Pros I love the fact that it is very intuitive and easy to use. Since I started using it in all projects, mainly website development. Cons Given the fact that it has several paid tools, the price is one of the things that bothers me, they could create a more friendly price for a specific module that in my case would be the creation of flow and sharing. It was very easy to integrate other products we already use (e. g. Microsoft Teams). Miro is the most complete tool for management. You can create boards, mind maps and flow maps and customize them. It offers powerful diagraming tools including process maps. The real time collaboration features allows teams to work together in real time. It also makes meetings more effective and interactive. Pros Miro helps me to understand and work trough challenges from different perspective. It is also great tool for remote or hybrid meetings and workshops because of the built in tools like 'cursor management' of other users (bring everyone to the same screen), timer and presentation mode. The use of diagramming tools are intuitive. The onboarding is useful, without being too aggressive in the early minutes with the product. I also love the template gallery and that it is easy to create and use my own templates. The built-in 'learn & inspire' menu is also a great resource for finding ideas on how to use Miro. The whole team is very satisfied with this product. Pros It's great when your team is out of reach and you need to gather some ideas. It works even better than the physical presence of people, because it forces them to put it in a note - you can organize notes, transform them etc. Also, you can even see where everybody's mouse cursor is, which, even though isn't required, gives you a nice feeling of collaboration (imagine 10 cursors flying around, doing stuff... it just feels powerful and stimulating). Of course, you can turn it off if you'd like to. The collaboration board is 'near-infinite', offers many types of objects (stickies being most popular, but also tasks, lanes, images etc). There's meeting agenda, todo list, and other stuff you might need from an online meeting tool. Paid version also gives you an option to use active elements, like voting, countdown timer etc. Very cool. Cons The history of changes isn't that easy to track - who did what and when, who's put this element? when? what was added by John? etc. What this tool doesn't offer is an actual meeting (call/video) - for that, you'd have to use other means to connect. Switched from [Trello](https://www.capterra.com/p/211559/Trello/) Trello is pretty limiting in terms of organizing ideas, collecting notes etc - every input has to conform to the column, it has to come in specific order, with only text visible (as far as I know). I love the wide collection of premade templates, which are visually quite modern and attractive, using the templates helps get work done faster. The video chat and presentation mode they offer is very helpful to collaborate with others on the same board. It can be used for both teachings as well as collaboration, brainstorming purposes. It is a very good tool if someone wants to get a birds-eye view of something they are working on, discuss it and make crucial decisions. Cons Working with Miro on zoom is not as smooth especially if you have a team of more than 5 working on the same board. I noticed I was tried to create a sketch on Miro board while using my wacom pen but it wasn’t as smooth to work with as expected, so I use it more for creating flow charts than for sketches. I am always very satisfied after working in Miro with my team, because it feels like we manage to get a lot done. Now with the whole Covid-19 situation and that we had to adapt and work 100% online, Miro saves us a lot of emails and unnecessary communication. Pros Everything in Miro looks polished, accessible and is super easy to use. I do feel that the creators put an effort to create a great user experience. My team and I use Miro to brainstorm ideas together. It is fascinating to see in real time how people create, delete and edit tiny details of the puzzle until everything falls into place. One feature that I love particularly much is the ability to include screenshots in your boards and also use their Chrome extension that make is even easier and faster to get any image online and put it in your brainstorming board. I also like the History where I can track the changes that others have made if I miss a meeting and the ability to make people follow your cursor, so that you can bring their attention to a certain area without having to verbally navigate them. Cons I like the tool a lot. BUT I've noticed that not everyone finds it as intuitive as I do. Often times I would see my colleagues doing things the hard way and losing time in tasks that are supposed to be easy and fast. The cause for this I think is that they haven't followed the tutorial, so that they know better. I believe Miro team could think in direction of improving the tutorial so that all people follow it and don't have to guess how things are to be done. And it's easy for everyone to collaborate simultaneously. Big projects and quarter planning are all done inside Miro, and it's the best tool I have used for this. Cons Sometimes there are small bugs, for example, you are writing inside a box and all of a sudden, all the text disappears - Sometimes it also happens if you copy something from another box. It is helping me shift how I see the seemingly disconnected areas or tasks in both my business and personal life. As someone that constantly wants to offload ideas and thoughts into a notebook or doc, Miro helps me a bit further by almost "thinking with me", if that makes sense. I highly recommend using it when you need to shift your perspective in some way, or when you would like to both look at the big picture and path, and also get very clear on the smaller steps or components. Pros Miro makes it really easy to map out ideas and workflows, step by step. It is an intuitive program that understands how mind mapping works, and in the process helps me think through processes in more detail. At the moment I am using the free version and there is already plenty for me to use to plan out my sales launch, product development, and internal goals. Cons As a free user the boards I create are "shared" and open to the public. Although I cannot imagine how someone would stumble onto my boards, I don't feel very secure knowing they are in some way accessible and open to the web. I understand that many programs do this at their free level, but for software that holds information on internal processes, ideation, etc, it feels misaligned. Miro has space for digital whiteboard, that anyone on the discussion session can use it to draw and express their ideas better with the help on the whiteboard. The visual element help me to explain my idea clearly. Cons It would be better if Miro is offered its stand alone software for the desktop version. For now, Miro can only be used by accessing it from the web browser.
