After meeting with a number of companies in this space it became clear to us that Samanage was our best option. Presently we are at the very beginning of our Samanage experience. So far we are very happy with the quality of the product and the support provided in order to tailor it to our needs. We are looking to use this product in a slightly different way so customer support at this stage is paramount. We are pleased with Samanage's responsiveness and are very optimistic that their product will eventually well serve our needs.

pros: I do enjoy how the system is set up inventory wise. It set up in a way that you can easily make changes to inventory items without having to go into the actual item inventory selection. cons: Our supervisors and directs receive email notifications when a help desk ticket comes to them for approval in the system. Some of our directors do not approve or deny the ticket when they receive the notification, so they delete the notification, or it expires. Being able to go back in and resend the notification would be very helpful.

The hub customization is very easy and can be very informative. Product can increase efficiency due to simplicity. Easily pull up reports necessary to analyze efficiency. Vendor support is great.

Pros

One of the things that I like is the ability to provide feedback of the service I'm receiving from the IT Team. The other thing is that I can have visibility on everything I ask from the portal and to be able to look through the articles stored in the system.

Cons

I would like to have more visual resources in the dashboard and in the reports. The charts are all bar charts. There is a whole charts world out there!

Cons

As easy as it is to tailor the tool to your needs within it's limits, it's limits are very definite. There isn't any unique ways to customize the tool outside of the provided features.

We have been replacing a legacy Asset Management system with Samanage, and it's been painless. The software itself is very intuitive, and when needed support is there either real time or within minutes not days. When we couldn't get Samanage to do what we wanted to out of the box, we had them work with us using the API and have made our vision come to reality. This is an excellent product with great people and service to back it up. I can definitely recommend this product and company without reservation!

Everything works super smoothly and achieved all my expectation with this product. It is also extremely super easy to set up.

Cons

Emails may not work sometimes. And also Im not having a much more ability to edit when some features runs like auto-scan.

I love the logmein integration. The ease of use to put in tickets. Customization options.

Cons

Nothing 100% happy. If i have to put one thing it would be the logmein setup. its just that i had to call logmein to get the code for setup info samanage.

Pros

The product is very user-friendly and easy to use. The vendor, Samanage, offers very good support and was able to support me through the couple minor issues I had during setup.

Cons

There is bug in the system now with changing colors of fonts on the portal. It's not a huge issue, and they intend to fix this issue. A little bit more consult and procedure for implementing the product. The pricing was very reasonable for a medium-size business, and I feel Samanage gives us room for growth in the future and minimizes the time required to maintain a server and application like others would.

When our previous helpdesk system failed last year we were in need of a replacement. This software has helped us to gain the metrics and reporting we were looking for in a helpdesk system. We also coupled it with asset management which has allowed us to maintain records of our support renewals. Another great feature of the software would have to be the satisfaction surveys. It has helped us to gauge our teams performance and customer satisfaction. We couldn't be happier with Samanage as our helpdesk provider.

We've been using Samanage for the past 9 months or so and it has been great! They gave us great pricing compared to some other companies. The support is good. They answer your emails and questions quickly and will help you if you are having a hard time figuring something out. One of the hardest things to understand is the Roles and how to order the rights in those roles. Some trial & error in this part for us. Overall, we are happy with this product and plan to use it again next year.

The whole functionality of the solution, especially the integration with asset management was very good. The contact with the sales representatives was also very good, and the service is excellent

Cons

There is nothing in the product that I don't like. The only thing missing is that there is no an app available, but the solution works perfectly in the browser of my smartphone.

Samanage is not the "geekiest" helpdesk tool out there but that is not what we needed. We needed a tool that helped us communicate better with our customers and amongst ourselves end enabled us to move all communications out of email and into a helpdesk tool. And we needed a tool that helped us manage and meet customer expectations easily. Samanage has met all o these needs exceedingly well. We are very happy with this tool. Samanage is also backed up with great support.

The top reason is its integration with Google Apps. Our users don't need a separate logon to access samanage and can submit a ticket directly from Gmail. We are also making great use of the workflow and asset tracking capabilities. I like that it's in the Cloud, as that's a strategic direction for IT at our organization. Lastly, the continual improvements rolled out (including their willingness to make changes based on our feedback) make Samanage a good choice for the future.

i own and operate a Property Preservation Service, and I can say we would be lost without Samanage. Between our Sales Dept / Realty Dept and processing Dept we have over 300 Desktop systems. This does not include our Laptops and Android tablets for the Field. Samanage works perfectly with all of our systems. Our IT Dept is able spend there time working on issues within my company and no time worrying about the It software. A complete package. Will save you time and money

We have only been using the Samanage product for a short time but already it is delivering huge benefits. Implementation was very straightforward and we were up and running in no time at all. For the first time we have an up-to-date asset list and can link incidents to assets directly. This product is streets ahead of other Helpdesk applications in its usability and reporting capabilities. I thoroughly recommend the Samanage product suite and support service.

Due to a technician not accepting the return of its laptop whilsht being fired we realised that we needed a proper Asset management tool. We started to find the web and did a couple of comparisions. By far Samanage was the easy and quick to deploy one. The real deal was after the first steps. There was much more in the box, a complete, ITIL compliant and easy to deploy system for organising and streamlining all the company's procceses. My personal Life Jacket
