I love the fact that it is on its own server not linked in to the internet which makes it so safe and reliable and we have never had it crash and when you have thousands of accounts with hundreds of thousands of dollars and personal info that only makes sense. Secondly when there is any question or problem you will get it answered or solved with one simple phonecall to Datacon. I've known Flo and most of the gang for many years and everyone is so helpful!!!!

Datacon software receives an A+. The software just makes sense. It is very easy to learn and use. It also is capable to do every task imaginable. Now let's talk about their support team, they get an A+ as well. The team is able to answer all your questions immediately, they have extensive knowledge and experience not only with the Datacon sofware but also with customer service. Any office who uses a different practice management software product is truly missing out.

Our practice recently purchased the Datacon system after a year's worth of using a highly-touted practice management software program that turned out to be riddled with errors, data conversion issues and difficulty of use. How refreshing it was to "get" a system after only a week's use where our previous system is still being figured out after well over a year now. This program has all the features of an $8000 program at a quarter of the price. While admittedly there were some data conversion issues from our old system, we can't be sure the problem lied with Datacon or the ineptitude of our previous system. In any event the support staff have gone well beyond what would be expected, even coming in on their days off, to remedy any problems, making our initial launch as seamless as possible. While like any system it lacks certain features we "wished" we had (no system has everything) we thus far can see no negatives about the program, support, or ease of use. The ability of this program, in fact the recommendation, to be used on a Mac is a huge plus from a stability and virus free standpoint and is virtually nonexistent in the dental practice management software biz (take it from a practice whose antivirus software once nearly wiped out the entire database on our previous system were it not for careful backups; again an undetected flaw in a program that already had to be rewritten twice prior). Highly recommended and very happy are the best accolades an office can give. So far Datacon has been given both.
