Overall experience has been good. Very user friendly and I can easily find documents and areas I need to access. When something needs my attention, I always get notifications which means I don't miss anything important or useful.

Pros

I like the customization of my profile. It allows our employees to really make the space their own with things like their likes and hobbies and such.

Cons

I do have some issues with logging in sometimes. I think it's more likely my own network, but I have to put in my credentials twice to login.

### "A great Intranet"

My experience with Axero has been very positive. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and has greatly improved our team’s communication and collaboration. Its clean interface and strong features make it easy to share information and stay organized. Overall, Axero has streamlined workflows and enhanced productivity across our organization.

Pros

The technical support is really great. The site is very user-friendly. The admin side has a bit of a learning curve.

Cons

Nothing major, continue adding features. i.e. more reactions to comments would be nice, besides just the thumbs up.

### "Easy and customizable platform"

Pros

The ability to customize and its ease of use. It fairly easy to teach others to use it and they usually like the layout which is important when you first show your collegues their new platform of communication.

Cons

There are some functionality which should be available but isnt. Its very important to make a platform like this blend in with the rest of the company software. And also to make visually appealing there should be available default images to use for posts. Like the icons that already exists but a bigger version for the "carddeck" function for instance. Also Calendar sync. with outlook would be great otherwise nobody is going to use the calendar. @mention people should be possible everywhere. Online live collaboration on word docs (google docs) would be nice. Permissions should be faster to set up, especially for files (isnt there any better way to set permissions then going through every folder?)

A great feature is the seamless integration of document management, communication, and collaboration tools into one secure, easy-to-use platform.

Cons

The platform is not completely intuitive at first, especially when it comes to designing and organizing Spaces. Setting up the site structure and customizing areas for different teams requires some time and experimentation. Once configured, day-to-day use becomes easier, but initial setup can be challenging for those unfamiliar with intranet design.

Good. They are very communicative, take good meeting notes, and have a nice support ticket site. There are many enhancements we are looking forward to.

Pros

Being able to have spaces / groups / etc is really helpful to limit unwanted content. I also enjoy the page builder section and thought there were a lot of really cool options.

Cons

I had to do some manual work to get widgets the way I liked, but oh well that's fine. I would enjoy more language translation enhancements and more metadata and functional possibilities with integrated content from SharePoint.

As an information organization platform, it's pretty ideal and intuitive to use. The things you need most are easiest to get to and utilize, the extended things just a few more steps away. We base all of our companies internal communication decisions on Axero first.

Pros

Wide array of features and capabilities aimed at all the most common and obvious file sharing and information managament needs, plus lots more to find the longer you keep using it. Great, comfortable learning curve.

Cons

Some of the more advanced functions are a bit hard to find, but once you get used to navigating it's all there.

My overall experience with Axero has been positive. I find it easy to access information from other departments, and company updates are clear and visible to everyone since notifications are automatically sent out. Recently, we launched our Wellness Space, which makes it simple for employees to share their fitness journeys. While wellness may not be directly work-related, it plays an important role in supporting our employees’ overall well-being.

Pros

We are a tech company with a fully remote workforce spread across different countries. Axero is our company intranet, serving as the hub for internal communications such as updates, blogs, and department-specific information through dedicated Spaces. It also houses essential resources, including branding materials, presentation templates, and our internal knowledge base for various departments.

Cons

Axero can take some time to learn because it is highly customizable. You need to understand how to configure individual pages, and in some cases, customization may require coding. As the saying goes, if you want the platform to truly reflect your company’s vision, it will take significant effort to build and refine it and I don't think that's a bad thing just add a designated person solely for updating or refining spaces.

Axero is incredibly easy to use and the Axero team is SUPER helpful on all ends. I feel so supported by the software AND the team.

Pros

I have no prior experience in content management or building intranets and I picked up how to build it out immediately. The communifire documentation will have an answer to practically anything you need to know. IF you can't find what you need there, the Axero team will be there to save you!

Cons

We are integrating a LOT with axero and we truly believe that sky is the limit for our intranet. With that said, we've run into a few instances where our hopes and dreams are a little too precise/outlandish and Axero can't always accommodate what we would like to build. However, they always help us find workarounds to get us where we need to be!

Reason for choosing Axero

They could support the integrations we needed and also had a better UX than our previous vendor.

Pros

Hands down the most used function is the discussion boards and it really helps bring our employees together to help one another! This helps them understand answers from their peers and helps build credibility. They find it easy to start and to review answers. I also think the mix of home office employees in the answers helps our people to feel that we are approachable as gatekeepers! I also love the customizable site. We can easily change and update the site to align with marketing campaigns and keep it looking fresh for our users.

Cons

The thing we struggle with the most is the analytics. We would love to see a deeper understanding of how our teams are using spaces and information + make it very easy for regional managers to follow-up on outstanding items. If we could give RMs access to a report that clearly states who is missing what items - that would make a world of difference!

It is not going into year 4 and we still have sessions on a regular basis to understand our goals and needs for the platform, but also continuously innovate and offer more awesome new features

Their availability to support us scaling quickly. I also enjoyed their flexibility in taking all our requests to find us the best solutions four our knowledge base. It's a one stop shop.

Cons

A few limitations we hit while building out certain site contents, however, they have proven to provide workaround that have not diminished our initial needs.

The document management, and file sharing is great. This was the major piece we were missing in our internal communication platforms, and Axero solved this.

Cons

It is a little expensive, I would say. Small organizations might not be able to afford this. Can't think of any other con though.

### "Great intranet solution with room for improvement"

Pros

Overall the Axero intranet is very user-friendly, and it is a great tool to get important content and information to your people. You have the ability to create eye-catching pages, and custom pages for people based on their role/team in the company. There is a lot you can do with this intranet. Axero's customer support team is also very responsive. They usually get back to my questions and requests within minutes, and most of the time have the issue resolved the same day. They are very patient and willing to walk you through anything to make sure you're set up for success.

Cons

My biggest con with the Axero intranet is blog layouts. I know Axero offers a lot of widgets for pages, but I wish they had those same options for blogs. As of right now, you cannot easily insert image galleries, polls/surveys, buttons, etc. into a blog. You can create your own HTML templates to achieve this, but I wish they came as default options. We have also run into a few issues when Axero does its regular maintenance updates. Sometimes when these updates happen our site breaks. Axero has always been helpful to get the site back up and running though. They have also been better at letting us know when these updates will occur so we can spot check our site to make sure it is good to go.

Overall we've been extremely satisfied with the results of our implementation. The Support team is highly responsive and our associates were very pleased with our new site.

Pros

\- Page creation and the drag/drop method for widgets made it easy to learn. - System administration is fairly simple and automated user provisioning was a big win. - Customization was key for us and we were able to brand the site in alignment with our standards. - The support team we received during implementation was superb.

Cons

The software has room for growth in the areas of security logging and profile automation. We've been very pleased, however, with Axero's willingness to speak with us about the identified improvements and discuss whether it could be on the roadmap in the future.

This is less about the software which works great but we really pushed the team/software with our custom integrations. The team is responsive and talented. Patient and knowledgeable!

Cons

Some of the features could be more intuitive and posting functionalities could mirror the larger social networks since many users compare that funtion to them (LinkedIn, etc.).

Overall, we are very happy with the product and have had great adoption and feedback from our users. Only a few limitations on customization and integrations, but we have still been able to accomplish most of what we were looking for - increased adoption & analytics, optimized search, organized layout and easy navigation, and trust security via Okta.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Axero, an intranet solution that seeks to improve collaboration within the workplace. Inspired by the power of wikis, Axero is a document management system that has been designed to allow for a heightened sense of community and sharing within teams. It allows for "document collaboration" and has an integration with Microsoft SharePoint.The platform supports a variety of types of documents including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDFs.

Pros

I use Axero in a company where we are a self-service, self-learning environment, so I know how important it is to have a tool that provides access to all of the documents and information that I need. It is incredibly important for me to be able to access all of the knowledge that I have gained from my career and from my own education.

Cons

My overall experience has been flawless and I have had no issues.

Sometimes there are glitches and we either just let them be or I continuously reach out for help. Also it would be nice to have more flexibility with some of the requirements to follow when posting.

### "Good Product"

Pros

Communifire is a good portal engine. It has a lot of power and it allows us to communicate effectively with our employees. It gives a professional look and feel which gives employees confidence in the company.

Cons

The software is a bit expensive. There is a lot of value, but I'm not convinced it's enough to justify the cost.

### "An All-In-One Solution for all Business Communication / Collaboration Needs"

Pros

I have been using Communifire for the past 6 months and it has helped streamline communication and collaboration at various touchpoints within my business. Here are the list of Pros I could identify... 1) Very easy to use. If you know Facebook, navigating Communifire would be a breeze. 2) Covers almost all aspects of communication in a structured and seamless manner. 3) Allows the creation of teams and topics which allow me to collate and find important pieces of information which are otherwise scattered when using emails. 4) Inexpensive compared to other leading solutions. Flexible plans incorporating pay-as-you-go for small to large team sizes. 5) Highly customizable and does not require the help of expensive third party implementers.

### "Great, customizable intranet"

Pros

Love the customizations available especially through CSS overrides and the ability to turn certain features on or off (ie chat).

Cons

The mobile app isn't customizable like the website it.
