Pros Light and powerful internet security and antivirus solution that uses minimal system and network resources and understands the limitation and unique needs of users in less secure network environments especially in 3rd world countries. Cons Support could be better and the product choice made easier for the novice computer user wanting to try it out. Switched from [AVG Antivirus Business Edition](https://www.capterra.com/p/176245/AVG-Antivirus-Business-Edition/) eScan ISS was by far a better products Reasons for choosing eScan ISS Kaspersky is too heavy on system resources and was not built to consider the limited system resources and slow internet connection in less developed countries. I think of eScan ISS as a better-designed Kaspersky. Pros It is inexpensive, it is simple and easy to use, and the most important it is smooth and doesn't slow my computer like some other antivirus softwares. Cons Compared to other softwares that I have used previously, escan was not the most secure antivirus, yet it was not bad. Just solves the purpose. But many features are left out like personal firewall and parental controls which could be available with McAfee , Norton or Bitdefender. Pros eScan includes spam filters which are powerful, but isn't good enough from stopping you to visit Malicious sites. A nice intuitive dashboard with buttons colored red welcome you before you start using them. The software is good enough to scan attachments for viruses. If you suspect a file to be corrupted, you can actually upload it to eScan to check if it is good. Cons Many of the high-end features that eScan promise is part of the basic package from Bitdefender, another anti virus suite. It has no warning on Malicious websites, so you won't know until you are there. Also support says 24/7, but clicking it takes us to the website which is filled with tutorial and FAQ's which might make you feel lost.
