Working with diferent projects and taska all the time, i Hvae had problems keeping track and a good overview. This has helped for both me and my colleagues to know what to prioritize and what we need to work on day by day. So many tools you can work with to make your everyday work tasks easier. Cons Time consuming to set up, although worth it can take time to get started. Thankfully they havea great team that is very helpful and supportive. I can't work without it. Its simplicity and effectiveness were key factors for me to adopt this tool. However, I would not trust the desktop app to accurately reflect time spent working. There must be a more robust program out there. Pros I use TimeCamp to track my time for multiple freelance projects. I like the interface and how it tracks my websites and what I'm doing. It helps hold me accountable for my work, and allows me to accurately bill. Cons I do not believe the desktop app works well. It's impossible for me to start and stop the timer and change the task directly through the desktop button. I always have to go to the TimeCamp website and manually enter it from there. Pros I love how easy it is to start using from the moment you take the dicision, the assistance is direct, there are discounts for those people who are students, I love that I can monitor the work time on the computer, distribute and assign tasks to each member of the work team and even invoice the work hours of each member. Cons If there is something bad to say is that the interface looks somewhat outdated, but outside of that I think it is an excellent application to integrate many aspects of the field of work. August 22, 2016 5.0 I do not like to bill hourly as a developer, but by milestone. Client insisted. Googled up timecamp, dropped in, fell in love. I use trello so it doved tailed perfectly with project management. Pros The best thing is being able to categorize projects and tasks on the fly. I get a bug report that needs immediate attention stop and start a timer with a the bug in the notes and I am off. Later I can run a report and it becomes the invoice. Cons I wish it would beep every half hour to tell me a timer was still running. Sometimes I forget and have readjust the times. Basically I need to read my mind, oh well. I was able to get it up and running for a project with a client within one hour in the free version. To create a report of my hours to be billed, I purchased a paid version. I can totally recommend Timecamp for a single freelance research consultant (single user). Especially when you are looking at off site workers that you are needing to record hours worked. The integration with Podio software is fantastic. Cons The need for each individual party to have to pay a user fee. Other softwares like this will bundle users into groups. You need far more people with Timecamp to get the bundled discount so the very small businesses may do better elsewhere. Especially if you only need to keep track of a handful of offsite employees. Pros Great time management system. I've used others that were cumbersome and bulky, but Timecamp is easy to use and intuitive. It's a fast interface. I can easily add notes in my project time, archive and de-archive projects, add subprojects, run reports with as much detail or as little as I want (many report info options). Using Timecamp saves me time in my freelance business and allows me to track my hours accurately without hassle! Cons Some of the interface screens look a bit dated, but doesn't bother me as I care more about function and it all works great! Media Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Cross-plattform time tracking with amazing feature set and device compatibility" August 1, 2016 5.0 I have been looking for a cloud based/cross plattform (computer + mobile) time tracker to replace my old dektop tool (which was simple, lightweight, easy to use). The only one I found checking several online was TimeCamp - also with a free account for basic needs which works great too. Support are AWESOME - the even transferred my old database from the old tool to TimeCamp. Amazing. The android app gets frequent updates and they are always very responsive and helpful to support requests. I use it without the desktop app, via a browser, and out on client meetings via the app, as I don't need my computer time tracked automatically. Works a charm. A clear winner, very highly recommended indeed for tracking time spent on projects. Cons I'm not seeing an easy reporting based on "client" this would make it alot easier during the billing process. On a few instances I add an activity and the timer doesn't start counting automatically, I'm certain I do something different when this happens but not sure what. With Timecamp, I found it best suited for my needs, with nice application for my Mac and iPhone. Now I have data for analysis, and as a side effect, can roll back a week to remember what I was doing a week or even a month ago. You have many options available to make it exactly how you want it to be. It can also be linked with other services to greatly expand its functionalities. Cons The only con that I can think of is that the coolest options are only available after you buy a premium plan, but its definitely worth it anyways. Didn't need hardly any tech support. Cons It sometimes duplicates lines on invoices. Had to refresh the invoices before sending to make sure the duplicate got removed.
