speed.
Not very customizable. Poorly designed. New and updated features are poorly beta-tested before release and not well thought out from a user perspective.
Changes to Workflow templates, stages, and disposition reasons cannot easily be cloned across all of them at once, meaning you need to edit many different templates individually.
Task automation features exist, but are poorly designed sometimes.

Overall: It has helped us effectively hire record number of new employees. It keeps us well organized and does what an ATS is supposed to do relatively well.

Love the ease of use with Jazz! I can get any hiring manager up and running in MINUTES.

Pros: I love how easy Jazz is to navigate. I can get hiring managers up and running who have no experience with an applicant tracking system within minutes.

Pros: Ease of use - Jazz was very simple to adapt to. I think it's simple to pick up and was easy to learn with very little training. I found the tutorial easy enough to follow and picked it right it up.

Cons: I do find it difficult to search for jobs, would be nice if you could sort alphabetically. The Dashboard only includes job that I have posted, and since I have just come on board to a new firm, I am also working on jobs that others have posted, so it's difficult to keep scrolling from page to page to find the right job req.

Great way to track applicants and to post jobs!

Pros: Ease of use. Easy to fill out and complete the forms. They also tell you if you've met all requirements for the free job sites out on the web.

Cons: It could be a bit more intuitive. It does get easier as you play with the system. I would recommend this to any other small business out there.

Pros: I like creating workflows specific to a position or set of positions and the feature to delay emails being sent.

Cons: I wish there were a way to track changes for example, when a hiring team member rates a candidate, I would like to see who made the rating and have the ability for all team members to rate the candidate (referring to the star rating system).

Overall: Streamlined hiring processes, ability to post to several job boards easily, setting up of hiring teams and workflows specific to a position or set of positions. Wish the software had more abilities to intergrate with other vendor software tools, i.e. digitial interviews (HireVue) and assessment tools (ZeroRisk).

JazzHR is amazing. Excellent support and the improvements every year continues to impress me!

Pros: EVERYTHING! The best part was the integration with LinkedIn. I have all of my users fully trained and we use JazzHR to the best of our abilities. It allows me to streamline the recruiting and hiring process.

Cons: I wish I was able to hire my employees and have this software link to my payroll system. This way the full life cycle of the candidate to employee is housed in one spot.

It's easy to implement and get off the ground quickly!

Pros: Love that it's easy to use and figure out without too much effort. Basically we paid and launched it within minutes. In this entrepreneurial high growth company, it's a great tool for our hiring needs.

Like receiving regular updates about new/improved system features.

Cons: Duplicate candidates - it's a hassle to review, merge duplicated candidates. Wish candidates could create one profile and use variations of it to submit applications.

The accompanying "how to videos" are long. It would be great if they were in bite-size chunks.

Overall: Easy to implement and use! Have been able to hit the ground running.

JazzHR gives me all the functionality I need without being too complicated.

Pros: It is visually appealing. I like how clean the screens are (never cluttered with too many words or options). I love that I can customize our workflows, do keyword searches, e-mail directly from the website, add team members, and can easily get support. I also love that it shows me when we get duplicate candidates, and what other positions they applied to. The ease of downloading candidates and moving them between jobs is also great.

Cons: It would be nice if the reporting function was more detailed and had a wider range of functionality. Reporting capabilities are good but could be better.

Overall: Easy to use, can invite hiring managers into the site. Can get e-mail notifications.

Pros: The dashboard is really straightforward and all of the features are easy to use. Really easy to reject someone or move them forward. Workflows are easy to set up and the whole implementation took less than one day (I did not migrate any data from the old system as we still have it as our CRM).

Cons: The only thing I wish they had was a mobile app just in case I can't get to my computer. Other than that, I am really happy with it!

Overall: Recruiting made easy!

Pros: how easy it is to use. Super user friendly and intuitive, so there is very little employee training needed

Cons: There are definitely still some updates needed. For example having to write out a new email each time rather than being able to attach a template email when you email out an offer letter or onboarding packet. It would also be nice if you had the option to turn off email notifications for specific hiring managers, rather than having to switch everyone to 'daily digest' emails.

Pros: What I like most about using JazzHR is having the ability to send emails to candidates. I do also like the option of integrating other platforms such as SparkHire

Cons: I wish it were easier to change default settings. (scheduling interview, scheduling phone interview buttons)

Pros: It is very user friendly for the students. They love it!! The flexible features has allowed our department to streamline processes which has increased efficiency. The integration feature is awesome.

Cons: I would like to have more flexibility with the reporting feature. At this time, there aren't any more improvements that I can suggest.

Cons: It's hard to think of one, but we wish the "Department" field showed a drop-down of currently used departments. This would prevent jobs for the same department being created with varying spellings or department titles.

Pros: Customer support and the value for the money are both exceptional. Added many features to our recruitment process that we didn't even think of using in the past.

Cons: There was definitely a bit of an initial learning curve, but support was very helpful with this and it didn't take long at all to get setup.

Pros: I love the look of JazzHR. It is very visually pleasing and allows for ease throughout its use. Very simple to move candidates through different parts of the pipeline. The interview guides are great and nice to have it stored in its own tab. The placement of resume and other documents on candidates profile is efficient and easy to access.

Cons: Reporting is a bit wonky and hard to customize/organize. I wish assessments could somehow be integrated into interview guides instead of having them be separate.

Overall: Organization and efficiency for candidate pipeline management, job postings and tracking, and referral tracking.

Pros: I was a newbie to any kind of Applicant Tracking System, their team sold me on JazzHR with their being available, and always friendly. This application is very user friendly for a newbie.

Cons: The ability to import bulk resumes from a folder verses individual files. There are some features and tools I have seen with other platforms I wish they had.

Overall: I now have the ability to perform just about all of my recruitment needs within one application. Their staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Always respond within a few hours.

Jazz has completely changed our hiring and on boarding process for the better.

Pros: I like that I can stay paperless, and keep everything organized without having to have a million paper files on each job posting that I have. It is also nice to be able to email candidates through the system so they do not have your direct email. I like that this systems also saves a lot of time for me, and I am able to schedule through the system and link right to address books and calanders.

Cons: Seems like the free jobs boards are not returning many candidates, and I do wish there was an option in Jazz to make general notes about the candidate instead of the pre-selected ones the drop down allows you to choose from.

Pros: I love the functionality options and how easy it is to setup. It's a great tool for hiring managers, recruiters, and applicants and candidates. Pros: Very intuitive. Easy to move candidates through the process. Customizable workflows. Automatic responses and questionnaires. Customer support is great.

Cons: Still figuring out how best to make the reports work best for our needs. Part of that is learning the software and making sure that we do what we need to have clean data on our end - closing jobs promptly, dispositioning people correctly, etc. It seems basic but perhaps basic is all we need once we clean a few things up.

Cons: Would like to be able to move a candidate to another job and be able to CARRY all the interviews from prior job over with them. SOmetimes, I am interviewing a candidate and in the middle of the iterview, we realize they might be better suited for another position we have open. I then have to add them to the other job and start a new interview all over again. Would be nice under the candidates profile if on the dropdown menu, where it says "add job" there could also be a "move to job" fucntion basically.
Also, many times when "Candidate May be a Duplicate" appears and you click on "view candidates," it shows a ton of candidates and none of them have the same name or even a name that's close. So not sure what the algorithm is on that.

Overall: Very easy to track through interview process. Love the discussion tab, it eliminates soooo many emails!

Fairly easy to use, nice functionality, nice organization of the process.

Pros: I like that you can move quickly through candidates and have them all in one place. It's easy to rate them.

Cons: 1) No ability to word search through cover letter text. 2) The response buttons to the candidate should be distinct and separate. I am a reviewer but don't want to actually contact the person accidentally. It's hard to tell if you are emailing/messaging the candidate or your work colleagues who might be helping you review applicants. I am scared to try out other functionalities bc I'm afraid I might accidentally send the candidate a rejection email.

Pros: It's very easy to navigate. Details are easily explained throughout the software and Customer Service is always there ready to answer any questions!

Cons: I wish on billing we received more information for instance the position that we were charged for advertising on indeed, linkedin, etc. I have to request a special report each month in order to charge back to the correct department the charges for advertising.

Pros: The organization and communication features. As a growing company, communication is always something we are working to improve. Being able to tag users and allow all of the hiring team members to leave their comments and check in on the status of applicants has been very helpful. Very user friendly and straightforward interface. There are many ways to automate processes that we are hoping to take advantage of soon as our internal processes become more defined.

Cons: Minor details such as not being able to archive old interview templates without losing candidate data, would like folders to organize past and current (active and filled) jobs to be able to find them easier, sometimes contact info is cut off on candidates profiles, etc.

Overall: Ease of organization and communication throughout the hiring and on-boarding process.

Pros: User friendly, has bells and whistles that are included in the standard package. In my previous position we used a very large ATS that had features we paid for but were not needed, where Jazz is perfect for our smaller size corporation. Price is right.

Cons: When I upload resumes, occasionally they do not format the correct information in the right spots. Easy fix to edit.

Pros: We use the workflows and auto emails and questionnaires. It works great for our needs. Like the fact that it will determine if a candidate is a duplicate.

Pros: I like drawing from multiple sites, able to send out our SOP's, Employee Handbook, Offer Letters, etc.

Cons: They Really Need to figure out a way to copy Indeed's ability to recognize prior applicants and to show every time that candidate has previously applied. I waste A Lot of time, go over applicants that Do Not Want a Job and only want unemployment welfare. After screen those out, I have to do the whole process again every time they apply...unless I simply memorize Everyone's name Every time they apply.

Pros: I think what I like most about JazzHR is the ease of use. Coming from a busy company I don't have a ton of time to really learn an intricate software and JazzHR has allowed me to use the full software with such an amount of ease. It makes my life so easy! It has completely changed our hiring process in a positive way. Before JazzHR we were getting swamped with candidates, with JazzHR we are now getting swamped with candidates but they are quality and qualified candidates and for that I am so thankful. I recommend this product to all of my clients as well for their hiring needs.

Overall: I've gotten so many benefits from JazzHR but the biggest and most important benefit to me from this software is the amount of quality, qualified candidates I've received on every job that I've posted. We've been able to successfully post three completely different jobs and go through the workflow of interviewing, discussing and hiring for all three jobs.

Pros: I like being able to email and schedule interviews through the system. I also like that it can post to so many job boards all at once.

Cons: I don't like that if I sort applicants under 'consider' (for example), I can't go back and still be looking at 'consider' applicants; it just brings me back to all applicants, so I have to resort by 'consider' every time. This is the same for if you sort by any stage in the hiring process. Quite annoying.

Cons: I really wish interviews and documents were tied to candidates and not jobs. It's very frustrating that when I move a candidate to another job previous interview and any attached documents don't follow them.

Cons: Does not sync well with calendar. I am currently on Exchange 2010 and Jazz can not seem to get my calendar set up despite multiple calls. They are better suited for google suite users.

Pros: JazzHR is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Transferring from fairly popular HRIS system to JazzHR was a breath of fresh air. I appreciate the control you have over the applications and profiles. There was very little training that I had to give to Hiring Managers and Interviewers when it came to using this service. Any issues that I found were quickly resolved by the customer support team.

Overall: Well-rounded applications, the ability to customize workflows, better communication tools for the hiring team. I'm sure there will be small issues that pop up eventually, but I'm confident in the customer support team to address them quickly.

Great value and easy to use. JazzHr helps keep my recruiting organized (and our team!)

Pros: The ease of use - it's user friendly. And they always send email updates when they introduce a new feature with a webinar you can sign up for (or just get the info afterwards). I love that you can customize your emails, schedule an interview and even customize your interview questions right there. And the option to move a candidate forward, reject them, add an offer - makes everything much easier and more organized. I also love the bulk mailing feature!

Cons: The integration with some paid job posting sites is a little lack luster but I think that has more to do with the recruiting sites (like Indeed) since they prefer to have their own direct customers and charge PPC.

Overall: Helped organize our recruiting process, and allows my assistant to help in the process as well.

Pros: I like how simple the reporting features are. I can go in and pull a report in an instance. I also like how users can get cc'ed on the approval workflow.

Cons: I wish the comp range or pay range fields, you can't enter a mid point info. Currently you can only enter min, mid and max information. I would like to see more approval workflow in the system to pull data from comp survey tools to input into Jazz.

Comments: Because the software tries to be really great at solving the recruiting piece of HR it does a really super job at that. Again, because it is stand alone it will depend on who you use for payroll and personnel processing whether that gathered information will easily port to your main HR platform. for us it did not.

Pros: Very good customer service. implementation was really easy. Very good at what it tries to do. we found that getting our requirements into the system, establishing links to our job posting boards and getting our job descriptions into the system really easy to do.

Cons: Like all stand alone HR products it stinks that you need multiple software platforms in order to solve all of your HR needs

Pros: An awesome, all-encompassing product with stellar customer service. You can add all your hiring managers, to delegate responsibilities to them, scheduled everything (while integrating with Google Calendar to see availabilities), add resources, create oodles of customizable messages for every stage in the pipeline, and customize your pipeline entirely for every job, or pick a template to work off of. An integrated job board and offer process saves time and clicks, and is a game-changer!

Pros: The customized pipeline is my personal favorite - I can delegate permissions and tasks, see the overall status of my pipeline, and pull standardized and customized reports. I can even request backups from the CS Dept!

Cons: It'd be great if I could somehow self-backup, rather than having to contact Customer Service. They're always super-quick and helpful with it, but I still feel bad bothering them for things like this.

Pros: JazzHR is mutually beneficial to the candidate who can easily download a resume, cover letter and click on some buttons to answer questions that the employer wishes to learn about candidates (e.g., What Makes You Unique?). It automatically responds to the candidate (inserting the individual's name) to acknowledge receipt of their submission, thereby avoiding the "black hole" (or "black box") experience. It's also very helpful to the employer as it provides customization per job posting, knock-out questions/answers to alert us at a glance if the candidate lacks education or relevant work experience, etc. It stores all incoming and outgoing emails as well as submissions, so nothing is lost! JazzHR provides the recruiter the opportunity to download a comparison chart of all or certain candidates to quickly compare apples to apples side by side. It provides the employer the option to use a calendar system. It helps us to quickly post our job openings on popular websites for no fees and others for additional fees. It's a GREAT resource! JazzHR has an intuitive process from initial job posting through hire, and for an additional fee would provide onboarding (sending/signing offer letters online), too. Another BIG "Pro" is that JazzHR has been very responsive to my suggestions. Their product is already robust and easy-to-use by both candidates and recruiter/employer, but I've made some suggestions and have seen them implement some of my suggestions and that pleased me!

Cons: We do not pay for the premium-level support, so there's no immediate phone call support when I'm in a pinch. They've made a fairly comprehensive Support section complete with visual and step-by-step instructions which is extremely useful by those of us who opt not to pay for the higher support level -- and they email me back within 24-hours (more often sooner).

Overall: I used to stress out when we had recruiting efforts, but JazzHR has made this process so much more organized and it's something I look forward to using. It has saved us a great deal of paper, ink/toner resources as well as filing space, too. On top of the other features mentioned, it assists us with compliance by capturing retrievable data on each candidate, so employers are already prepared for whatever might occur resulting from recruiting decisions.

Pros: JazzHR is very user friendly. It is easy to navigate the site, and there are a lot of features that are customizable - such as categories to easily narrow down search results, email templates, and workflows that automatically trigger notifications and tasks to different people.
The ability to send our job posting to so many free job boards has been fantastic and saves us countless hours per job when we don't have to manually post on those sites. It integrates seamlessly with our website, so it is very easy for job seekers to find our open positions.
They host tons of free webinars so that you can learn about the new features that they are constantly rolling out. The capability to create and send forms for an electronic signature through the HelloSign integration has been a huge improvement from our outdated process of trying to send and collect original documents through the mail.
We always get helpful, speedy customer service whenever we have questions.

Cons: One feature that would be really beneficial for us is a place where the hiring team can communicate and discusss the job itself. There is a discussion page for each candidate, but if anything changes with the job requirements - like the hours, schedule, location, etc) - we can't communicate that within Jazz within putting it on a candidate's discussion thread.

Overall: Using JazzHR has greatly improved the success of our recruitment efforts and increased communication among our managers and recruiters.

Pros: Jazz HR has workflows, and depending on your package it also has eSigning. The people are friendly until you've finished giving them your money, and then they'll be a quiet as a church mouse.

It's stable software, but it's overpriced.

Cons: I had opened an account with Jazz HR before the recruiter I hired let me know about Breezy HR. Breezy is free, and it does far more. Plus Breezy doesn't mislead you into thinking all you need to do is buy some expensive ad on a job site.

Recruiters know how to recruit, and software alone is not the answer. Even if you just grab Breezy HR, and you don't have a recruiter working long hours to fill your role, then you still won't get anywhere.

So, don't get me wrong. The reason I don't like Jazz HR is because it's overpriced for what you get. Recruiters are expensive, but your software doesn't need to be.

For eSigning, grab a free plan with DocHub and you'll help their small business and you'll get free eSigning for a while. Then it's only a few bucks a month for signatures.

Comments: Highly recommend this as it's the best value with great support ATS on the market.

Pros: These guys have hit the nail on the head with the level of customer support. They're U.S. based team is amazing and provide instant help with questions. Implementation and migration was smooth and organized. Great team on staff!

Cons: It's a very basic ATS with not much ability for customizations. Job application format allows applicants to enter numbers in fields that should be test only - like first name and words in field that should be numeric only like desired salary.

Pros: Very easy to use and customize. Like the different buckets you can put candidates in to keep track easily. Questionnaires are really nice to narrow down viable candidates. Similar to Salesforce in that you can tag people in messages rather than having to send emails outside the software. Also catches duplicate candidates.

Cons: When you have a candidate from an old position you would like to move to a new position, it doesn't transfer their notes with them.

Comments: The tool was operational during the 3 week trial. We posted jobs and starting tracking/vetting candidates without any training.

Pros: Easy to use and functional right out of the box; also customizable. The user experience is the best.

Cons: A less formal way to keep notes on a candidate would be nice. The functionality is there, but since it is discussion based you either create private notes or they get emailed to the team.

Pros: Jazz looks great. It's easy to set up and use as the administrator. Good search features, works quickly, lots of customization possible.

Cons: "sub-users" often seem to struggle to find information. Sharing some information is made incredibly difficult; for instance, I cannot (or have not yet found a way) to share the results of an interview, conducted within Jazz, with other team members easily. They can't be copied and pasted nor can they be printed This may be by design, but for some less tech-savvy users or those who can't be bothered with another login, it's annoying.
