Pros

FluidCM is super easy to use, the concise interface of this product is what I like most. You don't need to spend much time clicking around or train your subcontractors to use it, everybody can learn how to use it within 10 minutes.

Cons

Every time when I downloaded the files (RFI/submittals), I have to change the file name manually since the file name was randomly generated.

It really solved a problem for us by getting us up and running quickly with a cloud based set of tools that kept the job running smooth.

Pros

We used this tool for a Design-Build, $24M , multi-year high-tech industry renovation project. The web based components were what we were after and it really helped streamline Daily Logs, Meeting Minutes, RFIs and Submittals.

Cons

More API's are in development, so it will be good to see how those turn out.

Ease of interface with the design team.

Pros

It's very easy to use and access, easy to log onto, easy to search, and easy to download responses from designers.

Cons

It doesn't always open from the link in an email. Many times, I have received a response from an architect and I have to log into the system in order to access it.

The product was not overly complicated but I felt that it was in a beta stage of development. The product was targeted for constructors. I am a construction manager working mostly as an owner's representative. Some of the features did not apply to the services I provide.

Cons

The support was limited as well. I called the rep with issues and oftentimes the response was, "We are working on a fix for that". Otherwise, the rep. was very nice to work with.

The Fluid software has been a great project management tool. It keeps track of all the documents, and most importantly, who is responsible for getting the task completed. The distribution tools make it quick to send out Minutes, RFI's, etc. to all parties involved. Customer service is a 10! Always available and willing to make modifications so the software fits our needs.

Pros

Tracking of tasks and responsibilities for each party. Distribution of Meeting notes is quick. RFI and submittal logs can be printed in minutes. Great way to track documents.

Cons

Some software glitches, but nothing that customer service can't help correct. I wish there was a bit more personalization of the documentation styles. For example, a function to add in different categories into the Daily Log documents, or RFI documents.

Fluid is very user friendly, and provides the tools we use in the field daily. The customer service has been excellent and they respond in a timely manner to our questions.

I recently enrolled in the Fluid contract manager. As a previous user of Primavera and other national brands Fluid is much easier for me and my team. The cost as compared to these other providers is much lower making it an extremely valuable resource with substantial savings to our company. I would highly recommend this product and their back office support team
