been with them from 2018 left in 2020. come back in 2022 . up to 2 weeks again i would have given then a 5 but all as gone wrong. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]is AMAZING .great customer services. after overbooking me last week then again this week and next week i got 5 people in one room.(that i do not have) I would lose it with support. Expedia sent me a bill for 101.00 to re-locate guest. i ask what is going on was told it was expedia error. talk to expedia was told it was queenbought error. going around in circle. I ask to leave told no. sent them a bill for the cost incurred, was call yestoday and told would be cut off in 24 hours that 5pm today. 24 hours notice not a lot of notice but they are giving me my money back. be carefull with hidden charges. great business sense 24 hours noice to cut you off.

Hi Luke. Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, you decided to depart Q-Book because you were unhappy about the transaction fees incurred using our optional Secure Payment Gateway. Details about this optional service were transparent and relayed to you before signing up verbally and in writing. Separately, the overbooking you refer to is a direct result of a configuration error created within your Expedia account. The issue being that you linked a five-person occupancy against a room type which only supports four. Off the back of this and your unhappiness about optional transaction fees, we understood that you no longer wanted to continue with Q-Book and processed a 100% refund to you, despite using Q-Book for 7 months. After your discussion with Paul, we gave you 24 hours to gather data from Q-Book. We carefully considered your forward bookings and provided a reasonable and fair time frame. From the team, we wish you and Habberly House all the very best in your future endeavours.

No secure link with pitchup. They integrate by asking users to supply their pitchup username and password which is totally insecure.

More on line bookings for our bed and breakfast business

Pros

The Queensborough Group have been the web page providers since 2008, for our small bed and breakfast business, Browns of Holbeck, and what an excellent service they provide. The staff are very helpful, deal with any enquiries in a very professional way, and are always friendly too. They have just created in May 2018 a wonderful new web page for us, it displays our business to its best advantage. It makes is easy for us to update and for guests to book on line to stay here.

Cons

I like everything about this software, it is practical, easy to use and makes updating the web page very easy.

Great value and the channel manager is free, they also offer good support if required.

Pros

Queensborough Group is one of the best companies I have dealt with in the 13 years I'have run a bed and breakfast. Their system is easy to use, visually as well as technically. As a company they are the MOST responsive I have ever experienced. They really do listen to their customers and if a suggestion I make is a viable option they act on it often immediately.The staff are always cheerful, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices are reasonable and the channel manager is free to use. I have never had any problems with the system and guests seem to find it easy to use as well.

We would just like to tell you how delighted we are with the new website which Queensborough Group have created for us; and with the excellent service and support we have received from you and your colleagues throughout the process. Although our old website was looking very dated, we were aprehensive about making a change thinking that the process would be expensive, time consuming and disruptive to our on-line presence. In fact we need not have worried because Queensborough have made it so easy, quick ( it was up and running in about 36 hours!) and excellent value for money. We selected a standard template, wondering whether it would be able to reflect the individuality of our property and never imagining that the finished article could look so fantastic. Our old website was content managed for us by a local firm. The Queensborough system, which came along with the new website is brilliant. It gives us complete control over our content and is so easy to use. We are really enjoying playing with it and keeping our website updated and refreshed. The fact that everything is linked to Q-book makes it completely synergistic and so simple to use. At first we had lots of questions and requests for tweaks here and there which were answered and dealt with promptly and without any fuss or additional cost. Faultless service from everyone at Queensborough! Thank you Amy and thanks to all your colleagues at Queensborough who have helped us with this and produced such an excellent result.

I love it. I think the new system is fantastic.....and I'm not kidding I have more flexibility with my room designations, pricing and descriptions I can email my guests asking them for feedback upon departure I can manually adjust availability with guest details - even more now I can add a quick reservation I can see where my guests have come from. The whole thing is great!

Took our money then did not deliver website. Got to first proof stage then could get no response whatsoever out of them. They don't respond to phone calls. We would recommend freetobook where real people speak to you and go out of their way to help and seriously it is a free booking engine 'tho you can grade up if you wish.

We feel that your review does not highlight the true events of what happened, nor does it reflect a traditional experience with The Queensborough Group. We have thousands of very satisfied customers! From start to finish, the design-build was problematic. We have a very detailed log of all our correspondence between you and our website designers. For months and months on end, we had tried our utmost to contact you by phone/email/in writing with regard to getting the approval of the drafts we had already completed, as we were keen to complete and deliver the finished product as promised. As the website is bespoke it's imperative that we had your input. I understand you have a very busy b&b to run and it was sometimes difficult to communicate with us, however, how can we be expected to publish a drafted website without your approval? How about you let us finish the design and we can work together again?
