It also is very useful to monitor your productivity during the day to make certain you are using your time parallel to your goals. Makes time tracking on projects so easy. Our team loves the budget analysis capabilities. I love the graphical timesheet and manual timer. Cons For the functionality it offers, I would say the price tag associated is a bit high. A portal for business units or customers should be offered so they can view the work associated with their projects. Pros I love the project and keywords functionality. I love that I can enter time manually or start a timer. Seeing all of my project times by month, week, day, and all time is so useful! I switched from toggl and I haven't looked back. Cons I remember when I first started using the software it showed if it was tracking time when I locked a tab via a little glowing dot. I miss that. I can no longer pin a tab and know if it's tracking. I don't love the create project interface. It feels dated. Additionally the new green top bar makes me miss the old one. I think it was gray. June 7, 2017 5.0 Pros Time tracking is largely automated but the automatic tracking also works great if you're running a manual timer, iPhone app is easy to use, there's Google Calendar integration (even if it is done via Zapier and a bit basic), it just works! With TimeCamp it's really easy to see all the little bits of computer activity you haven't assigned and assign them to the correct task/project. Cons Google Calendar integration is bit basic, the graphic view of the timesheet could be so much easier to read and do stuff with, would be awesome to have a GPS based movement tracker on the iPhone app (as Timely does using the Moves app). UI and icons could be a little cleraner ane more modern. Other than this can't fault it really,. The ability to create a hierarchy of projects and associate time entries with them is what gives the system its power for me. The reporting and integration are also very comprehensive. November 16, 2016 4.0 I've been using TimeCamp for about a year and have been impressed by the customer service and continual tweaks and improvements to the process. It's handy to use on multiple platforms and mobile devices. There are still some tweaks being done for the desktop platform that is improving the experience, and sometimes the synching is a bit off, but overall it's a wonderful program that allows me to track the time I spend on various projects. Pros I searched awhile to find software the suits my needs: I do freelance work for different clients under different agreements. I really like that I can track each project under each client easily. The reporting is excellent, even the free version allows me to summarize in different ways - you just need the premium version to export. Cons I liked the idea of having the timer on my desktop so I could jump between windows. The ability to detect when work starts and stops is cool too, but I didn't like the idea of it tracking everything I do on my computer so I still use it on my browser. There was one time when it went offline, but the software kept tracking my time and synced up when it got back online - that was a great relief. May 30, 2017 5.0 I wanted to measure how my time is spent and how much of it is used for helping other developers, how much is wasted and how much is spent on codding. Results were a bit different than expected and this helped me to reorganize a bit. Pros In general it is quite good software for keeping track of what you are doing on daily basis. Automatic task selection is nice feature and gives a lot of freedom when configuring it. You can easily add new tasks and keep them grouped together. You can export to other software and file formats. Cons If I am leaving my computer to help a colleague and am locking my workstation the software will automatically stop logging time. This is a bit annoying. It would be great if I could select that certain task should run on locked workstation. This is not that big of a deal tho. You can always edit this later on if you need. For some reason tho, manually added tasks are not sorted correctly by time. I think this is a bug.
