Dopo una prima esperienza disastrosa con un prodotto competitor free, ho testato Iperius per il periodo di trial e mi sono subito trovato benissimo. Ho quindi acquistato non solo la versione che mi serviva ma quella Full ed infatti, vista l'esperienza positiva per le vm ho cominciato ad usarlo anche come "secondo backup su NAS" di siti sharepoint e di database ms-sql (coi backup una copia in più male non fa!). Come scrivevo nei vantaggi, massima facilità di gestione (c'è solo da trimmare il CBT per le Vm, ma i link a come fare sono esaustivi) e soprattutto funziona come un violino per mesi e mesi senza che perda un colpo. Il fatto poi che sia un prodotto italiano me lo rende ancora più gradito. Pros Se penso alla prima caratteristica di Iperius Backup direi sicuramente l'affidabilità. Lo setti correttamente e te ne dimentichi. Se qualcosa non funzione probabilmente è colpa tua e comunque il supporto (sia quello free che ovviamente quello premium a pagamento) sono prontissimi ad aiutarti a risolvere la issue. Cons Se proprio deve trovare un qualcosa che cambierei è il fatto che se il mio datastore che devo backuppare (es. un sito sharepoint) non ha subito cambiamenti il giorno prima (e quindi il job processa 0 files) la mail che arriva alla mattina dice "Backup finished with WARNINGS" e quindi ti mette sempre un po' in allarme. Support is fast, although I only had to reach them to suggest new features.. Cons I would like the ability to minimize it to tray during a backup or a restore.
