Also, the mobile version of this is super crisp and easy to use. Cons Calendar view issue (only shows one dog per day per run for daycare when there are 1 or more from same home sometimes) is being addressed per one of the representatives I emailed. I know if I was working from a diary if never be on top of things !! This does it all keeps me from over booking,and keeps track of payments !! Cons is the online booking - When customers make an online booking they should be completing the full booking info in full,name,address contact info,dogs info,vacs,health etc As when they make a booking threw online I then have to go back to customer and send them a booking form to get all this information !!! So if they adapted this software with a bit more work on the online booking option is say they would have it perfect !!!!! I'd never use any other software for my kennels... The software is intuitive, logically laid out and as a bonus, is actually nice to look at. The software has various features that I have not seen from alternative providers and when I needed help with a certain function or wanted to suggest a potential improvement I found the customer support to be excellent. I was able to export all my customer, pet and vet data into an Excel file which the team at Revelation Pets imported into their software for me - hassle free. Pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the commitment to updates and the swift and helpful support. The free trial is very useful and the support second to none. Being able to import the customer database from a CSV file is a really quick way to get up and running. The calendar screen is currently rather cumbersome in that you can only scroll a day at a time. The toggle view gives you a month's worth, but only for a few pens. They are planning an upgrade to this soon, so I really hope they will include the ability to shrink it to give a much bigger overall view and faster scrolling. Joint Owner Used the software for: ### "It's not as Ruff Ruff as we thought it would be" October 12, 2015 5.0 We have to (reluctantly) migrate from booking software we've been using for three years and with a degree of trepidation we started using Revelation Pets a few weeks ago - and we've been pleasantly surprised. They've helped by moving our customer, dog and vet records and even although their system works in a different way it's clear and easy to use - and in some ways better than our existing software. The added advantage is that Revelation Pets is an on-line system so we can access our booking information from anywhere in the world where we get internet access. Being new to Revelation Pets we've had quite a few questions and without exception the support has been superb (especially from Kate) and prompt. June 24, 2017 5.0 Pros Very user friendly. I looked into other boarding software but came back to this one and they let me do a second trial on it. I had a lot of questions and the customer service is amazingly quick to respond. Cons I only wish the kennel cards would all print out at once for in coming dogs for the day. Well we found it here with Revelations Pets. It's a breeze to set up and we can make bookings even when we are away from home and check availability for prospective clients without having to take a number and needing to call back later so it's also great for customer service. You don't need a degree in computer science to use the system as it is very intuitive and the customisation that you can apply is really fantastic. As with all new systems there is a period of learning and some teething problems but there is not much that hasn't been ironed out by the fantastic customer service team. Over time the system becomes even easier as your client's details are all ready saved and to create a new booking and email them a confirmation just takes a couple of mouse clicks. I can see at a glance how busy we are going to be in the future months, who's coming in and out and who's currently in the cattery. Revelation Pets is great for accessibility - I can literally change or make appointments from anywhere with an internet connection, with most any device. I enjoy being able to look at incoming/outgoing appointments before I even get to the office, the online booking options for clients drastically reduces phone calls and employee time spent making simple appointments and the reminder emails have really helped with our no-show rate. This software has proven to be simple enough to be easy to teach and learn but deep enough to keep and access all the information you would want. Where data will sit on a single pc and is not available at point of use. What sets Revelation Pets apart is the fact that all your data is cloud based and can be accessed from anywhere with internet connection on multiple devices including tablets and phones. The online & Facebook booking feature sets us apart from our competition, as most people now a days do not want to go through the trouble of having to make a phone call. I found Revelation Pet to be extremely cost efficient considering other players in the market. It is extremely easy to use. The second was way too complicated and more for a larger business with staff etc and then I found Revelation pets which was perfect. Dinky dogz is a small affair with up to 30 dogs, a small in house grooming service, no extra staff and we will take a few cats in the future once we have redesigned another building. So you are perfect for our needs and will make a refreshing change from my handwritten diary, my forgetfulness and having what I call " surprise " dogs arriving which are the ones who have booked that I have forgotten to write down. It is easy to use and provides everything you need to run a cattery. The recent improvements make it even better both visually and functionally. The ability to export even more information to Excel makes the system of financial recording far more flexible and the calendar has been extended to give a better view of current and future bookings. The ability to blank off individual runs is something that I had asked for and I am delighted that Revelation Pets listen to their customers and try their utmost to provide a comprehensive service. I do not think I could do without it now and would recommend it to anyone thinking of establishing an Animal Boarding facility. April 11, 2015 5.0 I tried just about every software program out there over a two year period before finally finding Revelation Pets. This is the easiest, most intuitive program out there. I am not tech savy and for the most part, I figured it out just playing around with it. I should mention that I went from a completely paper calendar system - so this was a big leap for me but it is going smoothly. When I have any questions, Kate is extremely quick to respond and offer a solution. Any suggestion or request that I have had about how the software could be tweaked to work better for me has been addressed immediately. Business Owner Used the software for: ### "Quck and Easy to get your head around" August 25, 2015 4.0 when we were notified that our current kennel software program was winding down, the thought or transferring all of our data appeared daunting to say the least. This program offers a lot of new features and we especially like that we can link booking requests to Facebook and our webpage. Initially the set up took some time and then it was a fairly simple process to manage the first booking. What really impressed us was the level and speed of the back up support, issues were fixed within hours even to the point of a glitch in the services bookings. would I recommend this program, hell yes, I think this will have a huge impact on the ease of running our business. January 19, 2016 4.0 When our former software provider decided not to continue we chose Revelation as the best alternative based on their speedy response to our myriad queries. Not being a "kennel" but offering home boarding meant that we had to be fairly inventive in using the system to meet our needs, but the support we had was fantastic and enabled a relatively smooth transition. Any suggestions we had as to ways in which the system could perhaps be adapted to help us were listened to sympathetically and we have been delighted with the quality and simplicity of advice given.
