Pros \- Screen recording - Activity tracking - Poor time tracking - Application usages tracking - Minimum hours required setting. - Reports - Integration with nearly all project management tools. Cons \- Only thing I would like to improve in software is desktop application. Where we would like to show particular tasks to be worked on. The only thing that could be updated is the UI. Pros I use this to keep track of how much time I spend per day on specific and everyday tasks, to know what I have been spending most my time on vs what I should. Since I work on multiple projects each week, it's nice to know where my priorities should be, and if I am keeping up with them. I love how easy it is to use and how it hold you to account if it thinks you've changed focus. If I stop working on my project to take a phone call, it recognizes that I am no longer working on my computer. After my preset time has passed, Time Doctor pops up on my screen and asks, "Are you still working on X Project?" If the phone call is related to the project, I can say yes and include it in my time. If it is not, I can say no and Time Doctor will pause the timer for the project I was working on. The same is true if I am naughty and visit Facebook without pausing my timer. Pros It's intuitive function and how it knows to pause the timer if I quit working on a project. Cons The way it associates tasks and projects is a bit confusing at first. " February 13, 2022 4.0 Overall - both automatic and manual time logging was a breeze and really efficient for a globally spread team. Pros It was really easy to log time against specific projects. Integrates really nicely with our project management software Jira so the task list would populate and you would start the timer and the time was logged automatically. Really easy. Our team is globally distributed so this worked just perfectly fine. Cons The software takes automatic screenshots every now and again. This would mean that sometimes when you are checking personal email etc, those screenshots would get taken as well which was far from ideal. This should be addressed by Time Doctor if not already.
