Overall experience using Miro has been exceptionally positive .The combination of simplicity ,ready made templates and seamless collaboration makes it one of the best platform I use and recommend most times.Works well for our team collaboration ,planning, brainstorming and workshops regardless of each one of us location.

Pros

I like the ease of use ,real time collaboration and ready to use templates which makes my team and I feel like we are in the same room no matter where we are working from.Being able to have brainstorming sessions ,workshops and planning on the same canvas makes our workflow efficient.

Cons

When having large boards it feel laggy and the mobile application experience is not smooth compared to desktop version.

The main drawback I have noticed is that boards can quickly become cluttered. When many elements are added, I need to take some time to organize the workspace properly. Some features are also limited to paid plans.

Pros

I mainly use Miro when I am working on creative thinking, project planning, and design concepts. What I appreciate most is its collaborative whiteboard, which allows me to bring my ideas together in one place.

Cons

Miro is particularly effective for organizing ideas that are still somewhat scattered. I can create mood boards, build mind maps, or organize different stages of a project. Real-time collaboration is another major advantage for me.

Overall my experience has been very positive. I mainly use Miro for flowchart designing and AI-driven collaboration during hackathons, and it makes planning and teamwork much easier.

Pros

I like the flowchart tools, infinite canvas, and AI-driven collaboration features. They make it easy for my hackathon team to brainstorm and organize ideas together.

Cons

I think the UI part, large boards can sometimes get a little cluttered, especially when the whole team is adding ideas at once.

Miro gets the job done for our client work, but I’m constantly second-guessing if it’s actually worth the price tag. For running remote workshops or mapping out visual strategy, it’s honestly tough to beat. I just really wish their pricing model was better suited for agencies like ours that deal with external collaborators all the time. Still, we keep paying for it, I guess that says it all.

Pros

We use Miro for workshop facilitation and strategy mapping with clients. The infinite canvas is great for things like design sprints or when we’re mapping out user journeys. Having templates ready to go really saves time when we’re prepping for a session, which is honestly a big help. The real-time collaboration is smooth, too, everyone can pitch in during video calls without that annoying lag you find in some other tools. Plus, exporting the boards as PDFs for client deliverables is pretty straightforward.

Cons

The pricing really stings when you’re running a small agency. Since every client needs their own seat, the costs add up fast once you’ve got a few projects going at once. It’s also tough for some clients to pick up the interface right away, there’s honestly a bit of a learning curve there. Plus, the performance can get pretty laggy on those really big boards once you start piling on a bunch of sticky notes and images.

Does what we need for distributed sales planning at a reasonable cost. Not perfect but gets the job done for coordinating a mid-sized team across multiple markets. Beats the spreadsheet chaos we had before, and our parent company already had licenses so adoption was straightforward. Worth it for the time saved in alignment meetings alone.

Pros

We map out quarterly territory plans and customer pipelines across Southeast Asia without having to fly everyone into Jakarta. The templates help us get started on account mapping sessions pretty fast. Honestly, our team picks it up in maybe 20 minutes, which really matters when you’ve got reps who would much rather be closing deals than learning some new platform. Plus, the real-time updates mean I can see what my managers are planning without getting stuck in those endless email chains.

Cons

Gets sluggish when we load up boards with too many customer accounts and data points. The mobile app is pretty limited, which is annoying since half my team works from the field. Pricing jumps fast if you need more than basic features. Wish the export options were better for pulling data into our CRM reports.

Our overall experience with Miro has been very positive. It has become an essential collaboration tool for our team, making it easy to brainstorm ideas, map processes, plan projects, and run workshops in a shared workspace. The interface is intuitive, and the real-time collaboration features make teamwork seamless, whether participants are in the office or working remotely. We also appreciate the wide range of templates and integrations, which help us organize work efficiently and adapt Miro to different use cases. While very large boards can sometimes become difficult to manage and some advanced features require a bit of learning, these are minor limitations. Overall, Miro has significantly improved collaboration and productivity across our team, and we would recommend it to organizations looking for a flexible and user-friendly visual collaboration platform.

Pros

What we liked most about Miro was how easy it is to collaborate with teams in real time. The platform is intuitive, making it simple to organize ideas, map out workflows, and run brainstorming or planning sessions. It offers a wide variety of templates and collaboration tools that help keep meetings productive and projects well organized. Miro is also highly flexible and adapts well to different use cases, from project planning to process mapping and workshops. It provides excellent value for money, and the regular updates and new features continue to improve the overall experience.

Cons

While Miro is a very capable collaboration tool, larger boards can become cluttered and more difficult to navigate as projects grow. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, especially for new users, and certain capabilities are only available on higher-tier plans. Overall, these are relatively minor drawbacks and do not outweigh the platform's strengths.

Pros

Love the large board and its ability to be a virtual whiteboard, storing and hosting ideas for multi-use collaboration.
