It makes filing our medical claims easier, and allows us a great place to store past claims for easy access.

Pros

This software is easy to use, and helps make submitting medical claims easier for our Oral Surgery Practice. It alleviates the need to keep medical claim forms on hand, since it can print them in color right from the software. I like that it stores the information for each patient's claim right in the software, so we can refer back to it if there are questions.

Cons

Setting up the original template was a little tricky, but once we figured it out it worked really well.

Pros

I like that it's easy to fill out the form, and that it saves information so you're not having to re-enter insurance company, provider, place of service. It automatically backs up my claims. It is very easy to update information to resubmit a claim if necessary.

Cons

The limited license only allows me to create claims on one computer. It would be nice if I could create claims on other devices.

Pros

Easy to use. I like how it automatically sends you updates and does it on its own. This software is easy to navigate and work with

Cons

The only con I have is customer support can be a little frustrating at times. Whenever I have an issue it seems to be pushed onto the other party involved without really any clarification at all. However, they are quick to respond when reaching out to them.

Have been using for 5 years. Easy to use. Happy with the software. Some minor recommendations to increase ease of use.

Pros

Like the auto populated features.

Cons

I would like to print reports. I would like to save the bill on PDF so I can email it out OR be able to email it directly from this program. Would be nice that I could set value to the CPT codes (and be able to change as its updated) so it is auto populated.

Makes billing quick and easy for those companies that we still have to paper bill.

Pros

I love that is saves all information for future billing and prompts you for an update if it notices something different in additional billing.

Cons

I do not like when adding a new insurance company that it never wants to save it. It could be error on my part except that I add the same as I did on initial set up

Ease of use, Faster Claim processing, Less headache

Pros

If you do any kind of medical bill compliance, then you will like this. I have found that this software is much more user friendly and makes speeds up my claims process by saving common Codes used in my field. I previously would have to reenter the same codes, over and over.

Cons

I enjoy this software. However, if you work in other industries (outside of healthcare), this probably isn't the solution for you. Everyone else in healthcare, enjoy!!

saved additional expense in that we did not need to hire another billing person - office thus more efficient.

Pros

It saves information we already have entered and is easy to reaccess. Has saved some payroll expense in that was not necessary to hire another billing person

Cons

Using the prompts on the computer keyboard is sometimes a little confusing. Not quite as 'user friendly' as it could be.

Pros

Speedy Claims is so easy to use. I am able to save all of my information in the system so that I don't have to type it in every time. I also love how the lay out is exactly like the 1500 form I use, and it's self explanatory.

Cons

There is nothing that I don't like. I have been using this system for over 5 years now and I haven't had any issues with it.

Pros

Intuitive and easy to use. Easy to click through and fill out fields. Like that often patient changes can be made on current claim and saved to patient record if desired.

Cons

When updated/correcting an address or phone in patient table, it doesn't automatically make same changes on 'insurance' page, therefore have to make the changes twice.

Once this product was purchased for us here in the Fiscal Department of Penndel Mental Health Center is made my life so much easier to process the claims that have to be sent to secondary payors. I can do from 50 to sometimes 100 claims per day.

Pros

Very easy to use this product and I like that it is not complicated like most software.

Cons

There is nothing that I do no like about this software

I didn't have to go out and buy an expensive software. It is very simple to use and we've never had any issues.

Pros

Ease of use! Updates are always on time. The database is well maintained and easy to access and the price is right!

Cons

I can't say there is anything that I dislike. The software is always up to date. The copy and paste function is very helpful.

This software has freed up a lot of time for me that was being wasted with other billing software. The ease of use is incredible.

Pros

The ease of use. The CMS 1500 form is clear and very easy to print. Printing is spot on every time.

Cons

There are some glitches with preparing secondary claims but in all fairness, I haven't addressed them with the company.

An Easy way to bill when i need to submit paper claims

Pros

I like the ease of use and using it as a client data base. Also it is good to bill when the insurance needs a paper copy.

Cons

Running reports or printing a specific groups of claims can be tricky. Not all aspects or fields are searchable.

Pros

The ease of use and the support staff at Speedy make my workload easier. I was able to navigate the new Clearinghouse situation with no true issues for regular CMS 1500 forms.

Cons

UB 04 - having issues with clearinghouse, NOT Speedy. Speedy was quick to advise me what Clearinghouse can work best with this software

its easy to access and understand . and easy to learn and when you print and close the claims that you did it stays in the program . So if insurance verify about the claim you have the copy of it

is too easy to change history of claims that have been paid and closed. Would like an option to lock files and a given point.

Hi, Some users mark the claim as paid then deactivate it. This causes the claim to be hidden from the list but still in the database and accessible whenever you need it. Call us, we will be glad to show you how to do this.

It allows me to print and mail paper claims as needed for my business.

Pros

It is easy to save and print claims. It allows different options for printing each claim. It automatically backs up my claims.

Cons

Sometimes I do have to refer to the manual regarding the templates. I also have to refer to the manual when copying claims, at times. I think this is because I am a therapist and do all my own billing so this just takes me longer.

Needed a simple software for a few claims. Really simple set up and wish I knew about this software before using something else that doesn't work now and was 4 times the amount of money.

Pros

Easy, simple, gets the job done.

Cons

Wish there was a way to see how long claims were waiting for payment. A reminder for claims that have been passed 90 days.

Easy to use. Easy to navigate through to get a completed claim. Easy to adjust and perfect printing options.

Cons

Gliching and having to update. My stick would often get glitches. Causing me to have to start claims over and over. Eventually had to purchase new software due to these malfunctions.

This is a great software for any medical practice using paper claims. It is very easy to input data as well as make any corrections if necessary. And it saves the claim so you can just update medical data without having to re-enter personal information.

Pros

The ease of using this software is truly exceptional.

Cons

There are really no negatives. Perhaps figuring out a way for the 'charges' in Box 24F to automatically appear when entering the CPT code in box 24D might be helpful. Also, it might be helpful to be able to get a list of pre-installed CPT codes or ICD 10 codes by specialty so that one does not have to enter this information. However, this is really not a big deal for our office.

The software is user friendly. Even non-tech people can use with ease. You can set a template to use over and over. Saves money, time and prints seamlessly!

Cons

You can only print one form-not a copy unless you change something on the form. They should allow an original and copy to be printed.

Easy to use by all ages. Easy to train new staff. No fumbling for pages. Everything is there in front of you. Wonderful for providers dealing with mega insurance companies.

Pros

Finding inactive claims by patient or insurance companies is a wonderful thing.

Cons

Sometimes if 1 letter is off in the name there's difficulty in finding it.
