### "miro review for pm"

April 6, 2026

5.0

Miro has genuinely changed how our team collaborates, especially working remotely. Before, aligning everyone on ideas or plans meant long email threads or meetings that could've been a document. Now we just open a board and figure things out together in real time. It became one of those tools that you don't realize how much you rely on until you try to work without it. Planning sessions, brainstorming, feedback rounds — it all just lives in Miro now and it makes everything feel a lot less scattered. It's not perfect, but it fits naturally into the way modern teams actually work, and that's honestly what matters most.

Pros

Honestly, Miro just feels like the kind of tool that gets out of your way and lets you think. The canvas is huge, everything is drag and drop, and you never really feel boxed in by the structure of it. What I liked most though is how easy it is to get everyone involved — even people who aren't particularly "visual" types. You send someone a link, they jump in, and within two minutes they're adding sticky notes and moving things around like they've been using it for years. There's almost no learning curve, which is rare for a collaboration tool. The templates are also genuinely useful. Not just filler actual ready-to-go boards for things like retrospectives, brainstorming sessions, or roadmap planning that you can just pick up and run with. It makes remote collaboration feel less like a compromise and more like you're actually in the same room together.

Cons

The one thing that got to me after a while is how heavy it can feel once your boards start filling up. Like, the more content you add, the slower things get especially if you're on a video call at the same time. It's not a dealbreaker but you do notice it. Also, the pricing. It's generous enough to get started, but the moment your team grows or you need some of the more advanced features, you're looking at a jump in cost that feels a bit steep. Feels like some things that should just be included are locked behind higher tiers. And honestly? Sometimes the amount of options and templates can be a little overwhelming. You open it up to do something simple and suddenly you're spending 20 minutes just picking a board layout. First world problem, I know but still. Nothing that made me want to stop using it, just small friction points that add up over time.

### "Virtual whiteboards that have been transformational for our workflow"

January 19, 2026

5.0

Miro has been transmormational in the way we work with many different people in various different locations. Without this we would have had had to all be back in the office printing things out onto peices of paper!

Pros

During covid Miro allowed us to transition to seamlessly from printing masses of designs on giant whiteboards to doing this all virtually. This has saved us thousands in rpinting costs and allows peoplke from any location to dial in a see whats going on in the project. The organizational features allows us to manage this data easily and keep it set upin a way that works well for the team. The board can easily be shared online in a meeting or on a large display or touch screen for in in person collaboration. This is now an integral part of our workflow and is super easy to use.

Cons

We ideally would like to be on the enterprise plan to take advantage of the security settings like scim but these are fenced off and we are priced out as a small business. Its a shame but unfortunately a lot of major apps are like this.

### "Miro is a great way to visualize"

December 2, 2025

3.0

Miro has been great for visualizing things for our customers. We have had some really great meetings due to Miro. When looking at this from a forward looking perspective though, Miro becomes a challenge to data security and data retention.

Pros

Miro can be an awesome tool for visualizing ideas and organizing thoughts. The features and plugins are great and the support from the customer support team has been great as well.

Cons

Once you're in Miro, your data is kind of trapped in the application. There are ways to export but there are size limits on exporting. What makes it more difficult is that there is no way to track the overall size of your board while you're designing it so when it comes time to export, I find myself breaking things into many smaller boards or frames. If we knew this before trying Miro, we probably would have looked into alternatives. Now we feel stuck.

### "Smart choice for Project Management "

March 3, 2026

4.0

Wonderful experience in terms of project management, visual roadmap. It makes team collaboration, brainstorming, and meetings more interactive and organized. The interface is user-friendly, and real-time editing keeps everyone aligned. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient tool for visual project management.

Pros

Miro offers strong value for money, especially for teams needing a flexible collaborative whiteboard, though larger plans can be pricey. Customer support is responsive with solid documentation, but live help can be slow at peak times. The platform scores high on ease of use, with intuitive drag-and-drop tools and templates that reduce the learning curve. Organizational management features like team spaces and permissions help keep boards structured, while meetings feel more engaging with real-time co-editing and presentation modes. Workflow management integrates well with tools like Jira and Asana, making task tracking smoother. Overall navigation is clean and logical, though very large boards can occasionally feel cluttered.

Cons

It gives the ready made templates for workflows, inbuilt AI features, and endless whiteboard. important is value for money.

Overall we've had a very positive experience with Miro and plan on continuing to use this tool for our team.

Pros

Our team loves Miro. The value this tool provides is immense for planning meetings and wire-framing out ideas. The UI is easy to use for any team member and we most commonly use it during meeting screen shares.

Cons

The infinite scroll is great, but sometimes, it can be hard to get your bearings if you zoom around too fast.

### "Great for mapping out processes"

January 12, 2026

5.0

Pros

Really easy to use, streamlined, and great for visual mapping. It's relatively low cost and the free version works well.

Cons

Could be maybe more robust like Figma if you need more functionality. It also could be smoother with collaboration.

### "Miro over 4 years"

April 13, 2026

4.0

It’s a very good tools for collaboration and visual thinking, especially for cross-functional work where you need quick alignment and shared context. While large boards can become messy or slower over time, it’s still extremely effective when used with good structure and a clear purpose.

Pros

It is how quickly it helps teams get aligned—whether it’s brainstorming, mapping flows, or running a workshop, everyone can contribute in real time without needing to be in the same room. I also really like how flexible it is: sticky notes, diagrams, templates, and frames make it easy to turn messy ideas into something structured and shareable.

Cons

As boards get larger, Miro can start to feel a bit heavy—performance can slow down, and it becomes harder to find things unless the board is kept tidy. Also, when multiple people are editing at once, boards can get cluttered quickly, so it takes discipline (or strong templates) to keep things organized and easy to follow

### "A Tool to Strengthen Your Team collabration. "

May 18, 2026

5.0

we have been using Miro for almost all team projects for simpler visualization of workflows and Dataflows . It is useful for team work and saving time. Miro is good for interactive presentations.

Pros

An easy to use visual collaboration platform. For planning and Brainstorming this software is super useful. The build in Templates are efficient in time saving. Way many features are already packed in the free tier.

Cons

As the canvas is infinite , sometimes navigation can be frustrating on a larger canvas. User management and control are not strengths of this software.

### "Give it a try!"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Occasionally, boards can become cluttered and difficult to navigate when multiple teams are collaborating, and very large boards may experience performance slowdowns. Alternatively, this products handles messy ideation early on, then helps you organize, cluster, prioritize, and turn ideas into clear plans.

Pros

We used Miro for presentations and really enjoyed the experience. The platform is highly effective in connecting designers, product managers, engineers, sales, and quality teams, allowing everyone to collaborate seamlessly. Its intuitive interface makes it easy for cross‑functional teams to adopt and use without a steep learning curve.

Cons

Although the basics are easy to pick up, some advanced functionality (workflows, integrations, automation) takes time to fully learn and adopt.

Miro is a virtual collaboration software, it supports plenty of languages and integrates well with other systems. The product is easy to use and offers a free trial for beginners. Use of the software allows us to share ideas and collaborate in real-time.

### "Great tool to manage Workflows"

February 25, 2026

5.0

Pros

We use Miro quite a lot, it's a very interesting tool to design workflows, organise retrospective meetings. Also the Miroverse community where you can get some templates saves us a lot of time. Literally, white boards are dead after Miro.

Cons

No major issue to report, but sometimes when the board is a bit heavy with some PDFs, images or heavy content, the board could become a bit laggy and slow to load.

### "Miro review"

September 25, 2025

5.0

Even though it’s a collaboration software, I used it differently. It’s not easy if you’ve never used a tool like this, but if your use is simple, there are plenty of templates to get started.

Pros

I didn’t use it as a collaboration tool, more like a mindmap, a support, and a thinking space to create automations. With Zapier, it’s better to put the whole process on paper before starting. It helps to figure out the right apps and the most efficient way to automate your process.

Cons

I also found it a bit complicated because I was using it poorly. It’s hard to start from a blank board, mostly I edited templates.

### "Miro Miro on the wall"

November 17, 2025

4.0

I used this application for a graduate course. Our group utilized this platform as a white board for brainstorming, large scale collaborations, and organization. Overall it was easy to use but difficult when it came to selecting data and moving it to another space like canva or excel. I cannot speak to the cost because it was included in of costs for our course at SCAD.

Pros

My favorite thing about Miro was the scalability that was included in a space. It really allowed for brainstorming to be mapped around a specific point without having the raw thought or concept lost in a bulleted format. I also liked I could see real time my classmates working and track any changes that were made.

Cons

The difficulty in copying information that was pasted from other group members. We needed it to see some work in this space but we couldn’t manipulate it the way we could in other applications.

December 1, 2025

Pros

I appreciate most the touch screen for the ability to add a new shape by pressing and holding. Miro is just great for diagrams, mind maps and flow charts.

Cons

Really not much, you can really dig around on a page to find the link to log in at first. There should just be a link to log in from the home page.

Pros

Miro allows you to do pretty much anything with ease and has really good third party software integration

Cons

We has been satisfied with Miro so far overall. Its great tool for collaboration and creativity. mainly used to draw AWS Cloud architecture diagrams to visualize and future plan of architecture. Their aws icons make it super easy.

Pros

What I like about Miro is how flexible and easy to use. The digital whiteboard is super intuitive, which makes brainstorming and organizing ideas a breeze. There are tons of templates for things like mind maps and flowcharts, so you don't have to start from scratch.

Cons

nothing much of dislike or inconvenience about Miro but little think i can mention is that its UI or like features can be overwhelming at first because of many features and options.

So many built in objects for creating the perfect board, with more seemingly added on a regular basis. Gets the basics right, such as basic diagrams and flowcharts - but also integrates deeply with Jira etc. Good tool for doing interesting team retrospectives.

Cons

Miro provides me easy tools for creating product ideas comparing prototype with endless panning. It's like having a big whiteboard the size of a room where you can keep ideating all your scattered ideas.

Pros

Miro is one of the best product ideation tool i have ever used with my team. The endless screen extension just works perfectly on wider screens

Cons

Pros

This is a very useful tool, intuitive and easy to use. Great for teamwork and brainstorming, as well as making flowcharts.

Cons

When writing in a shape (e.g. for a flowcharts), if the text is longer than the shape it will hide and not automatically adjust so we need to manually adjust them.
