Zoho Projects in conjunction with Reports has been a great way to track time and look at resource allocation which is very important for a small business. It's an easy product to use and the benefits are big. Pros Ease of use Cost effective You put in the data and get the kinds of reports that are useful to you Cons A more clear guide for use, I often have to google questions I have. I hope that they (and Linkedin) get an integration set up soon as that is the one thing we are missing but Facebok and Google and analytics had great native integrations. Pros It is low cost and allows us to set up boards easily with lots of room to customize. Cons I did require the help of a developer to get some information into the product as I have only some experience in dashboard creation. Help is good if you have a specific question and usually responded within an hour or two. Creator is a system that allows non-programmers to step into programming mainly at the data collection and manipulation level. Zoho reports is an integrated visualization layer. Pros Reports ties in pretty neatly to creator. A user can stand-up a report and present into a web page with refresh automatically and drill down. Cons Connecting multiple tables is not intuitive and help desk struggled to understand my requirements and get them solved. Different types of manipulation I thought should be easy were not and when I put out suggestions..I got very little feedback. The number of of visualizations should increase substantially. I think this platform could be great but a user group is needed and zoho needs to publish its roadmap (at some level). You can share your reports with the team and also interact with them. You can attach the reports at your blogs or page to increase its reach. Application simple and easy to use, you can, in fact, create reports without investing a huge effort. The customer service is very responsive, you can keep in touch by just leaving a message in the chat window. It is a very affordable solution for the creation of sophisticated reports with ease. You can personalize your dashboard by using the themes option. Cons There is a limit to the number of users who can access the account. You will find the main dashboard to be a little complicated. I am teaching others on my team to use it now and while there are a few features I'd like to see implemented, it's working well for what we need it to do. -Report Sharing is a big plus for us -Scalable -Great tool for a Product Manager or Account Manager -Customer Support has been helpful and responsive Cons \-Sharing reports between team members is a bit too cumbersome -Really wish there were more formatting capabilities in the Dashboards. Pros ease of use, friendly interface, excellent customer support. Customer support via chat is always pretty efficient and complete. I rarely feel like my issues was not addressed in its entirety. Cons occasional lack of intuitive solution - not every solution can be found with just a few minutes of googling or experimentation., they require a chat with customer service. The company also keeps updating smaller items, even without me raising a feature request ticket, that makes it easier to use the software. My example: the embed report function was a little buggy and giving restricted access to a report I hosted on a zoho.sites.com site, but I wanted it to be unrestricted. They added a new edit table functions tab that allowed me to not only change this, but also gave me additional control options on how the information is reviewed, displayed, and exported. Cons There's an initial learning curve on how to build a report before you can jump in and see live numbers. Also, it would have been nice if I had done an initial demo or assisted launch. I just jumped right in and it took a few reports to get it right, but if you're savvy with software this should be a breeze. Review Source JV Justine V. Sharing with non-technical users is quite easy and straight forward. We, mostly, use tabular reports and the performance has been quite good. It really gives you a good tool to see things from a big-picture view with minimal effort, after initial setup. Pros Ease of use and construction of what you want to 'see' on a dash. Pretty logical setup. Cons The integration with Salesforce is a bit cantankerous/clunky. While the product has many limitations, the user-experience and ease of use make it a good overall experience. Pros The ease of use of the product is great. Once data is imported, creating useful tables, reports, and dashboards can sometimes take a matter of minutes. Cons The features this product offers are somewhat limited, in terms of data manipulation and report variety. Also, flexibility when it comes to report creation is pretty strict, due to the mold of the product. I tried to create a folder and tried to use the help menu and the first step was click the reports tab and step 2 in the reports home page click create report folder. There is NOT a create a report folder in this tab....while creating a report you have to go to the last step basic information and select a folder or create folder OR you can select a report and select move to folder drop down which has a create folder option.
