Pros - cross platform, reliable, easy to use, customer service and analytics reports that give you individual information on monitored machines after the session Cons - If you could call it a con, it is still in the improvement/development stage. That means that some things that would be great are still in the process of being created. What's great about it, is that they are still researching new ideas to make their product even better!

DyKnow provides an amazing avenue through which I can control technology use in the classroom. Students can only access sites I allow, which eliminates the distractions of aimlessly surfing the internet for entertainment rather than for educational purposes. Additionally, with DyKnow, technology misuse is eliminated in my classes.

I wish it still had an ATTENTION button. Despite blocking, some students still play their games. A few students manage to not be monitored, so that they can do their own thing. In general, it is an improvement from previous years.

This has been a HUGE help in keeping students on task and blocking websites that tend to distract them during class. I'm able to contain their searches to certain websites that are suitable and on topic. It really helps with the one-to-one device initiative that we started this year!

I love using dyknow with my students. I can easily see what they are working on and what they are researching. I can send comments to help guide them or get them back on task. My interaction with them can be as limited or involved as I want it to be from my laptop. I have the ability to hold all students accountable my monitoring them at all times.

I am a middle school teacher and I use DyKnow to monitor students' activity on their chromebooks during class time. The features include ability to lock their chromebook if their use is inappropriate and send them a message. I am also able to create blocking plans that only allow them to access certain sites, or to restrict them from certain site.

DyKnow was a game changer when it was introduced with my students. I never have to worry that my students are on a website they are not allowed to be on because I can set what they are allowed to use. You can personalize the settings so that you block what you want or only allow what websites you want them on.

I really wish we could block / release individual students per class. If I have them blocked during a test and some of the students finish, they must wait until all of the students are done for me to release them from the blocking plan or they have to turn off their wireless and then work offline.

As a middle school teacher, students will wander if they can. This program is easy to use and allows you to not only see in real time where a student is, but it also allows you to find random wandering you may have missed. Students can be allowed only on the sites you want!! Great Program!!

Dyknow is an amazing product for use in school settings. As we move into a more technology driven academic setting, students will try to use their technology to be off task. Dyknow allows teachers to set limits so students must stay on task during the academic day.

This product if very helpful for teachers. It allows me to see what the students are doing on their computers. If there is a site the students are not suppose to be at I am able to block the site very quickly. It has cut down on the number of times the students were not on the right site. I would recommend this product.

I think Dyknow has been very useful in keeping students on task on their online work. Being able to restrict them to certain sites to avoid distractions is great. I also enjoy being able to help students with different problems from my computer while I'm helping other students at my desk.

I use DyKnow regularly in my classroom. It is really easy to use and I know that it helps to keep my students focused. This is the first March Madness season I have not had to spend fighting my class to keep the games of off their Chrome books. I can block ALL of it with one click!!

DyKnow is a huge help for electronic testing. Its much easier to make sure students are not cheating, as most tests are now on Chromebooks. Also, it helps with monitoring student work during individual work time.
