Billing is a breeze, as we create an excel report of time we have spent that needs to be on-billed and this gets attached to our invoice. The reports Pros Easy to use. The start / stop button is handy and the desktop and mobile apps are useful. A great step up from our previous time tracking system - todoyu. The reports and daily tracking email are great too. May 22, 2018 4.0 TimeCamp has benefited me, because although it has no instructions, I have managed to handle it perfectly and I have managed to take the exact time that each of my employees works. Pros TimeCamp promises since its inception, a stable platform for taking time without interruption, and that's what I like, that complies with what promises to the client, offering functionality without setbacks. Cons It is not so easy to manage TimeCamp, and the worst thing is that there are no instructions to understand its management, I recommend that instructions or steps are implemented to achieve a better management of each new client that enters the system. Cons What our team enjoyed less is that the web version isn't always so accurate, and sometimes we need to re-enter our task durations or description since it didn't save it the first time. I first implemented it with a law firm, where we needed to track the legal team's time spent on various cases. Since then, I've implemented it with a major tech company, where we needed to track time associated with various projects. It worked seamlessly with both. This tool lets you track timecards, bill time to projects, track billable and non-billable work, time off, etc. I especially love the reporting functionality- it has given us a much better understanding of how our workforce is collectively spending its time. Pros Timecamp is super duper easy to use. It let us simply select the particular task and after hitting the timer, it automatically calculates the total worked hours. I like its' amazing ability of sending report of previous day via email. In my opinion it is highly recommended tool for measuring various activities as well as productivity. Cons There are plenty of benefits of Timecamp that seems to be uncountable. I have become more than satisfied user of this product. I do not find even a single con of it. It's pretty intuitive, allowing me to set up automatic tasks assigned to various projects with which I'm involved. Can take some fiddling to get things to track exactly as expected, but once done it works and generates insightful reports. Pros Automatic task tracking Cons My work seems a bit complex for the typical TC user, so I have to manually review my timesheets from time to time to clean things up. Some of my clients tend to ask for invoices mid-week or at a moment's notice. I can easily accommodate them by selecting a date range when creating the invoice. It's also a bit time consuming to learn ... however, I often find that most software has a learning curve and it's worth it! Tried different solutions but overall experience with Timecamp was the best. It automatically syncs all changes to tasks made in Wunderlist and I can track time from Windows app, very convinient. Sometimes there are some technical problems, but they are resolved rather quickly, client support personnel is very polite and helpful in providing information on issue. Taking into account price charged, for me using Timecamp became no-brainer. Outside of a few UI issues, like the button or making the home a better summary of overall time/tasks/clients, TimeCamp is a solid, functional choice for tracking my hours. Pros The free version does everything that I need it to. I can create different projects for each client, easily log my time and tasks during the week, and then view a summary of my hours at the end of the week or month. Cons It's a small thing, but there you have to press the green "Start" button twice to get the timer to actually begin recording time. I've only pressed it once by accident a few times, and it was annoying to go back and manually track my time again. Pros The best thing about TimeCamp is the compact design that it has, and the App for phones. With this so good design, you can take several tiemos at the same time, and it is easier to locate each of the functions of TimeCamp, to stop the time or to archive the time taken. The App is very updated, and complements the web version very well. Cons I do not like the prices of TimeCamp, clearly this is not a very important factor, but I would like that there were more accessible prices to the consumer that allows them to easily buy the latest plans. Pros Certain features on TimeCamp were extremely insightful on how time had been spent whilst tracking and how efficiency could be improved. From a manager's perspective, the reports are easy to populate and view. Cons The biggest concern when using the software is how invasive the tracking may be appear from a user's perspective. To have to constantly begin and end tracking when working on a task can be demotivating - this isn't a failure of the software itself, but more of the manner in which the software presents itself to a user.
