The platform is cloud-based, so our employees could access the training materials from anywhere. We also appreciated the ability to track employee progress and see who had completed the training. Marketer Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Needed Quizzes to embed on website for Lead Gen" December 27, 2021 5.0 It was a great option for what my client wanted - which was to create quizzes and embed them on her website for lead generation purposes. Pros It was pretty easy to use and set up. It was easy to see who had taken a quiz, what their answers were and what their score was. Customer Service was responsive and helpful. Cons The embedding process was OK but wasn't flawless. The support for embedding wasn't great as I recall. Like, that wasn't one of the main features that they advertised and therefore weren't willing or able to assist. The biggest issue was that I was getting a scroll bar on mobile. Not terrible but didn't look great if you scrolled way down. The functionality was totally fine on mobile though. I just received the following error message when trying to submit the review. Cons There are too many limitations to customize the product from both a learning and branding perspective. Due to time zone differences, getting support within an hour window for a glitch in the system is impossible. Every ticket I submitted took 24-48 hours before I received a response. Not good. It’s very user friendly and this enables us to cover ground. Pros The ability to send onboarding courses to our team and have them expire, so our content isn't floating around. The platform is versatile whether I am building a course for a novice employee or creating an advanced module for a senior employee. The platform makes it possible for me to create content that is eclectic, informative, and interesting. Cons It would be nice if there was greater scope for branding customization on the platform. ProProfs Training Maker works great on phones and tablets, which is a huge plus. Pros Mobile-friendly, accessible from anywhere, easy to track mobile learning. Mobile compatibility was the main deciding factor. Cons The mobile interface is a little different from the desktop version, but it's still easy to use. None really. It is a complete package which not only allows me to create courses but it eliminates the boundaries of file formats. Also, i don't need to type everything down as i can post direct links and videos as part of my course. I also have the options to add quizzes and surveys at the end of each lesson to test my employees and gather feedback. If i go out of questions or can't think of the relevant ones then i can use the "suggest me a question" feature that helps me to search relevant questions for my topic. One of my acquaintances mentioned about SaaS Learning Management Software but i was skeptical as i thought creating courses required a lot of time and effort. But after using ProProfs, i don't think the same way because now I create courses just by arranging several links, videos, PPTs and more. Used the software for: ### "Recent experience with proprofs" February 1, 2016 1.0 I subscribed to ProProfs to collect student responses for a time sensitive project. ProProfs lost 75% of my students' responses, failed to call with a solution after promising to do so, failed to respond to my emails, and then refused to refund my subscription, even though I got no use out of the program whatsoever. Service is terrible, the tool is undependable, and the site doesn't care. Cost me precious time and money.
