Good, working with onboarding was smooth. They SUPER helped me get going at lightening fast speed because of our specific situation - main reason company built goodwill in my mind. Tech support - jury is still out.

Pros

Ease of communication with implementation specialist, intuitive GUI, smooth data conversion, speed of onboarding, quick learning curve for team.

Cons

Tech support seems unmotivated to resolve issue, better luck with implementation specialist. The current issue is that SOTA Cloud uses incorrect field to populate at times, no data lost so far however. Hopefully devs find a fix. This would change my rating to 5 stars.

Amazing straight out of the gate. The sales person was so patient and so helpful. Our implementation specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] , was phenomenal. So easy to get a hold of. She was so organized. Just amazing.

Pros

Everything! Transition over to SOTA was smooth. Support throughout the entire process was great. And we love the product.

Cons

Bummed they couldn't convert data from AEKA imaging software. Not the end of the world. And they were very upfront about that. So it was expected.

Support has been very good. The onboarding process could have been very difficult but they made it easy.

Pros

It works well. I have been able to easily take photos, images from sensors, and images from my CBCT and viewing them from anywhere works great.

Cons

I don't love the way the interface looks. I'm not a designer so I don't know how to describe it any better than that.

Pros

SOTA imaging was a timely upgrade from our previous imaging software. The functionalities and user interface is intuitive.

Cons

SOTA is currently only partnered with Pearl AI, and we would prefer Overjet. If SOTA was partner with Overjet, we would be more satisfied.

Great so far. No complaints. Very easy to manually transfer images over and assistants can easily follow the instructions. Makes such tedious task so much easier than it otherwise would have been.

Pros

The user interface is very user friendly. Very easy to organize/rotate/move around images and to adjust image brightness/contrast.

Cons

The fact that patients' DOBs and gender do not automatically transfer over and have to be manually corrected. Also, if I am using a template and want to take more images than the template allows, I have pause to either add slots to the template or re-take the ones I already did, instead of just continue taking them.

It was easy to integrate SOTA into our processes with our dental practice. We like a lot of the features and are excited for some of the AI features to come!

Pros

We love that we can have a patient's chart open on multiple screens at once, and we love how fast SOTA works with our dental software.

Cons

I have not found anything or heard any complaints about the software yet. It has been easy to use and our staff enjoys using it.

Simple and quick. Providers and staff like it. Worked with existing sensors and clinical software.

Pros

Simplicity and ease of use for clinical staff. Ability to send links to X-rays eliminating the need to email or burn disks or use flash drives.

Cons

Not much. It did take a while to transfer X-rays to the cloud from our legacy system.

The transition from our server-based imaging software to SOTA was much easier than expected and the support team has been very responsive.

Pros

We appreciate that SOTA cloud integrates with our practice management software as well as is on the cloud. It makes accessibility to our patient's records seamless and convenient.

Cons

The only thing our doctor is frustrated with on SOTA is the measurement tool. However, when I asked support about this feature, they indicated they were already working on a fix for this!

Seemed like a superior product based on its features.

Great service. Beautiful software. Would easily be the best imaging software if the developers make it more stable.

Pros

Very easy to use Intuitive user interface with easy and fast navigation

Cons

Stability Concerns: we have had issues where the software randomly crashes. It’s not uncommon to get an error message where an error pop up appears saying device not detected. Also, the way the software arranges patient image folders makes it impossible to figure out which patient’s data is in the folder (e.g important if someone has a hardware failure and wants to identify the data that needs to be saved)

once, installed easy to use and manage. The good quality and easy to arrange and label. My team is happy with the investment.

Cons

the initial set up took a while and a few calls to customer service. It was not integrating well at first. Took our computer specialist to eventually configure on his own after our calls to the customer service department failed. Blessed to have an amazing computer tech.

Pros

The software integrates well with my existing practice software. It is very simple to learn and use daily with most patients. All of my staff were able to quickly learn the functions available and use on a daily basis. The image quality and comparable, if not better, than other major brands I have previously used for the past twelve years of dental career. I find that the initial investment was well worth it and hope to get many additional years of quality use and function out of this software.

Cons

What do I least like about this software? Well, considering all the other competition on the market, the cost is fairly high comparable to major other name brands on the market. Not that the software is not worth the investment, I really like and appreciate the software. However, like most other products on the market, the cost can always be a factor .

When I was using SOTA sensors and cameras, it was a great software, except it’s lack of true integration into Dentrix. But overall very good software that rivals Dexis and others.

Pros

Pretty easy to use, their sensors are pretty good. Their cameras are great.

Cons

Implementation into Dentrix wasn’t seamless. But if you don’t care for integration this isn’t an issue in terms of actual software quality.

Pros

Wonderful support, just wish they would come on site for support since there seems to be a barrier while remoting in.

Cons

When uploading images from other practices show date of imaging at a glance. You can change the date but isn't visible unless you select "modify exam" and "set date."

Good patient education opportunities. Ease of daily use with nearly non existent repairs. Fits into our office dynamic effortlessly.

Pros

New employees can learn how to use it quickly. It is easy to edit and send images. There is a good amount of format options. The images are clear for patient education.

Cons

Would like the date header to have the option to change it to the date taken. If we receive xrays from a different location the date that shows is the date of import. In order to see the date taken the mouse needs to hover over the image.

It works well within Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Had no issues with support, they were always helpful and quick to resolve any issues. Very competitively priced.

Cons

I think most of the issues were more hardware related, fogging, etc. Usually had a bit to do with the learning curve of the user as well.

Ease of taking x-rays and being able to lower the dose of radiation

Pros

It is our first digital software so I am unable to compare to any other product. It was quite easy to learn.

Cons

It is easy to use however I would like it better if I was able to print 2 selected x-rays from an exam and print BOTH on one sheet of paper. Also when we set FMX to be taken in a specific order it does not hold that and changes back to initial set up.

Easy to use and install with most practice management software or alone.

Pros

I found that its easy to use for all staff, new and old. There isn't too much trouble shooting you have to do if something comes up. Its straight forward to understand and navigate. Also the Support team is amazing. They are always very courteous and professional.

Cons

Using this cliosoft cray system with a intraoral camera has been tricky. It doesn't always work but its not complicated.
