### "We use the software daily and it works very well with our Claris intraoral cameras"

This software allows me to capture images from my claris camera and works wonderful.

Pros

It makes it easy for my entire staff to use the intraoral cameras and save images once taken. We use the cameras every day at multiple office locations and we never have a problem. As a matter of fact, I can't think of an easier way for us to capture images than with the Sota software. Capterra is the best!

Simple and quick. Providers and staff like it. Worked with existing sensors and clinical software.

Pros

Simplicity and ease of use for clinical staff. Ability to send links to X-rays eliminating the need to email or burn disks or use flash drives.

Cons

Not much. It did take a while to transfer X-rays to the cloud from our legacy system.

Higher productivity and enjoy the quality.

Pros

Interface and ease of use. Staff loves it especially the charting features and content transfered to office software.

Cons

Cost. Always the cost. If the price point was at a decent level. This program would sell to all offices.

Pros

Customer service & support was always there when we need them. Communication was top notch.

Cons

Exporting functions were compatible with every website we use, but we were easily able to work with \[sensitive content hidden\] to find a solution

Our team have been using Sota for a couple of months and like the user friendliness, the simplicity of taking and importing x-rays.

Pros

cloud-based, nice image quality, user friendly and importing x-rays is easy.

Cons

conversion from our previous software was a little more complicated than anticipated.

Wonderful experience and the convenience of cloud base where xrays and photos can be reviewed anywhere

Pros

Very easy to integrate with my pms. On boarding was flawless. I have been using it for 3 months with zero issues.

Cons

Nothing, the software is great. I don't ha E any problems with it.

Peace of mind during the implementation process. There were no downtime during our transition even during the image conversion. The support team were prompt and friendly.

Pros

User friendly interface. Easy to navigate. Works well with our sensors. Clear X-ray images.

Cons

Having to purchase for extra features - AI, Patient Files, Device Health monitoring, etc.

Overall, great experience with SOTA compared to other Cloud imaging systems. Great process and you can't beat the quality of images.

Pros

Great onboarding process, everything was made simple and they explain the process in great detail laying everything out step-by-step.

Cons

The only con I've experienced so far is the wait time with technical support via the phone. There has been a few times I've called for urgent support and I get led to the voicemail.

Pros

The software integrates well with my existing practice software. It is very simple to learn and use daily with most patients. All of my staff were able to quickly learn the functions available and use on a daily basis. The image quality and comparable, if not better, than other major brands I have previously used for the past twelve years of dental career. I find that the initial investment was well worth it and hope to get many additional years of quality use and function out of this software.

Cons

What do I least like about this software? Well, considering all the other competition on the market, the cost is fairly high comparable to major other name brands on the market. Not that the software is not worth the investment, I really like and appreciate the software. However, like most other products on the market, the cost can always be a factor .

Clear images that are easy to read and manipulate. Automatic function to find patients and quickly access them.

Cons

It does not aggregate images of teeth. The import of other digital xrays cannot be altered to fit dates.

Hello Dr. Kim, The date on the exam will always reflect the date that the images were imported, however, individual images within that exam can be modified with the date the image was acquired using the blue set date button located on the left side of the modify exam screen. As long as tooth numbers have been assigned to your images, the history button can be used to view and compare images side by side.

We went from developing x-rays to this software several years back and I have never needed or had the desire to look at other companies.

Pros

I selected this software several years ago due to the friendliness and touch screen capability. Anytime I call into customer service my call is answered in by a live person and issues are resovlved or they work directly with my IT company

Cons

It has nothing to do with Sota Imaging's software, its my server that creates a slower loading period.

Good tool for patient education/ information; adjunct for dental claims

Pros

Good images most of the time, ease of use , compatible to my software, easy installation, tech support was fast the first time we used it, have not had any problem since we bought it.

Cons

Blurry image with barrier is place, can be smaller for ease of use, can not see image well when camera becomes foggy or wet

Easy to use x-ray imaging software.

Pros

The software is relatively easy to use, and the user interface is attractive. I have not had any issues with customer support either.

Cons

Because of where the buttons are placed, it is easy to accidentally delete an image, and it is impossible to retrieve it after it's been deleted.

Pros

Ease of use, is predictable, integrates with dental software, contains features to alter the image ( magnify,rotate) . You could draw on the image or make notations.

Cons

The updates are nit always automaticaly installed or advertised. Sometimes the quality of xray image is not the best.

I find the software very user friendly. It was easy to setup. I find the images are clear and sharp resulting in good printable images.

Cons

Nothing really. We like the easy setup. We found that this required minimal training. We actually have it on multiple computers.

Cons

Do not have one button to crisp ALL images, have to go to sharpen and save image one by one which is a waste of time

We no longer have to use dip and dunk system for x-rays. The wait time is so much less than manually processing x-rays.

Pros

It is simple to teach someone how to use this product. The images are easily viewed and can be enlarged with very clear diagnostic ability.

Cons

the only problem is that it does not integrate with dentrix. It would be better if you could just figure out a way to be able to transfer images into any program.

Easy to use. Few functions but vital & practical tools. Customer services & technical supports are very promptly available

Cons

Wish that it could be retrieved from multiple workstations simultaneously. Sometime the software MUST be closed down & reopen to access to the specific patient's file.

Perfect integration into our own dental software. When you call the company someone answers right away as there is no phone tree. Very helpful.

Cons

Must call the company to install it on each and every computer for the first time. Not user centric but most sensors are not.

Pros

Simple and easy to use. Very straightforward to implement and works well with camera. The support is what really makes this product and the people are very helpful.

Cons

Cost of camera is pretty high especially given the Competition. Doesn't work inside Practiceworks practice management software. You have to switch back and forth. Not very convenient.
