I also love the GIFs that are offered to spruce up the posts! Cons Theres really nothing that is bad or that I like least. Pros I mean its alright - it does allow you to write a recognition Cons 1\. you cant boost recognitions in any increment you want (if you have 1500 points available you cannot boost because it requires 2500 points ONLY) 2. you dont get any notification on catalogue items that go on sale, so if you want to buy a gift card on sale, you must look all the time. 3. you cant tell who else a recognition has been shared with, I receive a recognition, was it shared with my manager, should i share it with my manager, could it become a duplicate share, I dont know. Pros There are a lot of ways to simply select a button or two to award users points for Gift Cards and I am done. I have been impressed how well the A.I. rewriter does not make me appear as crazy as I may be. My notes look pretty professional. This also didn’t take an hour to set up and that was nice since I had plenty else to get done that morning. It’s good. Cons I dislike the fact that all of your earned points expire after one calendar month. To me this doesn’t make any sense. Pros My company offers various gift cards redemption with different value options from Achievers as well other products similar as other online stores, as an employee appreciation token for work related contributions from management. Personally, I like to pick Achievers simply because the redemption reward value is not discounted as much as other online products, but also the redemption process is simple, easy and secure from my experiences. Also, I always received the online gift cards within one hour from Achievers. I have also recommended my colleagues to pick Achievers gift cards which provided flexibility on choices to spend on using the gift cards. Cons The least I like about Achievers is that I print a either hard copy of the Achievers gift card or keep the soft copy in my email. To print a hard copy, I need keep the paper copy, and stuff the A4 size paper inside my wallet. To keep a soft copy in my email, I need search around my emails on my phone. If there is a way to print a credit card size of paper copy with the redemption bar code, then it would be perfect in my case. Review Source JB Jenna B. Also, with transferring points, it sometimes took longer to receive them despite meeting the requirements to earn them. Pros I like that it fosters positive reinforcement with incentives. It's also really nice that those reinforcements are public and can be boosted by others. Cons I don't like being reminded constantly to give points out, so the emails really can get a bit old, but I understand the why. There is an option to unsubscribe, but it doesn't give options as to what you're unsubscribing to (weekly updates, reminders to spend...etc). Its just marketing generically. Cons It is necessary to include a section about only the achiever inside your group, because even when the feed show you the recognitions of the people that is closer to you is not the same that to see the recognitions of your team, also is not so easy to find the recognitions done by myself, sometimes I forgot if I already send a recognition and take me some minutes to review all the notifications or feed to find the recognitions that I've done and see if I already send the one that I want to do. March 19, 2025 4.0 Overall, it's been very positive and I've enjoyed having it as an added perk, and tool to give my team mates shout outs and recognitions :) Pros I really enjoy the opportunity to recognize my team for all their hard work and achievements. It's such a rewarding feeling to give shout-outs and acknowledge the efforts they put in, whether it's completing a big project, going above and beyond, or even just consistently showing up and doing their best. The recognition not only boosts morale but also helps create a positive team culture. I've been told a few times that I've 'made someone's week' after a shout out, which brings me immense joy. Another great aspect is being able to tag managers in these shout-outs and the ability for them to boost and award points to recognitions. It adds an extra layer of visibility and encourages everyone to stay engaged, knowing that their efforts are being noticed at all levels. Cons I do have some challenges with the User Interface. I find it a bit cumbersome to navigate, and it can be frustrating at times if a page reloads, or I accidentally close the create new recognition fly-out tab. It doesn't feel as intuitive or streamlined as it could be, which makes using it a little less enjoyable and I tend to wait until the end of the week to give shout outs, rather than individually throughout the week. Another issue I’ve encountered is being logged out frequently, which interrupts my workflow and leads to unnecessary delays. It would be much more convenient if I could stay logged in for a longer duration of time. Additionally, the recognition values our organization has put in place can be a bit confusing. I’ve noticed quite a bit of overlap between the different categories, which makes it difficult to determine which one best fits the recognition I’m giving. The lack of clear distinctions between them can lead to some uncertainty, and it would be helpful if these categories were more clearly defined or streamlined to reduce any confusion. Pros This is just away of showing appreciation on ones normal job description. The team will know that their support hard work and dedication is a collaborative effort and not over looked. The Kudos is an extra bonus that provides the staff with rewards or gift cards to use instead of money, this is also helpful. Right now with the economy the coast of everything has gone up every penny helps a gift card is the same value as money just used at one location. I've recently noticed an improvement in the exchange and delivery of electronic certificates, which has made the experience simpler and more intuitive. It´s been a great experience to feel recognized by others and understand the value and impact of your everyday activities. Pros I like that it allows the opportunity to recognize other people achievements, and reinforce social networking within GM. I really like that the app allows us to share the recognitions we receive with Workday, which helps us strengthen our resumes and support periodic performance evaluations. Cons I wish there were a way to strengthen the culture of recognition between regions. i.e., USA to Mexico, PATAC to Mexico, and viceversa. Definitely more positives than negatives Pros I like the selection available and the ability to hold onto points to use at a later time. I also like the ability to be able to give points to others. Cons One one thing I don't like is how the value of what you can get with the points changes with the change in the dollar. It would be much nicer if point totals for getting items was the same in the United States is it is in Canada. Having items at 346 points or 691 points instead of have 250 or 500 points to get items can be a bit annoying, and to have those numbers change daily so that one day you could get an item but next day you can't based on the value of the dollar is a but frustrating.
