Pros: Vin decoder, customer reminders. Several pricing matrix setups. E-mails; customers, statements, bulk mailings. You can do Reminders, Canned Jobs.

Cons: Sometimes, looking up a recently used part, You have to remember the last customer it was used on. I suspect there is a better way that I just haven't found yet

Overall: It has NEVER dropped a decimal point on acct. recv., VERY functional car histories, vin decoder. You can TAG OUT a customer that you DON'T want to e-mail or contact.

Horrible service. Software basic outdated. i bouhgt a shop that was already running this

Cons: no Idea what the yearly fee for support is. Support is a total joke.

Overall: sucks outdated software. just put a call in to support as usual no one to talk to im dead in the water cant invoice and cant get ahold of anyone. im done with this company and the people that work at this place. good luck to those left

Comments: I have been using Lankar software for 4 years and unfortunately I am kind of married to it, as it is difficult to transfer all the data to an alternative software brand. The system uses old technology that is difficult to use. The reports it generates are inaccurate for profit margins and tech support has no solution. The technical support is some of the worst I have ever dealt with. I have to phone at minimum 2 times a month, wait on hold up to 10 minutes for the RECEPTIONIST, who is rude, then tells me a technician will call back shortly only to have a tech call me back hours later. I will move on one day of I can ever figure out how to export our data base. Don make the same mistake we did!
