However, it is partly dampened with negativity due to the issues I've had with trying to use my MC gift cards. Pros I really like that there is a vast array of options on how you can spend your points. It really is much more than I expected. More than I've ever experienced with any other company reward programs. Cons I don't like that there isn't an option to purchase a regular Visa gift card. There are sooo many different kinds of gift cards to choose from, which I think is really really cool. However, I never know what I'm going to need/want extra money for other than to pay bills, which is why I prefer a gift card I can spend exactly how I want. I've order multiple MC gift cards and I still haven't used 3 of them because they can only be used at very specific places. I may not get to use them at all, they may've already expired by now. If I don't get to use them I will be even more upset that I wasted my points. Easy to use as an employer when issuing points and amazing for employees when they redeem points. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to navigate. Recognition is seamless and rewarding, with employees able to instantly celebrate their peers' achievements in real-time. We use it also to issue service awards and this works perfectly as well - much easier then giving gifts as this way the employees have the choice to redeem the points for what they actually want. Overall, Achievers Points has been an excellent addition to our company, and we’re excited to continue using it to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our team. Also, when an employee requests additional Pathfinder points, I don’t receive a notification to approve it—so those requests can easily get missed. I have never needed to ask how to use it, that just means it's effective for what I need and very self explanatory. I love getting the feedback, giving the feedback and have not not used all my points for a single month for over a year. Got to give them out and it drives me to ensure I recognise people which is important in this day and age. Pros With the fast paced world of operations, the ability to leave instant praise for someone is amazing. It's easy to use, very straight forward but what matters most it recognises my team (and my extended team). I also apprecate the monthly reports that I get as a manager that tells me if my team are utilisig the platform. This means I can encourage them to utilise it, it makes someone's day to hear that they are recognised and this allows you to do that. From Birthday shout outs, to praising an excellent job done, it often puts a smile on someone's face. I also really enjoy the GIFs! Cons I never know what to do with my points, whether it's better to get vouchers or get the product. I also think it would be good to have something to recognise those people who use their points month on month - maybe bonus points available if you use all your points over a six month period - rewarding those users. Finally, don't think it's an Achievers issue - but paying tax on rewards is a real pain.. that could be a local law thing rather than an issue with Achievers though. Also the feeds can be a little clunky, sometimes I see just mine, sometimes I see my org, sometimes I see my team. Wish there was clearer tabs to select which feed I would see. Finally sometimes I want to recognise loads of people with points, but can't split my points into less than 250 pockets. While I appreciate the opportunity to earn it sometimes feels like it takes a significant amount of time to reach a bigger reward. March 10, 2025 5.0 I've been working with Achievers for over 3 years and I can honestly say it's only gotten better over the years. We have had 3 CSMs within my time which can be difficult once you get to working really well with one, you're moved to another but I understand the needs of the business and appreciate that Achievers always keeps their employees moving upward. There have been a few times where we have to double check the work that is done or requested from a case which can be time consuming but those are few and far between. All-in-all we really enjoy using Achievers! Pros We love Achievers because they have such a modern platform, are always updating their program to stay up to date with trends, have a great marketplace for our employees and have great abilities to customize the platform to our companies brand and culture. They're always sending resources about new and improved tweaks to the platform and what's on the horizon which is admirable that they're always changing with the times. Cons The ability to do things on your own instead of submit a case. We do a lot of specific static pages and approval centers that we'd love to have the ability to update or change on the fly without having to rely on Achievers to do it through a case. This is a way to award good behavior and to honor our sales teammates for achieving their goals. Pros The ability to Recognize teammates for exceptional behavior that goes beyond an email or chat. The community feed is what I like most about Achievers. I am able to see, celebrate, and feel the comradery of teammates across the organization and globe, that I would not otherwise have visibility to. Achievers makes working for a large organization feel like a family. Cons There is no leaderboard/dashboard to see who is the most recognized teammate or who is doing the most recognizing of others. Cons While I am very appreciative of any financial gifts, I do wish I could just link my bank account and get cash instead. I got excited one time I got 200 points for a big project, but found out that converts to only $2, which is not enough to buy anything. The excitement quickly wore off since it took several recognitions over the course of a year before I was able to reap any rewards. Love the notifications for birthdays and anniversaries. If they found a way to make this easier to do for workers on the floor without impacting their workflow this would be way better. Pros The ability to recognize fellow employees with something more than just a thank you and being able to use points to get something more than just a thank you. Cons Works more in an office setting not so much with warehouse workers who never touch a computer. Being able to reward in 250 point increments at the least lessens the amount of recognitions that really have any value, as well as the amount of recognitions I want to give.
