We are considering legal action. Pros I liked the system before they changed it without consultation. Cons They have changed the timing element of the system which now no longer works for my business. It has meant that the system has told lots of customers we are full when we are not and we have lost lots of customers as a result. It's a disaster. Pros Integration is so easy, and makes day to day bookings and payments a breeze! Cons Nothing, I love it all! Pros I was using a paper pencil appointment book when I first started 5 years ago. My business grew from a few customers a day to 35 plus a day. I could not have functioned at all or kept up with the customer volume without Revelation Pets. Cons I only wish the program was more customizable. They are doing a good job changing and updating request but it’s a very slow process. If I could have one improvement it would be to have pop up reminder windows for my staff while using the program. Such as “ask customer if they want a bath”, “did you add the late pick up daycare fee to this PM pick up time”. Reasons for choosing Revelation Pets Price and visibly easy in comparison. Integrated with stripe payment makes taking payments and doing refunds super easy. Cons Moving booking on the calendar to fit into spaces can be complicated. Would be easier if new booking filled in spaces of empty pens. I like being able to see every morning who will be arriving and leaving. Cons I didn't like how the price kept creeping up and up. I first applied around 4 years ago and the price was £23.00 per month, it is now over £50, so over double the price within a few years. Pros Price point and the trial got us in the door. It did the trick when we were very small, but once we went of 25 dogs the bugs and workarounds were no longer worth the lower cost. Cons So there are A LOT of bugs. The most impactful one was that for a period, some of our recurring reservations disappeared after the fact and there was no way of recovering that information or knowing how many dogs this happened with. This potentially cost us thousands of dollars. The customer service was very blasé about it. You would think they could offer some compensation like a refund for their software or something. There were many other inconveniences, but this was the biggest issue. They addressed a lot of the minor bugs in a timely manner, but we were told upon joining that they would soon offer the ability for us to sell and keep track of both half-day and full-day reservations, which never happened. We tried keeping track of this manually, but it resulted in spending hours on this because we have different employees checking in or out. This might work for an in home operation with just a few regulars, but not for us. They were recently bought out by gingr, who told us they are not going to be doing any new features. I think the clientele will be switched over to gingr, which we now use and is so far much better. More expensive though.
