" August 21, 2018 5.0 It has allowed me to take my inventory lists from piles of papers and data entry to one quick scan and entry. It saves of hours of labor and I don’t have to worry about keeping track of my inventory log papers anymore. Pros The software is great it provides many ways to categorize or classify your assets. The stickers are metal and practically impossible to scratch off the QR code. The software also provides means of recovering lost assets through contact info and rewards. Cons Sometimes the app freezes during entering the information for the assets and you have to start over on that asset. Being able to just quickly scan the code and see the info of the device and where its located at is very useful. Cons The thing I liked least about this software was that it kind of has an out of date feel to it on the site. Seems like it could use an update to its interface. Clicking on an asset I wish it wouldn't take you to a whole other page but would show you a preview with a few options and give you an option for full detailed view. The software is easy to use and it is easy for new users to figure out and manage their inventory. Pros I really like the phone app and how easy it is to scan the barcode and pull up he items information. You can easily edit the information from there. Cons The software is not as customizable as I would like. I wish I could customize it a little more to my needs and. It also needs better analytics such as planning for item replacement. November 2, 2016 4.0 From the beginning we were just looking for a way to find out where our equipment was. We got in touch with GoCodes and from day one they offered us a demo and over 200 stickers! We started the process of adhering the easy to install GoCodes stickers, and installed the mobile app. Since then we have added over 1000 additional stickers. We would highly recommend this system to anyone who is looking for asset tracking or inventory management. Pros The detailed information options that can be added to every asset. When I had difficulty understanding some of the set up, I got immediate assistance, even though I am on the smallest program. Support and ease of use are both excellent Pros Many of the products we looked at had multiple features we did not need. We were able to select the product that was best suited for our needs without having to pay for features we did not require. Cons It would be nice to get more codes without having to go to a monthly billing situation, due to our limited use of the product. Reason for choosing GoCodes All were more expensive, more difficult to use and/or did not provide the field use we were looking for. I have high hopes that they will develop a real live time GPS tracking system like this, it would be changing the construction world as we know it. Pros Like the concept of the easy to use phone app tracking system. Cons The quality of stickers was not good, and I ordered the highest rated. I asked several times if the GPS tracking could be used on tracking tools for a construction company, and was mislead to believe real time tracking was possible. After purchasing, implementing it on multiple tools and data entered in tracking system, learned it does not work unless you literally check each tool in on every job site, every move. Since we operate out of a shop and tools go to several job sites, this would never work. On the topic of the labels, we explained that there was an option to upgrade to a tougher material but you choose the poly labels which are not as tough. Double reference for our MDM Cons Will not read our 3rd party QR codes- “wrong data format”. The QR code outputs the exact letter/number combination, but will not read. I think the software expects a dash or similar, which is not required when manually searching. Because of this we must manually search for each item, and the QR portion of our labels is without reason.
