Pros Ease of use, all needs met in one software, decreases time for therapists and office staff to get daily tasks done. Cons Some minor software quirks, but Pariox has updated and improved based on recommendations and all things are workable. Easy to use offline app. I use 8 different types of Home Health software and Pariox is the best. Most of the agencies we work with use comprehensive software that includes all home health disciplines. Many of these agencies prefer Pariox over their own (native) systems. Pariox is a vital tool for efficient and effective documentation and communication. Gone are the days of keeping multiple files and juggling piles of paper while on the road. I no longer need to wait for evaluations to be processed prior to scheduling a patient visit. With just a few clicks, all pertinent information is available, even on my smart phone. It is easy to keep clinical supervisors updated via the comment section, and to coordinate scheduling with other disciplines. Pariox has had a huge impact on both saving time and money (no frequent trips to the office store for ink and paper, or running to the post office on Saturday mornings). It helps manage my caseload through scheduling ease, interdisciplinary communication, as well as scheduling our required 13/19/30th visit re-assessments. It takes the work out of scheduling through "alerts" when a re-assessment is coming up so it is completed timely in accordance to CMS rules. Pariox is a one stop shop where we can see our patients demographics, MD information, certification period, etc - as well as complete our documentation. The latest addition of e-signatures helps with mailing cost because we don't have to mail paper DAR's to the office. Before Pariox, I used a spreadsheet system, which was very time consuming, to manage my caseload and the caseload of the therapists that I supervise. I could not imagine working in the home health arena without Pariox. I am currently using two different software systems for other agencies and they do not compare to Pariox. It is very user friendly as I am not computer savvy in any way. I also use Pariox to look at original orders and communicate amongst all disciplines. Would highly recommend this program to all home health agencies to prevent errors and compliance with all of Medicare rules (13th, 19th, 30 day, etc). The Pariox support team is consistently bettering the product to assist the admin, supervising, and clinician staff. With the addition of e-forms and most recently, e-signatures, verifying clinicians' notes and billing has become quite a breeze. With the new e-signature feature, verification of clinicians' notes allows billing/invoicing to be completed sooner as admin staff doesn't have to wait for paper DARs to arrive via mail or hand deliver. Just a click to verify, print, and you are ready to bill as the invoice is automatically generated. This one click also transfers to the clinician's payroll. Monitoring of the CMS 13/19/30 Rule is a snap with the weekly updating of therapy visit counts, alerts, and admin reports. Clinicians can see at a glance when these important reassessments are due. I've been using Pariox for several years now and can't imagine going back to using manual spreadsheets for monitoring caseloads. Two agencies, whom with we have contracts, have their own software product which seems more complicated and "busy" than the easy to maneuver around Pariox product. Pariox offers free webinar training to new clients and also very informative, bi-weekly webinars to any clinician or admin staff, complete with a Q&A session afterwards to address your specific question, if it hasn't been addressed.
