It is easy to create new profiles, input data, and submit claims. I am old school and prefer paper, but the electronic is also easy to use. Cons I am completely satisfied. I would not change or upgrade to a more complicated system. At worst if one fails to print the first CMS form there may be duplicates for the same submission but besides that very easy to use. I have to go back and change them to senr a claim. I have cut back on my practice and plan to retire soon. Your program has been a great help with ICD 9, but not so much with ICD 10. When I had a problem with our computer I got a lot of support with reinstalling this program. I like it for the most part but this version is a lot better. I find it extremely easy to use. I am not very tech savvy. Pros It is user friendly. The claim form is what you see is what you get. Vast improvement over previous version. Cons I don't like that when I have started a claim and don't have the doctor's info I have to save the claim. The ease of use and functionality was outstanding. When I started printing them they were slightly off. I went into the printer area and had an easy time adjusting the answers up or down or left and right so the information lined up with the red medical claim form. They have an easy system to add new procedure codes. I manually enter them. There might be a way to import procedure codes but I have not found out how. Diagnostic codes are also easy to enter and save for latter use. Cons Every time I update a claim it creates a new copy instead of over writing the last claim. This is a little frustrating. I go back in and delete the old claim. I think this may be a safety issue and they want to protect me from deleting something important. You can manage multiple facilities as well as easy search functions; ie; Patient name, Facility, creation date. Cons the time it takes to move through claimsits a little ironic the name is SPEEDY soft, because it takes at least 45 seconds to open a file and 45 seconds to save a file. It is very easy to use and to figure out how to do something new. Pros Easy to use. Keeps history for reference when claims are paid long after they were submitted. Cons When a patient changes insurance companies, addresses, etc., it is difficult to deal with. If I "update" the file, I lose the historical info. If I create a new file, the new file info does not automatically come up as the default. There is an affiliated billing aspect to this software, but I never integrated it with my own system. Pros Speedy Claims is easy to use. When I need help the clarity of accompanying instructions is refreshing. And, when I need technical support, the patience, dedication, and availability of technicians cannot be beat. Finally the software is reliable with constant improvements. Outstanding! Cons Painfully, they don't have a version for Mac! I have to rely on "Parallels Software" to use Speedy Claims now that I am a Mac user. I have been doing this for over 10 years now. Eventually I have to find this kind of software for Mac.
