August 6, 2021

It was a lifesaver on my team remote work, I'm so happy with this tool that even if we go back to the office I will still going to use it

Pros

ease of use, learnability, collaboration features, integrations, and community templates and help

Cons

there are some minor bugs when using the text tool (on copy and pasting, when we need to use the spell checker), either than that I don't have any complaints

### "Miro is the dream product for remote teams!"

December 20, 2022

5.0

I love Miro, it’s helped me organize my own thoughts and ideas, and collaborate with people in any location and at any time (or asynchronously). It’s just Ana amazing repository, and a really flexible tool that provides all sorts of solutions.

Pros

Miro is the digital whiteboard I spent 20 years to see, and it’s almost as awesome as I always hoped. Being able to quickly and easily collect all sorts of materials, designs, references, links, diagrams, etc, and have a permanent, shareable repository is HUGE for teams.

Cons

I understand pricing st a basic level, where it’s basically just myself and a few reviewers, but I don’t understand how to scale it where large numbers of people are creating within it, and it seems like that would get expensive quickly.

I had actually used Miro before, then tried FigJam because it’s “free” (if you’re already using Figma), but it’s not nearly as full-featured - though it IS mostly “good enough,” and it’s going to keep improving… Miro should not get complacent.

### "Thank you"

August 24, 2021

4.0

i tell everyone about this tool. mainly folks outside the tech world. like furniture makers, jewellers, photographers, artist, anyone that needs to work through creative ideas with a collaborate partner or client.

Pros

I am continually surprised by little moments of wonder. like the first time a dragged a URL into a board and it created a beautiful thumbnail of the page i was just on! brilliant!

Cons

no cons per-sey. just new features. it looks like video calling is being rolled in. Playable videos in the board would be nice. collaborating on word/pages (or the whole suite actually excel, slides, etc) docs would be handy. I would also like to copy and paste from one miro to another.

Reason for choosing Miro

cause its awesome

### "Tracing paper and pen in a virtual environment"

October 5, 2021

5.0

With remote working, collaborating on complex design related problems became much more difficult. Screen sharing with snapping images and marking up was a quick fix, however this was slow and a 1-way communication. MIRO solved all of this and became the virtual equivalent of rolling out tracing paper and having a handful of people developing the design simultaneously. I think that it would be useful to enhance the sketching experience further. If there could be a virtual tracing paper with variable opacity to contain (group) a series of sketches similar to a frame this would be useful. This is currently possible with multiple objects but it becomes unwieldy. This would also allow the development of a simple layer system. Partial deletion of a hand drawn line would be really helpful. (I have in mind some of the user-experience of the Procreate sketching iPad app)

Pros

I found MIRO intuitive with no training necessary. You can invite collaborators effortlessly with only browser access required. This has been transformational for me during remote working.

Cons

When boards become large, the download process can be a little slow and it sometimes trips up with downloading the content that is currently in the viewer's screen. This can easily be resolved by archiving and starting a new board. Perhaps an option of local caching some content could be useful.

Switched from

[Microsoft Whiteboard](https://www.capterra.com/p/203470/Microsoft-Whiteboard/)

Ms Whiteboard was glitchy, did not have much rich content, and most critically you cannot see other users' pointer location. Pointer location is absolutely necessary to have a meaningful design discussion.

### "Good way to share and work with others"

December 22, 2023

4.0

We use Miro for all our meetings, it's best choice collaboration tool for brainstormings, mapping, customer journey design, mostly used for this even if the tools offers a good and simple task management tool with also assignation. But the best use we make of this tools is always for meetings, sharing info, notes, brainstorming, clustering and solution sharing. It's very difficult we can change for other tools.

Pros

The collaboration within this product is very effective, nontheless the good amount of possibilities to share comments, notes, links, images and the intuitive use of the tools present give us good moment since we are mostly remote workers. We use it for all kind of meetings from brainstormings to task management, but we surely prefer use it for brainstormings than for showing static contents.

Cons

The most met problem is rendering time, I suppose there are a specific set of settings for the board, but it makes screen sharing very tedious sometimes, using the desktop app sometimes solves the problem but even passing from a tab to another make people nervous.

### "Excellent software for whiteboarding and collaboration"

November 3, 2021

5.0

It is easy to have discussions and not track ideas and shared thoughts or do so through stagnant meetings notes. Miro allows tracking to be fun, exciting, visual and provides a space for all to engage in active collaboration around projects, goal setting, etc. One of the best things about Miro is that you can save and build upon previous visual collaboration and enhance product impact. Miro was easy to integrate with our existing workflows, especially as we began to work remotely.

Pros

What I like best about Miro is that it allows me to work collaboratively with my colleagues and partners to map concepts, ideas, and projects. It was easy to integrate into our existing meetings and even enhanced the way we brainstorm, plan and execute on projects.

Cons

Miro does have many templates, so at first, it can be a little difficult to decipher the best templates for your use cases. After time and testing different templates, you find what you like and what is useful.

### "Miro helping to increase productivity and efficiency"

January 12, 2023

4.0

It's a fantastic platform for collaboration amongst many stakeholders, including UX, POs, and many more. It has been tremendously helpful to be able to naturally depict thoughts and concepts and to utilise Miro as a whiteboard for several reasons. Our project management procedures have been made more efficient and streamlined. The collaborative capabilities offered by MIRO, however, allow people of diverse backgrounds to contribute ideas without necessarily speaking out.

Pros

It is fairly easy. It runs well and usually has an understanding of what we are trying to accomplish. We often communicate with our personnel and concerned parties using Miro. Additionally, the frameworks built into the software assist organise meetings more quickly. In addition to allowing you to express your creativity, the vast selection of activity templates, marker colours, custom icons, voting, comments, CMS integration, and document collaboration enables you to run workshops successfully. With the diversity of tools and plugins it supports, Miro can assist you in expressing them. It is also straightforward enough so that you won't feel overwhelmed and can concentrate on your job.

Cons

The projects' lack of organisation is what I detest the most. The search is also not optimal as there is no hierarchy, tiers, folders, etc. The administrative dashboard and user organisation in Miro have also been a problem for me. Although the programme is typically simple to use, I have encountered difficulties navigating it when working with many Miro accounts. However, after showing teams the value of whiteboarding, they frequently become more receptive to it.

Slack was a much more costly and heavy tool for our firm to afford instead Miro is assisting me with every aspect of my work. Miro makes it simple to plan research, analyse it, put plans together, utilise various design frameworks like the Opportunity Solution Tree, and create mockups, so I combined multiple tools I had previously used into one.

### "All in one tool for collaboration, ideation and planning"

July 1, 2021

5.0

My overall experience with Miro is super cool because the product me to achieve my tasks as a UX designer in eery product building journey very easier because of its intuitive and easy to use features.

Pros

The Collaboration feature that Miro provides has enormously helped me to easily conduct Retrospective sessions without any hassle. It also acts as a knowledge base for the product, design and marketing teams to know more about the product's ideation and it's planning.

Cons

I feel the cost per extra participant for the collaborative session is costlier as it is an extra charge other than the subscription price. So kind of dynamic pricing plan for startups would be really helpful.

### "Great Project Management and Process Mapping Tool"

August 18, 2023

5.0

I am very happy with Miro, and it works great for teams who work remotely. It keeps the meetings engaging and encourages collaboration.

Pros

\- I think that it is a great collaboration tool and very easy to use. - I love the templates available (I wouldn't mind a few more)- It is a great project management tool for virtual teams. - You can create process maps in real-time, and the team can express their ideas, giving everyone a feeling of "inclusion". - I like that you can save the board and continue working on it at a later stage.- It is also a great way to take notes in meetings which can later be shared with the broader team.- There are numerous "how to" guides as well as videos available for upskilling purposes.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike. It would be great if the software was more intuitive or possibly some AI included. The templates are great, but a few more could be added.

### "Miro is a fantastic tool for team collaboration"

August 21, 2023

4.0

Because of Miro, our team is now able to work together much more efficiently. It allows us to easily record our thoughts graphically and relay them to the other participants in the conference call. No longer is it necessary for us to explain obscure ideas.

Pros

Miro's user-friendliness and collaborative nature make learning about it a pleasure. Its whiteboard features are intuitive, allowing multiple team members to make changes or generate new spreadsheets at the same time with minimal effort.

Cons

The lack of a simple polling option is something I find lacking in Miro. A polling mechanism connected with charts and graphs would make updating charts and adding integer values to tables more efficient.

### "The templates are a great way to get started quickly"

April 5, 2023

4.0

Miro facilitates remote collaboration for teams. Having a place where the whole team can get together and discuss how to improve the tools, process, or development is crucial for my organization.

Pros

I enjoy the flexibility of having members of my team work from home and the convenience of being able to brainstorm ideas together. Changes in workflow and process may now be quickly and easily whiteboarded thanks to this helpful program. Miro facilitates cross-team communication and collaboration for ideation, process mapping, and more inside the Marketing department.

Cons

There isn't much about Miro that worries me. I wish we could make our own templates and preserve them. There was also an option we could click to export our Miro creations to Powerpoint. Other than that, it's a great tool that I enjoy using.

### "Best tool for 100% remote teams for collaboration"

July 29, 2021

5.0

We're working 100% remote in several locations. We were using Miro even before the pandemic but due to the switch to the remote working, it became a must for our tech-stack. I like the versatility and smooth user experience on this software. It replaced our physical boards, and we can do even more with this tool online, nobody misses the physical boards. When we have our meetings, Miro is always open, we also do our project discussions on Miro. We forgot about presentations since we can share our Miro project instead of wasting time on creating slides. As a manager and content producer, I use it as an individual as well. It triggers my creativity and I am very glad to have this tool in my daily workflow.

Pros

As a collaboration tool, Miro has everything. It has integration with almost everything out there, and for us, it makes a huge difference. We use it for presentation purposes, task tracking, visualization of our projects, and team communication tool. Miro is extremely easy to use. I didn't have any issues to share with the newcomers in the team, everybody loves it.

Cons

Earlier this year, I noticed some issues with the screen sharing but recently, it seems to be fixed. The pricing for additional team member is slightly high, it would be great to make it a little useful. However, if you compare with the other tools out there, still the price is sitting in the middle for me. I never really had to contact the Support so I can't comment on this.

### "Excellent experience in collaborative work"

June 3, 2022

4.0

For the most part, we've used it as a brainstorming tool since we first started using it. It allows me and my colleagues to reorganize our thoughts in novel ways. Even though we're all working at our desks, it feels like we're using post-it notes on a whiteboard.

Pros

It was a great experience, and I've used him for both teaching and scheduling since I met him. Intuition and teamwork are at the heart of Miro's design. You may use it on any device without having to download any additional software or plugins. A fast learner who can quickly engage a diverse group of individuals.

Cons

The only drawback I can think of is that uploading material such as videos might take a while. In addition, the cost per license for a small business is considerable, although the free basic version is fairly comprehensive.

Despite its price and sometimes the clicking problems, Miro is an application that outweighs its positive features. I think every team should use it and I always recommend it to my friends.

Pros

User-friendly interface, group work, project management, idea evaluation, whiteboard display, drag and drop feature, easy use, large screen, timer, gamified usage can be counted among the advantages of Miro. I love Miro because of these features and we love to use it as a team.

Cons

### "Collaboration and PM are easy with Miro"

December 26, 2022

4.0

Miro excels in providing a framework for structuring data. Miro also makes it simple to create shared boards for group work. In my current use case, I cannot imagine a situation where Miro would be less suitable or less fit.

Pros

Miro is used in many ways in my organization, both internally and externally, and in a wide range of projects and interactions with stakeholders. We use the software for conceptualization and planning, charting the customer and partner journey, designing processes, and gathering user input. It's useful to be able to see ideas on a screen and work on them with a group of people all at once.

Cons

It may take a while to grant someone access to the board. Once or twice, someone we added to the board didn't immediately gain edit privileges, but I suspect this was due to a problem rather than a lack of features.

### "The Best Collaboration Tool for Small to Midsize Businesses"

July 29, 2021

4.0

For me, it has been a good experience. It didn't take me long to learn how to use it. I was able to understand it and started working immediately. Overall, it's thrilling to use the large canvas and try different tools. Pen tool, different shapes, and templates make it really stand out.

Pros

We were introduced to Miro by a client who hired us to revamp their company profile that had some 23 slides to edit. Based in different parts of the world, Miro came in handy to help us complete the challenging task. Initially, a board was created and used to collaborate on the project. I loved how convenient it was to import files, add comments, annotate text, and get help from a number of tools. The best thing about Miro is that it has a huge template library and it is equipped with many helpful graphic elements, shapes, and what not! We used the free version that allowed us to create three boards and we made a good use of them. Generally speaking, it is apt enough for anyone to use the trial version and decide on buying the premium version and enjoy full access with more freedom. Long story short, Miro was a great help for us to successfully complete the project. Thumbs up

Cons

The only con in my opinion is that it can be tricky for a new user. You need to learn and practice before taking full advantage of the application. If you don't know how to use it properly, changing the size of text and adjusting other graphic elements can be difficult. Another thing that I don't consider as a con but some people might think the other way - Miro enables to create really large boards that can be confusing - zooming-in and zooming-out is the key to work efficiently.

### "Miro, and the use of an agile perspective of collaborative and team work."

November 20, 2022

5.0

It's a spectacular platform, which allows developing joint work for dynamic and complex environments in a simple way, in addition to having multiple integrations with third parties, and the incorporation of agile methodologies such as kanban, predesigned templates, and the facility to parameterize the application with the logo and colors of the organization.

Pros

It's useful for teamwork and task assignment, with the possibility of making notifications, generating progress in real-time or asynchronously, producing and documenting strategies, setting team goals, designing workflows, and generally maintaining communication with all participants.

Cons

### "Un indispensable"

February 3, 2023

5.0

### "Now I Can't Live Without It"

September 22, 2021

5.0

The flexibility of this product is astounding. I can use it for almost every element of my daily workflow as a self-employed business consultant. I use boards to keep track of what tasks are on my plate today as well as which ones are on deck. It's cut my time putting new presentations together by half, since I can brainstorm what I want to include and organize it quickly which cuts down on the time I actually spend putting slides together. Plus, it makes workshops a snap since I can illustrate changes in real time or even invite attendees to collaborate live. I use it for marketing too - brainstorming our marketing story and persona and moving seamlessly into wireframes. I originally used it with one of my clients, but am now a subscriber myself who recommends it to everyone I know.

Pros

My favorite thing about Miro is it's flexibility. I have a hard time thinking of a business problem I want to work on where Miro isn't helpful - which is great a solo business owner. From task tracking, the brainstorming content creation, marketing, and monitoring strategic improvement (with approaches like traction) Miro is up for just about any challenge.

Cons

I'd love to see the ability to do more customized branding, to integrate our favorite fonts and use a wider palate of colors.

### "Incredible platform for collaborating, brainstorming and executing ideas."

May 13, 2023

5.0

Miro understands numerous of the collaboration impediments of not being able to connected together with your colleagues in individual. With Miro, my organization can brainstorm, oversee ventures, share thoughts, and celebrate in a virtual space as on the off chance that we were sharing a meeting room. Miro makes a difference me organize my thoughts by rationally mapping them, making client stories, and the community has extraordinary formats for distinctive needs, particularly workshops, collaborating and sharing in genuine time with colleagues is additionally exceptionally simple.

Pros

I cherish the collaboration highlights accessible in Miro, the capacity to make sheets and grant get to to others is what sets Miro separated from the rest, no other stage I've utilized combines an natural whiteboard/mind outline interface with collaboration highlights live as easily as Miro. It's a awesome device for numerous purposes: share introductions, run workshops remotely, utilize it as a canvas to organize your thoughts, or basically as a board to glue your images. Presenting with Miro could be a extraordinary involvement, on the off chance that you know your members are not exceptionally great with the apparatus or have never utilized it, you'll drive them to take after you whereas you display, which makes a difference anticipate botches, most of the highlights are exceptionally natural.

Cons

It's not a idealize apparatus, but it'll be, and I'm beyond any doubt they strive to be the leading; I know from my encounter that there's a part of investigate with their client database to move forward. Its video include needs work, its modern highlights like clustering and keen gatherings still feel like a work in advance, but they are great features. Third party plugins can cause you a few issues at times, whereas usually not completely Miro's blame, I think way better documentation and engineer back would offer assistance to dispose of these uncommon issues.

October 31, 2022

5.0

Overall, I found Miro to be a very user-friendly and intuitive tool. It was easy to get started and I was quickly able to create my first board. I really appreciate the variety of templates that are available, as well as the ability to customize the background and colors. I also found the search function to be very helpful in finding the right images and icons for my boards.

Pros

There are a lot of things that I like about Miro, but the thing that I appreciate the most is its simplicity. Miro is a very straightforward and easy to use application. It doesn't try to do too much, but it does everything that it sets out to do very well. I also like the fact that Miro is constantly being updated and improved. The developers are very responsive to user feedback and are always working to make the app better. The user interface is very user-friendly and the features are very comprehensive. Overall, I highly recommend Miro to anyone looking for a great kanban tool.

Cons

There are a lot of features to learn, and it can take some time to get comfortable with all of them. And maybe the subscription price can be a bit high for some people. However, if you need a powerful tool for online collaboration, Miro is definitely worth the price.
